Rest in Peace to all the cast of on the Buses! Thank you for making this video it makes me look back of a little girl that watched this funny film I liked a lot rest in peace to the casts. 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
I remember watching on the bus's when I was about 10yrs old, I'm 65 now , I'm sad when I hear of the members of the cast who have past even though this is inevitable, I'm impressed that they were quite down to earth in the fact that they could act so brilliantly and carry on a normal family life as well unlike many actors today who are all glamour and no substance.
16:46 Cicely Courtnidge's role as "Mum" in "On The Buses" was brief, thus she was *OVERSHADOWED* in the role by her replacement, Doris Hare. Again an example of *POOR RESEARCH, IF ANY RESEARCH WAS DONE AT ALL!*
John Lyons was far better known as DS George Toolan in "A Touch of Frost" (1992-2010) and featured in 39 episodes. He was in only four episodes of "On the Buses" and played three different characters (Bert, Sid and Bill)!
Cicely Courtnidge *WAS NOT* in "On The Buses" for more than the first dozen or so episodes before being replaced by Doris Hare! (14:48) Goes no show how *POORLY-RESEARCHED* this video is, apart from that *ACCURSED ROBOTIC NARRATION AND EXCESSIVE REPETITION OF DETAILS THAT ONLY NEED MENTIONING ONCE OR TWICE!*
It's *EXTREMELY EASY* to tell this has *ROBOTIC NARRATION* because of the excessive repetition of several lines and excessive repetition of the subject TV show's title.
What a easy way to make money, someone from USA trying to be an authority on a UK sitcom and using grotesque click bait, people should stop clicking on this sort of rubbish so the video maker gets nothing.
I'm at little confused. There are two Mums. Both acting the entire time On the Buses was filmed? Something is a bit strange there. Who was the Mum? Dori Hare or Cicley Courtneidge?
Doris Hare appeared in 67 episodes of On The Buses. Cicely Courtneidge appeared in the first season in only 7 episodes as mum. Doris Hare is the actress I recall as mum and was the more popular. I never missed an episode.
Those were the days British humour still to this day unmatched from steptoe and son are you being served Tommy Cooper the list goes on the Carryons and on and on🎉🎉🎉🎉

Watched it this morning on ITV3 👍🏻
Amazing series.❤
RIP to those not with us anymore. For anyone born in the late 50s early 60s, they were part of our childhood.

Remind me, what were the three spin-off movies called again?
Are you talking about the ones released in 1971, 1972 and 1973?
Fantastic memories 😂😂😂 Rip legend's 🙏💕🏴
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤best actor's ever.😢
I loved Arthur, he always thought he was to good for the Butlers.
What's it about oh yes ON THE BUSES 😅😅😅😅😅
Who says 'two thousand and twenty two'? Normal people say 'twenty, twenty two'.
According to the robotic narrator, they all ‘maintained a relatively private life’. What a great era.

They all are I was 2 when is was started showing on TV
"Personal life private" = "we couldn't find anything on Wikipedia".
a bit unfair this, taking someone and uglifying their visage. Not nice.
Narration is painful!

Picture at the beginning isn’t the same actress!!!!
It's *EXTREMELY EASY* to tell this has *ROBOTIC NARRATION* because of the excessive repetition of several lines and excessive repetition of the subject TV show's title.
Still better than some AI narration
Yes and the mispronouncing of several words.
@@PJ-po7fu AI narration is *NEVER, EVER ACCEPTABLE!!!*
@@SuzanneStutzle RUclips has got to start *PURGING* its platform of *ALL* robotically-narrated and AI-captioned videos *NOW!*
Irritating!!!! Does my head in
Ah'll get you Butler ...Ahhhhh !.. You'll see !!
Why does the voice-over keep saying On The Buses ,when the entire video is based On The Buses 😅
This picture of the late Anna Karen is not her how can a American tell us about our british comedy ?? 🙄
It's not an American. It's an American voice.
I loved on the buses I sill do 😊
every cast member kept their private life private and had relatively happy marriages😐
What a easy way to make money, someone from USA trying to be an authority on a UK sitcom and using grotesque click bait, people should stop clicking on this sort of rubbish so the video maker gets nothing.
These thumbnails are unbelievable!!! 😡😡😡😡
The part about Ursula Mohan is totally wrong. It’s shows her briefly then Patricia Clapton who played the part of Edna!
Does anyone remember Stephen Lewis in the last episodes of Alexi Sayles TV series? They were very good together.
I'm at little confused. There are two Mums. Both acting the entire time On the Buses was filmed? Something is a bit strange there. Who was the Mum? Dori Hare or Cicley Courtneidge?
Both
Cicely Courtneidge only acted in the early part of the 1969 season and was replaced by Doris Hare from 1969 to 1973.
Doris Hare appeared in 67 episodes of On The Buses. Cicely Courtneidge appeared in the first season in only 7 episodes as mum. Doris Hare is the actress I recall as mum and was the more popular. I never missed an episode.
@@quarkcypher Thanks, of course. I only remember Doris Hare myself. I loved the show at the time but it was a long time ago now and one forgets.
Jack grant never made it back when it ended never got no more work
Get your facts right picture on the right is penny Marshall from Laverne and Shirley !!!!!
Shelley Duvall was not in on the buses you tool
Anna karen turns into the lady from the shining!
Shelly Duvall was not a cast member of on the buses Numpty!!!!!!
Love thy Neighbor ❤
Another sad excuse for humour.

Hilarious? What planet are you from? It was awful.
0:56 Correction: Anna Karen, born in Durban, cape colonies! South Africa before 1994 *SHOULD NOT BE OFFICIALLY RECOGNISED BECAUSE OF APARTHEID!*
Hahahaha 😂😂
One of the worst comedies from that time
Not in terms of its popularity at the time
