Watched "Breakfast on Pluto" the other day and I just can't believe that he didn't win an Oscar or at least the nomination for it. He was phenomenal as Patricia kitten. I couldn't believe my eyes that how well he managed to portray a trans woman which is completely opposite of his character Thomas Shelby. He made me believe that I was actually watching someone else, not the actor Cillian. He just transformed himself into Patricia. I would highly recommend it to everyone who is Cillian's fan...
I've enjoyed and admired Cillian Murphy for a number of years. I was immersed in Peaky Blinders before I heard others talking about it much. I've been swimming in his eyes for quite a while. As Oppenheimer, that wonderful face was there as a completely different man. What an actor!

(Also, funny thing, I've always had a thing for Italian culture and men and Irish culture and men... so I guess it's no surprise that I would fawn over these two guys. But there was a man with extraordinary eyes intrigued me and scared me at the same time. Then somewhere into the 3rd season of peaky blinder, I realized it was the same actor in both shows. Before the shows started, I thought he must be psycho, twisted and sick, but why did he look hurt... is he blind... is he going to live and love.... With all these questions, I stared watching the shows. I soon forgot all about how unusual the eyes are. Tommy Shelby took over. I love your performance, and I look forward to see more Cillian in Tommy. Btw, peaky blinder is my 1st gangster show and the last(violence gives me nightmares).

i m an old guy, and been watching sevenites films since the atual seventies lol..i remember seeing films like for example, the sundance kid i saw when it came out in seventy twoish....i saw the sting when it came o ut... i ve watched so many films from the seventies, it seems like their are thousands of brilliant films from that era...it goes on and on...along with the great actors like pacino n hackman..i remember seeing scarecrow years ago, and i feel it is a great film in a somewhat dostoevsky kind of way..that may have not gotten the recognition it deserved...but we have it, and some people recognize this film as a very good one. ps..i haven t seen recent films i stopped watching current film sisnce about 2005? my questio is should i// ? lol
Was there a chat after the viewing? Because this intro is lovely but slightly frustrating because they can't give much away. The film is incredibly and I don't know why but I couldn't get it out of my head for days, which is amazing because the plot is quite simple, not straight out of Nolan's creations or something like it. Both actors are outstanding and this is one of my top 5 performances of Pacino, for sure.
Did they ever explain why his character didn’t wear a mask most of the films? I think I read it on here or online that it was something about doing that because his eyes were wild or something I’m not sure.
