The most underrated piano concerto
I agree...it's so sad.

I keep a private youtube collection of my favorite emotional piano concertos. This concerto and the 2nd concerto rank 9 & 10 on my list. Hey, it's the nature of subjectivity. LOL!
I would love to see that collection!
Absolutely fabulous. A fantastic concerto. I would like to see Yuja Wang or some great contemporaries perform it with a major orchestra.
And Lang Lang... what do you think
Lang Lang is a hack!
He thinks he's infinitely better than the music he's playing.
Music is an auditory medium for me. So, I'd prefer to hear the music being played, rather than watch it be performed.
Great music, great pianist, great conductor, great orchestra, great recording, can't do any better !
The complete movement information is as follows:
I. Adagio maestoso - Cadenza - Poco meno adagio - Allegro
II. Andante
III. Vivace - Tranquillo - Tempo I - Molto tranquillo - Vivace - Maestoso - Presto - Poco più presto - Più presto
Thank You. Thank You. Thank You. Again, when YouTurds took down the other site that had posted these, I was overly depressed! Now I am happy again ! Let's keep those YouTurd Guys out of the Censorship Game ! Good Job !
One of the best concerto I've heard...
An excellent performance of a stunning yet almost forgotten work. Those who appreciate good music would be wise to listen to the compositions of this much overlooked composer.
Who also wrote the Florida State Seminoles ' fight song !
Came across the maestro while listening to In Tune on BBC Radio 3. What a treasure store! Lots to explore.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful music

Thanks so much for this. I really miss the stuff that Unsung Masterworks posted. You are his/her heir.
Had Rachmaninoff studied this obscure work before composing his Piano Concerto #2? A very similar "big tune" near the end.
I was checking your channel. What a composer we have here, very Rautavaarian in the harmonic and style of composition. Excellent quality, thank you so much for sharing.
wonderful performance
They should erect statues of H.Shelley and M.Bammert for their contribution to the promotion of many half-forgotten composers.
