For Vegetarian food, besides Vegetarian stalls and restaurants, there are numerous Chinese, Malay and Indian rice stalls at Coffeeshops and Hawker Centres, where you can choose from a selection of vegetarian and meat dishes to go with your rice. As for Indian food stalls (the most common being Indian Muslim), there are usually choices for Bryani or plain rice with meat (Chicken, Fish or Mutton) and vegetables, as well as a vegetarian option. So, there are actually many Vegetarian choices which are both affordable and also widely available.
Yes, I noticed all that later on too. It does take some time to understand where everything is though. Thanks for the comment, I am sure it will help a lot of people reading this! :D
My partner and I lived across Chocoelf at heritage collection in Chinatown for around 8 days. We loved each moment of what Singapore had to offer. Chinatown felt like home for those 8 days
Hi visha, You can go to ananda restaurant in little India...it offers a very very tasty south Indian food and mango lassi I went to Singapore last month and enjoyed their hospitality.
You have no idea how much you have motivated me to make the sg trip happen through your videos, thank you visha. Your videos are rich in information especially for those traveling solo. Again, thank you
Nicely done! As a vegan myself, I think these tips will be useful on my next solo trip... including in Singapore! And of course, it would be nice to find nice strangers / people to connect with as you did with that one girl at metro station.. she seemed so nice!
Crazy co-incidence! I arrived here today and went to the exact same food center in search of local veg food and had the exact same reaction. Eating ready to eat mashed potatoes from 7-11 for dinner while watching this video :(
As an Indian living in Singapore for 13+ years now, will be more than happy to help u out in any which ways u may want. It was fun seeing ur vlogs - reminded me of when I had come here first time in the year 2000 !!! God I am ancient :-)
Hello Sir, Can you possibly help with Veg options in Universal Studio and Sentosa ? I guess they don't allow food inside USS. Hence pls reply. Travelling with 2 kids 10 and 7.
Wow!! Feeling quite a nostalgic.... I was also travelling alone like you and found extremely expensive except sim card and call charge 😃 Perfumes are bit economical and good quality though 😎
I will be starting my RUclips Channel soon and thus landed on one of your videos (How To Film Yourself While Travelling SOLO...) and became your fan since then.
There is an electronic store for Indians - Known as Mustafa. Cover that. Sentosa Island and Its Joyride, Merlion Park also is nice. Singaporean Cilli crab is a delicacy - replace crab with veg patty / Visha - Your channel is nice.
Di you are amazing and you are inspiration.. You are really living my dream life.. I just love your vlog specially this sea series is amazing.. Appreciating your effort 😍

Yes, I did visit Mustafa it was great! And thanks for the suggestions :)
I don’t think Mustafa stock many electronics. Specifically camera lenses and high end phones. Sim Lim Square seems better.
