Damn, Tom is absolutely right. The current state of French film is like that of America's film industry in the 1970s. As a native English speaker, it saddens me knowing that I will probably never experience the cinematic brilliance like the Americans had in the 70s, being that I can't speak French. Good for the French however! Wish I could experience their current renaissance of movies!
