Honestly this is the best jeans video that I have ever seen! Also you are the first person that I have ever seen that has been able to show me the proper way to cuff a non tapered hem. And just a little suggestion for when you come to the states: since you are such a fan of Levi's (who isn't?) you should try looking in the thrift stores here. We have great styles and prices. I have at least 10+ pairs of Levi's alone that I bought secondhand for an average of $10 or least for each one...🤑
I'm a bit funny about second hand clothes, I do buy vintage occasionally but I really struggle with the smell, it's just a weird OCD kinda thing of mine 🙈

I love high street and I love designer pieces but I prefer to invest in my shoes and accessories along with staple pieces rather that wearing designer head to toe.....I haven't got the money for that 😂

Love Levi's. I used to only wear Levi's and hated other jeans 👖 but I reached out to other brands when Levi's were not doing great but I don't think I ever liked any other brand as much. I found Lucky Brand in the interim and still like, but Levi's are the best 🌸 ⚘ and I loved your Paige and Re done. The grey t-shirt and gold jewelry look great.

Such a great video, Levi's are my favorite denim brand. When I was younger I use to love The Gap jeans, something happened and the quality and sizing changed so much and I just stick to Levi's now.
Here in Canada, no one ever really talks about Topshop denim. But, soooo many UK bloggers looooove them, so I made a special trip down to Topshop in Vancouver yesterday. I tried on all different styles and fell in absolute love with the Jamie jeans. Bought two pairs!!! Finding great fitting comfortable denim is hard, so I’m glad I tried Topshop!
Topshop is a British brand and many of use grew up with Topshop jeans, for most of us they were probably our first jeans as a teen so we do pay hommage to them 🙊 However, be wary as not all of their styles are good, some have so much stretch in the fabric that you end up with saggy crotch, saggy butt and saggy knees 😕
My favourite ones are Levis 501ct as well. I also buy them in 26/32 size. They are the most comfy jeans ever. I have them in about 5 colors and am absolutely addicted to them :-). Cant believe I wear the same size, when I watch your films I think you are much slimmer than me :-)

Great video..... Levi’s are my go to for denim. I also love Hudson, Paige, and Frame. Premium denim is definitely worth the investment, better quality and will last for years 👌🏽😍

Julia Troncoso Levi’s are not worth the money. Save your cash for an actual premium brand or buy a vintage pair of Levi’s- before they started being made in Asia.
I'm way too late for this. Interesting video, I feel like I'll have to look into Levi's. My favourite jeans so far are some Ralph Lauren black, high-waisted skinny jeans with white stitching. They'd been about £140, but I got them for 30 quid in the John Lewis sale a couple of years ago. I was very, very doubtful about them because I didn't think I'd like anything skinny, but they're not extremely skinny. I got them in a US 10 (UK 14?) and they are so comfy. They do have a bit of stretch so I can eat without worrying that my waist will be cut in half. I'm 5'3 and they're a perfect length for me.
I‘ve ordered 2 pairs of jeans on Asos and said to me I could only keep one, because i have so much denim. You made me keep both pairs 😂

Emma you should try freezing some of your high end denim to get rid of bacteria instead of washing them. Denim isn’t meant to be washed unless if you want to intentionally wear in some raw denim :) (I got my knowledge from a textiles course I’ve taken) / love the video though and your content 💕 I’m trying to update my wardrobe and invest more and this video really shows what investing in pieces can get someone!
Somara Son I actually barely wash my denim, it’s only if I get them dirty which having 5 dogs can happen 🙈
I have heard of the freezer trick before but it just wouldn’t be possible for me because our freezer is tiny and we have so much meat in there for the dogs that there’s never any free space 🙈

501 high rise super skinny’s are my favourite. I just wish all the Levi’s washes were created equal I find some don’t feel as thick as others. I guess it’s that way so they can cater to everyone . The key with Levi’s is to try and try and try again until you find which style and size works best for you.

Great video! I also love that real jeans-feeling when I buy jeans, and lately i've bought two pairs from Weekday! (I think they just launched in London aswell?) Great price, great quality and very good fit. Look especially for the style "way", they are similar to levis 501. Big hugs!

You should really try Madewell jeans, it's a US brand and omg they make awesome jeans, straight leg, boyfriend and all, great high quality... I literally bought 4 pairs when I was in the US! Love the video by the way 😘
I did try some on when I was shopping in the Grove in LA back in June but I wasn't a fan I'm afraid. I didn't like them enough to buy them in comparison to the other brands I wear. But it's all down to body shape and what works for some might not work for others I guess x

They all look great on you! I’ve tried a few straight leg as usually wear skinnies but most as I’m 5ft 5 are too long and don’t work well! Maybe need to find some in a shorter leg will try the Topshop ones but the Levi’s Ct looked too long on me x
Yep definitely try some of the brands that offer the different leg lengths, Topshop, ASOS etc x
Amanda Dyke Levi's will shorten their jeans for you for free in store, I believe it doesn't matter where or when you initially bought them. I had my wedgies straight shortened.

Hi Emma and Happy Easter to you from Norway. I agree with you regarding the Levis 501 skinny. I ordered a pair from the States. I sized down one sz as I always do in the 501 and the fit was perfect except around the knees and in the calves, they were very tight.(and I have long slim legs) I hope that it will give with some wear. I just ordered a pair of Levis 501 CT in my usual 501 size, witch I have not received yet, but I red your comment here that the CT comes in different styles? And then I start to worry a bit about the fit of the jeans I just ordered. I thought that CT was CT and not different styles within the CT? Can you then please tell me what kind of CT style you have in this video? Thank you.

I don't like the mango fit on you neither the denim colour! It's horrific! You are a levis denim queen...they fit you really well! I have recently tried the h&m vintage fit and i got them in every colour! love them ;)

Superb video! Thank you - the only thing is I would've really liked you showing the jeans with sneakers, since thats what I (and i assume most people) usually wear with my jeans. It would've given a more clear view of what the jeans does for your legs and bum since heels always make every kind of pants look better / more flattering. X

Love love love!! I have a question regarding finding the right jeans for me...I’d say my waist is a 10 but my legs are a 12 and I just can not find jeans to fit me at all. Either to tight or to big around the waist. Are there any brands in particular you would recommend I try, or styles. I usually always wear a skinny jean. 😘
Have you tried a straight leg, they are't as fitted on the legs so you could get away with a 10 and they maybe wouldn't be tight on your legs? Just a thought to try maybe x

How does the black Levi’s jeans wash?
I feel like after 5 washes all my black jeans are grey. 😒 I even use vinegar as “fabric softener” to preserve colour.
Also, great tip on cuffin boyfriend jeans before folding them up. Why haven’t I thought of that!? 👍🏼
PishTosh83 I used to use Dylon to bring black jeans back to life, you could try that.
The Weekday Tuesday don't seem to lose color and I've been washing them once week for six month now. I've had my fair share of black jeans and I'm positively surprised. Some of their other models are absolute crap tho
I barely wash my jeans unless they actually get dirty. You're not supposed to wash jeans like your other clothes, but if you do you should wash inside out on a cold wash. If you're washing hot that might be the reason that they're losing colour x

Emma Hill You raise a great topic: What ARE you supposed to do to jeans, to freshen them up?
I try to stretch my use quite a long time before washing them (although toothpaste seem to be DRAWN to my clothes! Maybe I should dress in the morning AFTER I've brushed my teeth! 🙈), but when "the knee situation" appears, I feel I have to wash them - if toothpaste hasn't forced me to before.
I've heard that you can pop jeans in the freezer for a day or two to freshen them up, but gotta admit, haven't tried it tho 🤔
The trick with Dylon is great. I do that every now and then
