The intro was so awesome! Great video, also here’s a tip that you might find helpful The boss health bar in the btotom right glows red when the boss is enraged, and it glows as the same color when the boss gains damage reduction for something like a phase change.
Great video again, some more weapon ideas is flamarang as it's pretty neat weapon, and flare bolt is a nice mage weapon to have. Also I strongly recommend getting some aerialite now Another mod suggestion is alchemist npc (or alchemist npc lite, which i personally prefer) If you have the ore excavator mod, which is basically like a veinminer, you can also just hold down right click with platforms to place them all to make arenas much faster. With invasions like goblin army, they only attack when you have an npc nearby, similar to minecraft raids which only attack when you're near a villager. About the meteorite armour set, calamity changes a lot of vanilla things so although meteor armour removes mana cost for space gun in vanilla, calamity changes the set bonus to 33% mana cost decrease for all magic weapons instead of 0 mana for space gun. I'm looking forward to the next video, I'm sure it will be fun to watch like every other video:)

This is a bit late but heres a VERY useful shortcut if you ever want to fish. Go to the sulfurous sea and have the angler be killed by a thrasher. In calamity this gives you the golden fishing rod, with 50% fishing power (one of the best) and skips the 30 quests needed. Just move in the angler and sacrifice him, simple!
Once you beat Skeletron, go ahead and treat yourself to a nice juicy burger from the Merchant. But he only cooks them fresh if he's in a good mood. It's better than any potion in the game.
Tips: Aerialite ore can now be mined since you beat the hive mind, it is found in sky islands and can be mined with the pickaxe you have now. It can be crafted into a few _really_ good weapons for melee such as the *wind blade* and the *goldplume spear.* I don't know if you already have it, but the sky mill crafting station is needed to make all aerialite gear. You can also make an armor set called aerospec armor, which *disables fall damage* and also gives significant mobility and damage improvements. It has a little less defense than molten, but it's much better overall imo. Mobility is much more important than defense for bosses like slime god and skeletron. As others have said, the bundle of horseshoe balloons is by far the most important mobility accessory you can get in pre hardmode. In addition to fall damage immunity, it gives a quadruple jump and increases jump height. Terraspark boots are good, but there's no real mobility improvements over frostspark, just immunity to fire and lava. If you are ever curious of what weapons/armor/accessories you should have at each stage in the game, check out the class setups page on the official calamity wiki. I know you've tried to use less quality of life mods, but I cannot recommend alchemist npc lite enough. It makes it so that you can buy potions available at your stage of the game from the npcs it adds, it keeps the game balanced while reducing the need for tedious crafting.

Spoilers for video lmao Now that you’ve beaten hive mind, aerialite can be mined. It’s spawns in patches on sky islands, you’ll know it when you see it. Not only can it be made into wings, which is really good, it can also make one of the coolest weapons so far, the biome blade. To craft it, you need: Any wooden sword, 50 dirt blocks, 50 stone blocks, 10 hell stone bars and 10 aerialite bars. The way it works is that you have to stand still in a biome on a flat surface and, while holding the sword, hold right click. The sword will be attuned to the biome and get special effects. The sword can hold up to 2 attunements at once. Play around with it, see what you like. You upgrade this sword and its counterpart (which you’ll craft after another boss) throughout the entire game btw ALSO GERLAD APPRECIATION LETS GOOOO BEST EPISODE SO FAR

Hey, here are some little tips that i thought of while watching the video You really need to change the worm scarf into the brain of confusion, all you need to do is place a tombstone into the magic storage crafting station and voila, you get a core accesory that you should cling to and upgrade through out the whole journey as it gives you a dodge every few seconds that negates ALL the damage you would get. Calamity changed the meteor set bonus so it no longer gives you unlimited mana for the space gun, instead it just makes it use very, very little mana. You can craft the obsidian rose very easily, you just need to buy the jungle rose from the dryad and you're basicly good. Im kinda suprised you didnt discover that yourself Next episode you need to start of by collecting aerialite as it lets you craft very good items. Its that gray-goldish ore located on flying islands Hope these help 😁

I see that you struggle making upgrades for your accesories, remember that you have the "recipe browser", you can search there how the accesory is made, because calamity allows to craft almost every accesory for vanilla Terraria, as the "obsidian flower", I think you can craft it buying a rose from the Dryad and some obsidian. Actually I'm impressed that you killed an enraged Hive Mind, because you made the arena between a dessert, so, my boi was getting angy. You can now mine the ores that were like orange in the sky islands, that ore is called Aerialite, with that you can craft a lot of new stuff, as weapons, armors, accesories, even wings before hardmode! But for crafting with Aerialite you need to have a Sky Mill, you can find it in the sky islands chests, just remember that if you are lost with the recipes, you can put an item in the blank space that is in the top left corner, if you put an item there, the recipe browser will show you what can you craft with that item, you can put there anything you want, as ores, accesories, etc etc. Thanks for making my day with this video, incredible as always dear CJS :D

hello, im here again for some tips, first, you reforged your pickaxe to legendary, but legendary isnt the best reforge for a pickaxe, becouse the only stat that matters is speed, becouse damage will only increase it damage against enemies, and speed increases your mining speed. So the best reforge for your pickaxe, and your axe too is "light", legendary increases speeds in 10%, and light increases in 15% second tip: Now that your killed the second evil boss (hivemind), you can mine the "aerialite"... It was aways in your world, but it was "Disenchanted", what makes it unbreakable, but now its "enchanted", so you can mine it, and make you a new armor, you will need to chose between the aerialite and molten armor, becouse they both are good, but i dont know which one is better, so see their stats and chose one. also, with the aerialite bars you can make 2 swords for you, one is the aerialite sword, its good, with projectiles that drags non-boss enemies towards it, withgood damage. the other one is one of the coolest swords in the mod, the biome blade! Now you can only make the broken biome blade, but its still powerful. And this sword have a new mechanic, you can hold right click in a biome that the sword gets a diferent power depending on the biome, and click right click to swap between power slots, you only have 2 slots to choose the powers. you will understand it better when you get it.(the biomes you can get a power are the forest, your evil biome, the snow biome, jungle, and desert. i recomend forest and desert, but you should test the others before selecting your loadout of powers). last two thing you can make with aerialite, is the bundle of balloons, FINALLY!!! and an skyline wing, that lets you fly and removes fall damage, verry good, but its better to have only one of those 2 becouse you will get almost no accessory slot for deffensive or damage accessories, only for movement. Another good accessory is the "bloody worm tooth", that is pretty easy to make, it drops from the perforator, its the counterpart of the hivemind, becouse its for the other evil biome, but you can still craft it using the "Rotten Brain", that you will get from the hive mind bag, only craft it in the tinkerers workshop and equip it (i reccomend equipping it in the place of the scarf). The bloody worm tooth gives you +7 defense (thats a lot comming from a pre hardmode accessory), and +10% melee damage. And i think thats it :D also im very exited for the "different video" that is coming next week! no pression through, bye!
Because of the rework to reforging in Calamity I don't think I can get to light as I tried but it kept me on Legendary as I guess it's seen as better by the mod? But other than that, once again thank you so much for the amazing tips, I hope the different video was enjoyable to watch!
Once again, you have made an amazing video, and your skills are amazing, and nice job first trying the Hive mind! Maybe some deaths happened due to lag, or recording issues. For real tho, you are actually pretty good at Calamity for someone who hasn't completed normal terraria. You are doing great! You probably have some of the most enthusiasm out of any youtuber I watch. Also thank you for comment of the week! And as always, here are some tips and things about the video! - Your next boss should be Skeletron. Queen bee is not very useful for melee, but you should fight her at some point, maybe after Skeletron. My recomended boss list next in order to skill issue is Skeletron, Queen bee, Slime God, Wall of Flesh, Cryogen, Aquatic Scourge. I think you are most good for Skeletron but you do need to wear your boots, so maybe put them back on. - You also should go to the sky islands, as that dull orange ore is now cyan, and minable! Aerielite is a material for many good weapons and armor, but you will need a sky mill crafting station, and a lot of feathers - Explore the marble biomes around the world, and try to get the Gladiators Locket accessory, it is pretty insane. - If you do manage to kill skeletron, you will obviously want to go to the dungeon, but also the abyss. The Abyss is a biome under the Sulphuric seas. You will take your arctic diving gear, and swim down. After skeletron gets skill issued, ancient chests in there are unlocked, and can have some very good weapons, especially there is a great summon weapon! - Also you should absolutely make the Broken Biome Blade. It may be confusing how to imbue it with a biome, but stand in the biome you want. I would recomend Snow and corruption, hold down right click, and press right click to switch variations. You will learn it. I probably enjoyed this the most of any episode yet! Each one keeps getting better, and you are about half way through pre hardmode! I love your content, and you have been a successful youtuber in your first 6 months of it!

Good night CJS you can make now the cinder blooson staf with helltone, ash wood and fireblosson this replaces the laser eye summoner. *For the guns you can craft the magna cannon with granite blocks, meteorite bar, diamond and sapphire. (Shoot like a minigun with magic no ammo) *The opal striker is a counterpart has a loaded shot, i do not recommend, it is very slow but if you want to try it the recipe is marble block, meteor bar, diamond and amber. Ps: please Farming wulfrum drones for the accessory rover drive with give you a force fiel.
you just did the one thing i said i would do in every playthrough but haven't, and that was to make a trophy room lol. I like how it looks and how you also added the sign and the item next to it, i am interested in what items you put there for future bosses (also those reforges were pure skill, good job with that)
I'm a little late to the party, but from now on I'll be ranking every new CJS video until I either die or stop thinking it's funny. This video is a solid B tier. Nothing terrible, nothing amazing, just about right to start the ranking. That mom joke nearly made me put it down a tier, but I kept my cool.
Oh shi... Almost missed the new video! Anyway, here's your weekly dose of tips: 1. YES!!! THE ENCHANTED SWORD!!! But don't think you'll need him for Zenith, there's something way cooler awaits you after the Slime God. 2. Great job with killing Hive Mind! Now you can mine aerialite in the sky islands and that means few things: 2.1. You can make Broken Biom Sword. Personally, I prefer the Wind Blade, but you'll need the Biom Sword, because it upgrades up to the Yharon. 2.2. WINGS!!! Now you can make wings for yourself to fully ignore the fall damage, or... 2.3. The Bundle of Horseshoe Balloons, the absolute beast of the Pre-Hardmode movement. You need 3 different balloons (sandstorm, blizzard and cloud in the balloon), horseshoe and 3 Aerialite Bars. I highly recommend you doing this and using it with the Terraspark Boots. 3. Maybe I am wrong, but I think you can craft the Obsidian Rose in Calamity. Not sure though, maybe it's a recipe from one of my other mods. 4. Actually, Calamity nerfs Meteorite armor, so now the space gun costs 1 mana, instead of 0. Still good, I think. 5. Your hall of fame looks great! I never had an idea to use gemspark blocks, but they look so cool! Marble blocks would look good there, but what about other rooms? I think, mixed walls would look awesome. As usual, I will offer the next combination from bottom to the top: 1 layer of ebonwood walls, 1 layer of boreal wood walls, n-1 layers of palm wood walls/wallpapers, 1 layer of boreal wood walls. Like, 80% of my houses use this combination :/ 6. Looking at your hall of fame, I can assume, that the red one is made for the Perforators, right? Sadly, you can't fight them, because they are the Crimson counterpart to the Hive Mind, so you have to manually tick it in the Boss Checklist, if you want to complete pre-hardmode at 100%. 7. Old One's army is an event, that gets progressively harder during your playthrough (just like the acid rain, btw). So I can recommend you completing it after the Golem, when the ivent will be fully available for you (with it's unique final boss, who is also locked behind Golem). 8. You already can try defeat a Skeletron, for me, he is much easier than Queen Bee, because: 1) you don't need to mine the area for your arena; 2) he doesn't swarm you with small bees, dealing more damage than the boss for some reason; 3) he has much more simple attack pattern; 4) he unlocks much more useful things in dungeon. 9. So what are those things in the dungeon? So here are them: 9.1. Mechanic NPC. You can make a house in snow biom for Mechanic and Goblin, so they both shall be happy. +1 additional pylon. 9.2. Muramasa (to not be confused with Murasama) can be used in the Night's Edge recipe after the Slime God. 9.3. Cobalt Shield. He will be useful later, but you already can benefit from it just by combining it with Obsidian Skull. 9.4. Clothier NPC. Firstly, you can buy a vanity set, which will reveal you standart character clothes (maybe useful). Secondly, you can (and most likely should) buy Counter Scarf, it will allow you to dodge at the enemy attack without taking damage (even if it is a projectile). Lastly, you can buy black Black Thread and make yourself a Maid Suit!!! This is the MOST IMPORTANT part of any Calamity playthrough!!! 10. About the Gerald, I think you can switch the door on your 3rd floor and the window on the same floor with each other, so you'll have a beautiful balcony on your right. But even like that it looks cool. Yep, only 10 for now. Maybe I'll remember something during the week and will edit this comment. Also, the Christmas is coming and I have a suggestion about Christmas video (if you don't have any for now). There's a game called PAYDAY, and there's a whole album of Christmas songs, made specially for this game. They shouldn't be copyrighted (I think), and there are 7 of them. @@_CJS I think this wall combination will look good on the second floor, because it looks a little boring with normal wood walls. But if you want to leave Gerald as originally planned, you can use it for other house in Tundra biom. I'm not sure about Perforators... As far as I remember their summoning item crafts from the drop from Perforators itself and you can't just transmutate Hive Mind's drop to Perforators (unlike Eater of Worlds' and Brain's drops). If you still want to fight it, you can cheat his summon item in, but I don't know if he will flee from you when he is not in Crimson. Sorry, I don't have any other advices about Perforators. Don't worry, Christmas video was great! That was very unusual idea and I enjoyed watching it!
You can shimmer one of the drops from hell based enemies to get the obsidian rose (I don’t recall which), but you can also craft it, too. I think the base item for it is the jungle rose that the dryad sells.

Alright! As a builder I hope you don't mind giving you some suggestions on your relic room :3 Alright. I LOVE trophy rooms and how people make them! Yours is no exception! I love it so much! Although my suggestion is- I know you like gem blocks but I suggest trying to use the blocks that fit the boss. Ex. Slime Blocks and Walls for King Slime Sandstone Blocks and Walls for Dessert Scourge Blocks from the Sunken Sea for the Giant Clam Corruption Blocks for both EoW and Hive Mind And gor Eye of Cthulu... Idk it really depends. Preferably I choose grass and dirt walls because for some odd reason I connect the EoC to the Forest. Also for the item frames! If you still have the lore items for the bosses maybe try and put them there..? I also suggest reading the lore It's very intriguing :3 Although mini bosses like Giant Clam I don't think they have a lore item. You can use like a drop from it or smth. Anyways that's all! I wish you good luck on future episodes :3

A great day for such accomplishments and exploration. This calls for another pouring of my chalice. But first, some set dressing. The skies above your world begin to appear a little brighter after the triumphant victories in the dreaded Corruption. The blight born of a once long dead god returned to life has become your latest stepping stone, quashing that which demands divine power from faith and devotion alone. Now the clouds above glisten a cyan light, the golden metal now lightened and laced with ancient power not seen for centuries. Perhaps this metal can be used to your benefit as you unveil the reality of what this cruel world had become. As you consult this idea, here is your divination of Help and Humor. 1. As mentioned, the gold metal in the clouds is now at your disposal. Perhaps some of its equipment can be of use to you, offering range and utility for a variety of situations. However, they are absolutely needed when they provide access to two quintessential accessories. Either the ability to bundle the balloons of BWY together along with a golden horseshoe to get three jumps, or a pair of grouped feathers so that you can fly high and reach the highest of heavens. There is an armor set of it too, but which one between that and the Molten Armor to wear is your choice. Either way, you're hard as nails and it ain't hard to tell. 2. Ah, so you got the Obsidian Rose woes. Alas, those imps hardly know what love is. Luckily, there is another similarly red rose that you can make into one with some obsidian and i believe some lava. Talk to your nature loving tenant in your Mahogany Jungle House to get one. She won't take it the wrong way. 3. With Gerald upgraded, now is the perfect time to upgrade Maria (if you decide to name your Magic Storage, I had this name in the back of my mind. Why Maria? Eh, you'll find the answer eventually.) I mentioned a specific beach ball like item that can help you craft items from specific locations, but never its name. Fear not, for even Sisyphus would first dread the concept of such an item upon hearing its name. It contains the frigid touch of the Tundra, the afterlife connection of Ecto Mist, the cozy warmth of a fireplace, the monster calling altar of the shadows, and the combined domains of a bee's treasure, a molten liquid, and that which is wet. It's amazingly light to throw and has all the complexity of a Picasso Painting. It's Spherical! SPHEARICAL! It's the BIOME GLOBE! (sidenote, making an artificial demon altar requires you to be at one in the first place. A tricky step usually forgotten about.) 4. R.I.P to Woffle, he was beloved and shall be missed. However, if the gremlin army comes knocking once again because they heard *IT'S HAPPY HOUR!*, here's your equivalent of a fire drill. Warp home, barricade the outermost doors with one block right next to them and block any platforms that lead in. The only ones who could get in at that point are the sorcerers, but they only aim directly at you. You can also stand a good distance away from your home to misdirect the main army to keep away from town. Don't worry Captain. Time will buff out those scratches. 5. With access to a new material comes the tale of two swords (or three but one comes later on to the party.) A rather tall, sometimes humorous, but ever faithful woman talked about walking the way of the broken sword, and there is one that will put you on the path to making it whole. And it all starts with this, a sword containing the ultimate power. *WOOD*. It can channel the land itself and awaken to separate possibilities depending one what domain it intakes. Only capable of holding two at once and being able to switch between them, you can channel the pure nature of the forest, the biting chill of the tundra, the vampiric retort of the shadowlands, the sprawling life of the jungle, or the arid fury of the desert. But a sword of such grandeur does not stand alone in its prestige, for the Iconic sword symbolic of Terraria's elements and cleaving arm of the night itself is another coveted blade for every warrior's arsenal. However, one big slimy coward prevents its assembly so focus on the ingredients first for now. 6. Don't forget to expand your towns to other regions. All of the major biomes are on the table, even the Sulphur Sea and the Underworld which seem the farthest away from a cozy home have some preference to a couple of residents. A happy denizen means lower prices for their wares and more pylons for travel. 7. With meteorite, you can now access one of the greatest examples of convenience ever thought up with your magic storge. What if... you can bring your storage and your crafting interface with you? Well, bust out that Gameboy and get geared up with PORTABLE POWER! 8. Goblin Tinkerer had to make a compromise in his greedy reforges. Someone gave him a peace of their mind and forced him to change... somewhat. Hey, I know me a greedy crustacean and trust me, this is just the type of thing greedy characters sometimes do. The forges are on a fixed cycle, which gives you the best reforge after 5 or 6 reforges for weapons and in a cycle after 4 with accessories. 9. If you are willing to take a risky plunge into the depths of the Sea, there is a weapon you can pick up... or rather scavenge from there. Specifically, a particular fish that swims in the murky depths of the Abyss. If you're worried about burning alive in the Sulphur waters, consider crafting an effigy with those scales you picked up in the acid rain. They cover a wide area and water breathing. Of course, be sure to get diving gear for the trip to. No sane man would just dive into the abyss with no diving gear. (Wait, the Sea King provides you infinite water breathing down there by just talking to him? That lasts for minutes? As long as you don't get hit?!) 10. In terms of "on the side" damage, there's really nothing else I can offer. From here, consider if others work more depending on the boss. The chalice really... ran on empty there. I really did what I could to fill 10 cups of informatic comedy for you to sink your mind into, but better than none. When I don't show up, don't criticize. I'm just thinking through my own logic. I bet if CJS dies to Skeletron hes going to say something like: "Man Skeletron just blew out my skeletrons out of me... oh that was so bad. Like and subscribe to CJS. Here are some tips: Find the shimmer, it can be found on the same side as the jungle and it is under the ocean so you might need to dig alot, you will notice when your backround has changed and you see purple liquid or tunnels leading to it, if you throw an item like spectre boots it will uncraft it self, you can also throw items like a life crystal, mana crystal, any type of fruit, peddlers hat and etc which will give you a permanent boost to your stats, I do suggest getting the underground pylon and building houses here so you can easily get there. Once you beat Skeletron the clothier will move in so you can get the counter scarf which will give you 10% true melee damage and a better dash than the shield of cthulhu, it also gives you a chance to dodge attacks, you also dont have to worry about hitting a enemy and just getting stuck and the enemy just destroying you. Lastly you can upgrade it in early harmode. Speaking of hardmode demonite alters will now just give souls of night and when you enter hardmode you will only have cobalt and palladium so to get the other ores you have to defeat a mechanical boss to get the other 2 ores than another mechanical boss to get the last 2. Each mechanical boss gets harder once you defeat another mechanical boss so if you do skeletron prime last its gonna be hard. Also once you beat Slime God get the nights edge since it will pair well with the counter scarf. In early hardmode I 100% suggest the Caustic Edge since it has a good range attack. Also the only good melee armor right when you get into hardmode is cobalt or palladium, but im pretty sure palladium is better. Throw in 5 guide voodoo dolls into the lava all at once since calamity did a surprise for that. Legendary isnt the best reforge for tools, its light because it mines even faster. Craft the imp staff since it should be better than your eye summon or whatever it is. Craft the code breaker base and put it maybe on a arena and this will be super important once you almost beat calamity (that's if you do), this can be upgraded at different points of progression and can decrypt encrypted schematic like the jungle one that you get from certain labs in different biomes, once you upgraded it once it can decrypt a certain encrypted schematic like a ice one when you upgrade it 4 times, once you decrypt one of them you will be able to craft the next upgrade if you have the resources, and you need draedon power cells to decrypt as well, you don't have to do this but it might just save time for the future (if you get there of course). And CJS you are probably my most favorite youtuber and I hope to see your channel grow alot, so keep it up and this, and what small youtuber goes to the beach or sits in a trash can for an intro? Only you, and this, is the CJS channel.

Great video again, some more weapon ideas is flamarang as it's pretty neat weapon, and flare bolt is a nice mage weapon to have.
Also I strongly recommend getting some aerialite now
Another mod suggestion is alchemist npc (or alchemist npc lite, which i personally prefer)
If you have the ore excavator mod, which is basically like a veinminer, you can also just hold down right click with platforms to place them all to make arenas much faster.
With invasions like goblin army, they only attack when you have an npc nearby, similar to minecraft raids which only attack when you're near a villager.
About the meteorite armour set, calamity changes a lot of vanilla things so although meteor armour removes mana cost for space gun in vanilla, calamity changes the set bonus to 33% mana cost decrease for all magic weapons instead of 0 mana for space gun.
I'm looking forward to the next video, I'm sure it will be fun to watch like every other video:)

This is a bit late but heres a VERY useful shortcut if you ever want to fish. Go to the sulfurous sea and have the angler be killed by a thrasher. In calamity this gives you the golden fishing rod, with 50% fishing power (one of the best) and skips the 30 quests needed. Just move in the angler and sacrifice him, simple!
Once you beat Skeletron, go ahead and treat yourself to a nice juicy burger from the Merchant. But he only cooks them fresh if he's in a good mood. It's better than any potion in the game.
Tips:
Aerialite ore can now be mined since you beat the hive mind, it is found in sky islands and can be mined with the pickaxe you have now. It can be crafted into a few _really_ good weapons for melee such as the *wind blade* and the *goldplume spear.* I don't know if you already have it, but the sky mill crafting station is needed to make all aerialite gear. You can also make an armor set called aerospec armor, which *disables fall damage* and also gives significant mobility and damage improvements. It has a little less defense than molten, but it's much better overall imo. Mobility is much more important than defense for bosses like slime god and skeletron.
As others have said, the bundle of horseshoe balloons is by far the most important mobility accessory you can get in pre hardmode. In addition to fall damage immunity, it gives a quadruple jump and increases jump height. Terraspark boots are good, but there's no real mobility improvements over frostspark, just immunity to fire and lava.
If you are ever curious of what weapons/armor/accessories you should have at each stage in the game, check out the class setups page on the official calamity wiki.
I know you've tried to use less quality of life mods, but I cannot recommend alchemist npc lite enough. It makes it so that you can buy potions available at your stage of the game from the npcs it adds, it keeps the game balanced while reducing the need for tedious crafting.

Edit: Not so beginner friendly, but funny. What about you switch classes each stage of the game ? For example, pre-hardmode you’re melee, in hardmode you’re summoner, post moon-lord you’re rogue, and endgame you’re a ranger. You can rearrange or change the classes you want to be in each stage of the game if you’d want, as it was just an example of how it would work.
Edit No.2: Holy schmoly, just remembered. Make sure to get yourself the Volcano, Blade of Grass, Light Bane and Muramasa for the Night’s Edge.

Now that you’ve beaten hive mind, aerialite can be mined. It’s spawns in patches on sky islands, you’ll know it when you see it. Not only can it be made into wings, which is really good, it can also make one of the coolest weapons so far, the biome blade. To craft it, you need:
Any wooden sword, 50 dirt blocks, 50 stone blocks, 10 hell stone bars and 10 aerialite bars. The way it works is that you have to stand still in a biome on a flat surface and, while holding the sword, hold right click. The sword will be attuned to the biome and get special effects. The sword can hold up to 2 attunements at once. Play around with it, see what you like. You upgrade this sword and its counterpart (which you’ll craft after another boss) throughout the entire game btw

Once you bet sleletron (i think) you get an npc called the bandit and if you use the refund feature you get most of the money you spent on reforging back for free

Hey, here are some little tips that i thought of while watching the video
You really need to change the worm scarf into the brain of confusion, all you need to do is place a tombstone into the magic storage crafting station and voila, you get a core accesory that you should cling to and upgrade through out the whole journey as it gives you a dodge every few seconds that negates ALL the damage you would get.
Calamity changed the meteor set bonus so it no longer gives you unlimited mana for the space gun, instead it just makes it use very, very little mana.
You can craft the obsidian rose very easily, you just need to buy the jungle rose from the dryad and you're basicly good. Im kinda suprised you didnt discover that yourself
Next episode you need to start of by collecting aerialite as it lets you craft very good items. Its that gray-goldish ore located on flying islands

I see that you struggle making upgrades for your accesories, remember that you have the "recipe browser", you can search there how the accesory is made, because calamity allows to craft almost every accesory for vanilla Terraria, as the "obsidian flower", I think you can craft it buying a rose from the Dryad and some obsidian.
Actually I'm impressed that you killed an enraged Hive Mind, because you made the arena between a dessert, so, my boi was getting angy.
You can now mine the ores that were like orange in the sky islands, that ore is called Aerialite, with that you can craft a lot of new stuff, as weapons, armors, accesories, even wings before hardmode! But for crafting with Aerialite you need to have a Sky Mill, you can find it in the sky islands chests, just remember that if you are lost with the recipes, you can put an item in the blank space that is in the top left corner, if you put an item there, the recipe browser will show you what can you craft with that item, you can put there anything you want, as ores, accesories, etc etc.

hello, im here again for some tips,
first, you reforged your pickaxe to legendary, but legendary isnt the best reforge for a pickaxe, becouse the only stat that matters is speed, becouse damage will only increase it damage against enemies, and speed increases your mining speed. So the best reforge for your pickaxe, and your axe too is "light", legendary increases speeds in 10%, and light increases in 15%
second tip: Now that your killed the second evil boss (hivemind), you can mine the "aerialite"... It was aways in your world, but it was "Disenchanted", what makes it unbreakable, but now its "enchanted", so you can mine it, and make you a new armor, you will need to chose between the aerialite and molten armor, becouse they both are good, but i dont know which one is better, so see their stats and chose one.
also, with the aerialite bars you can make 2 swords for you, one is the aerialite sword, its good, with projectiles that drags non-boss enemies towards it, withgood damage.
the other one is one of the coolest swords in the mod, the biome blade! Now you can only make the broken biome blade, but its still powerful. And this sword have a new mechanic, you can hold right click in a biome that the sword gets a diferent power depending on the biome, and click right click to swap between power slots, you only have 2 slots to choose the powers. you will understand it better when you get it.(the biomes you can get a power are the forest, your evil biome, the snow biome, jungle, and desert. i recomend forest and desert, but you should test the others before selecting your loadout of powers).
last two thing you can make with aerialite, is the bundle of balloons, FINALLY!!! and an skyline wing, that lets you fly and removes fall damage, verry good, but its better to have only one of those 2 becouse you will get almost no accessory slot for deffensive or damage accessories, only for movement.
Another good accessory is the "bloody worm tooth", that is pretty easy to make, it drops from the perforator, its the counterpart of the hivemind, becouse its for the other evil biome, but you can still craft it using the "Rotten Brain", that you will get from the hive mind bag, only craft it in the tinkerers workshop and equip it (i reccomend equipping it in the place of the scarf). The bloody worm tooth gives you +7 defense (thats a lot comming from a pre hardmode accessory), and +10% melee damage.
And i think thats it :D

- Your next boss should be Skeletron. Queen bee is not very useful for melee, but you should fight her at some point, maybe after Skeletron. My recomended boss list next in order to skill issue is Skeletron, Queen bee, Slime God, Wall of Flesh, Cryogen, Aquatic Scourge. I think you are most good for Skeletron but you do need to wear your boots, so maybe put them back on.
- You also should go to the sky islands, as that dull orange ore is now cyan, and minable! Aerielite is a material for many good weapons and armor, but you will need a sky mill crafting station, and a lot of feathers
- Explore the marble biomes around the world, and try to get the Gladiators Locket accessory, it is pretty insane.
- If you do manage to kill skeletron, you will obviously want to go to the dungeon, but also the abyss. The Abyss is a biome under the Sulphuric seas. You will take your arctic diving gear, and swim down. After skeletron gets skill issued, ancient chests in there are unlocked, and can have some very good weapons, especially there is a great summon weapon!
- Also you should absolutely make the Broken Biome Blade. It may be confusing how to imbue it with a biome, but stand in the biome you want. I would recomend Snow and corruption, hold down right click, and press right click to switch variations. You will learn it.
I probably enjoyed this the most of any episode yet! Each one keeps getting better, and you are about half way through pre hardmode! I love your content, and you have been a successful youtuber in your first 6 months of it!

Good night CJS you can make now the cinder blooson staf with helltone, ash wood and fireblosson this replaces the laser eye summoner. *For the guns you can craft the magna cannon with granite blocks, meteorite bar, diamond and sapphire. (Shoot like a minigun with magic no ammo) *The opal striker is a counterpart has a loaded shot, i do not recommend, it is very slow but if you want to try it the recipe is marble block, meteor bar, diamond and amber. Ps: please Farming wulfrum drones for the accessory rover drive with give you a force fiel.

Anyway, here's your weekly dose of tips:
1. YES!!! THE ENCHANTED SWORD!!! But don't think you'll need him for Zenith, there's something way cooler awaits you after the Slime God.
2. Great job with killing Hive Mind! Now you can mine aerialite in the sky islands and that means few things:
2.1. You can make Broken Biom Sword. Personally, I prefer the Wind Blade, but you'll need the Biom Sword, because it upgrades up to the Yharon.
2.2. WINGS!!! Now you can make wings for yourself to fully ignore the fall damage, or...
2.3. The Bundle of Horseshoe Balloons, the absolute beast of the Pre-Hardmode movement. You need 3 different balloons (sandstorm, blizzard and cloud in the balloon), horseshoe and 3 Aerialite Bars. I highly recommend you doing this and using it with the Terraspark Boots.
3. Maybe I am wrong, but I think you can craft the Obsidian Rose in Calamity. Not sure though, maybe it's a recipe from one of my other mods.
4. Actually, Calamity nerfs Meteorite armor, so now the space gun costs 1 mana, instead of 0. Still good, I think.
5. Your hall of fame looks great! I never had an idea to use gemspark blocks, but they look so cool! Marble blocks would look good there, but what about other rooms? I think, mixed walls would look awesome. As usual, I will offer the next combination from bottom to the top: 1 layer of ebonwood walls, 1 layer of boreal wood walls, n-1 layers of palm wood walls/wallpapers, 1 layer of boreal wood walls. Like, 80% of my houses use this combination :/
6. Looking at your hall of fame, I can assume, that the red one is made for the Perforators, right? Sadly, you can't fight them, because they are the Crimson counterpart to the Hive Mind, so you have to manually tick it in the Boss Checklist, if you want to complete pre-hardmode at 100%.
7. Old One's army is an event, that gets progressively harder during your playthrough (just like the acid rain, btw). So I can recommend you completing it after the Golem, when the ivent will be fully available for you (with it's unique final boss, who is also locked behind Golem).
8. You already can try defeat a Skeletron, for me, he is much easier than Queen Bee, because: 1) you don't need to mine the area for your arena; 2) he doesn't swarm you with small bees, dealing more damage than the boss for some reason; 3) he has much more simple attack pattern; 4) he unlocks much more useful things in dungeon.
9. So what are those things in the dungeon? So here are them:
9.1. Mechanic NPC. You can make a house in snow biom for Mechanic and Goblin, so they both shall be happy. +1 additional pylon.
9.2. Muramasa (to not be confused with Murasama) can be used in the Night's Edge recipe after the Slime God.
9.3. Cobalt Shield. He will be useful later, but you already can benefit from it just by combining it with Obsidian Skull.
9.4. Clothier NPC. Firstly, you can buy a vanity set, which will reveal you standart character clothes (maybe useful). Secondly, you can (and most likely should) buy Counter Scarf, it will allow you to dodge at the enemy attack without taking damage (even if it is a projectile). Lastly, you can buy black Black Thread and make yourself a Maid Suit!!! This is the MOST IMPORTANT part of any Calamity playthrough!!!
10. About the Gerald, I think you can switch the door on your 3rd floor and the window on the same floor with each other, so you'll have a beautiful balcony on your right. But even like that it looks cool.

Also, the Christmas is coming and I have a suggestion about Christmas video (if you don't have any for now). @@_CJS I think this wall combination will look good on the second floor, because it looks a little boring with normal wood walls. But if you want to leave Gerald as originally planned, you can use it for other house in Tundra biom.
I'm not sure about Perforators... As far as I remember their summoning item crafts from the drop from Perforators itself and you can't just transmutate Hive Mind's drop to Perforators (unlike Eater of Worlds' and Brain's drops). If you still want to fight it, you can cheat his summon item in, but I don't know if he will flee from you when he is not in Crimson. Sorry, I don't have any other advices about Perforators.

You can shimmer one of the drops from hell based enemies to get the obsidian rose (I don’t recall which), but you can also craft it, too. I think the base item for it is the jungle rose that the dryad sells.

Alright. I LOVE trophy rooms and how people make them! Yours is no exception! I love it so much! Although my suggestion is- I know you like gem blocks but I suggest trying to use the blocks that fit the boss.
Ex.
Slime Blocks and Walls for King Slime
Sandstone Blocks and Walls for Dessert Scourge
Blocks from the Sunken Sea for the Giant Clam
Corruption Blocks for both EoW and Hive Mind
And gor Eye of Cthulu... Idk it really depends. Preferably I choose grass and dirt walls because for some odd reason I connect the EoC to the Forest.
Also for the item frames! If you still have the lore items for the bosses maybe try and put them there..?
I also suggest reading the lore It's very intriguing :3
Although mini bosses like Giant Clam I don't think they have a lore item. You can use like a drop from it or smth.

The Obsidian Rose can be crafted. Just buy a Jungle Rose from the Dryad and slap some molten materials on it.
A great day for such accomplishments and exploration. This calls for another pouring of my chalice. But first, some set dressing.
The skies above your world begin to appear a little brighter after the triumphant victories in the dreaded Corruption. The blight born of a once long dead god returned to life has become your latest stepping stone, quashing that which demands divine power from faith and devotion alone. Now the clouds above glisten a cyan light, the golden metal now lightened and laced with ancient power not seen for centuries. Perhaps this metal can be used to your benefit as you unveil the reality of what this cruel world had become.
As you consult this idea, here is your divination of Help and Humor.
1. As mentioned, the gold metal in the clouds is now at your disposal. Perhaps some of its equipment can be of use to you, offering range and utility for a variety of situations. However, they are absolutely needed when they provide access to two quintessential accessories. Either the ability to bundle the balloons of BWY together along with a golden horseshoe to get three jumps, or a pair of grouped feathers so that you can fly high and reach the highest of heavens. There is an armor set of it too, but which one between that and the Molten Armor to wear is your choice. Either way, you're hard as nails and it ain't hard to tell.
2. Ah, so you got the Obsidian Rose woes. Alas, those imps hardly know what love is. Luckily, there is another similarly red rose that you can make into one with some obsidian and i believe some lava. Talk to your nature loving tenant in your Mahogany Jungle House to get one. She won't take it the wrong way.
3. With Gerald upgraded, now is the perfect time to upgrade Maria (if you decide to name your Magic Storage, I had this name in the back of my mind. Why Maria? Eh, you'll find the answer eventually.) I mentioned a specific beach ball like item that can help you craft items from specific locations, but never its name. Fear not, for even Sisyphus would first dread the concept of such an item upon hearing its name. It contains the frigid touch of the Tundra, the afterlife connection of Ecto Mist, the cozy warmth of a fireplace, the monster calling altar of the shadows, and the combined domains of a bee's treasure, a molten liquid, and that which is wet. It's amazingly light to throw and has all the complexity of a Picasso Painting. It's Spherical! SPHEARICAL! It's the BIOME GLOBE! (sidenote, making an artificial demon altar requires you to be at one in the first place. A tricky step usually forgotten about.)
4. R.I.P to Woffle, he was beloved and shall be missed. However, if the gremlin army comes knocking once again because they heard *IT'S HAPPY HOUR!*, here's your equivalent of a fire drill. Warp home, barricade the outermost doors with one block right next to them and block any platforms that lead in. The only ones who could get in at that point are the sorcerers, but they only aim directly at you. You can also stand a good distance away from your home to misdirect the main army to keep away from town. Don't worry Captain. Time will buff out those scratches.
5. With access to a new material comes the tale of two swords (or three but one comes later on to the party.) A rather tall, sometimes humorous, but ever faithful woman talked about walking the way of the broken sword, and there is one that will put you on the path to making it whole. And it all starts with this, a sword containing the ultimate power. *WOOD*. It can channel the land itself and awaken to separate possibilities depending one what domain it intakes. Only capable of holding two at once and being able to switch between them, you can channel the pure nature of the forest, the biting chill of the tundra, the vampiric retort of the shadowlands, the sprawling life of the jungle, or the arid fury of the desert. But a sword of such grandeur does not stand alone in its prestige, for the Iconic sword symbolic of Terraria's elements and cleaving arm of the night itself is another coveted blade for every warrior's arsenal. However, one big slimy coward prevents its assembly so focus on the ingredients first for now.
6. Don't forget to expand your towns to other regions. All of the major biomes are on the table, even the Sulphur Sea and the Underworld which seem the farthest away from a cozy home have some preference to a couple of residents. A happy denizen means lower prices for their wares and more pylons for travel.
7. With meteorite, you can now access one of the greatest examples of convenience ever thought up with your magic storge. What if... you can bring your storage and your crafting interface with you? Well, bust out that Gameboy and get geared up with PORTABLE POWER!
8. Goblin Tinkerer had to make a compromise in his greedy reforges. Someone gave him a peace of their mind and forced him to change... somewhat. Hey, I know me a greedy crustacean and trust me, this is just the type of thing greedy characters sometimes do. The forges are on a fixed cycle, which gives you the best reforge after 5 or 6 reforges for weapons and in a cycle after 4 with accessories.
9. If you are willing to take a risky plunge into the depths of the Sea, there is a weapon you can pick up... or rather scavenge from there. Specifically, a particular fish that swims in the murky depths of the Abyss. If you're worried about burning alive in the Sulphur waters, consider crafting an effigy with those scales you picked up in the acid rain. They cover a wide area and water breathing. Of course, be sure to get diving gear for the trip to. No sane man would just dive into the abyss with no diving gear. (Wait, the Sea King provides you infinite water breathing down there by just talking to him? That lasts for minutes? As long as you don't get hit?!)
10. In terms of "on the side" damage, there's really nothing else I can offer. From here, consider if others work more depending on the boss.
The chalice really... ran on empty there. I really did what I could to fill 10 cups of informatic comedy for you to sink your mind into, but better than none. When I don't show up, don't criticize. I'm just thinking through my own logic. But if one thing's for sure, I won't give in or compromise. I will always deliver. Time for your messenger to prepare another chalice, may fortune favor you and arm yourself with knowledge.

Here are some tips:
Find the shimmer, it can be found on the same side as the jungle and it is under the ocean so you might need to dig alot, you will notice when your backround has changed and you see purple liquid or tunnels leading to it, if you throw an item like spectre boots it will uncraft it self, you can also throw items like a life crystal, mana crystal, any type of fruit, peddlers hat and etc which will give you a permanent boost to your stats, I do suggest getting the underground pylon and building houses here so you can easily get there.
Once you beat Skeletron the clothier will move in so you can get the counter scarf which will give you 10% true melee damage and a better dash than the shield of cthulhu, it also gives you a chance to dodge attacks, you also dont have to worry about hitting a enemy and just getting stuck and the enemy just destroying you. Lastly you can upgrade it in early harmode.
Speaking of hardmode demonite alters will now just give souls of night and when you enter hardmode you will only have cobalt and palladium so to get the other ores you have to defeat a mechanical boss to get the other 2 ores than another mechanical boss to get the last 2. Each mechanical boss gets harder once you defeat another mechanical boss so if you do skeletron prime last its gonna be hard.
Also once you beat Slime God get the nights edge since it will pair well with the counter scarf.
In early hardmode I 100% suggest the Caustic Edge since it has a good range attack. Also the only good melee armor right when you get into hardmode is cobalt or palladium, but im pretty sure palladium is better.
Throw in 5 guide voodoo dolls into the lava all at once since calamity did a surprise for that.
Legendary isnt the best reforge for tools, its light because it mines even faster.
Craft the imp staff since it should be better than your eye summon or whatever it is.
Craft the code breaker base and put it maybe on a arena and this will be super important once you almost beat calamity (that's if you do), this can be upgraded at different points of progression and can decrypt encrypted schematic like the jungle one that you get from certain labs in different biomes, once you upgraded it once it can decrypt a certain encrypted schematic like a ice one when you upgrade it 4 times, once you decrypt one of them you will be able to craft the next upgrade if you have the resources, and you need draedon power cells to decrypt as well, you don't have to do this but it might just save time for the future (if you get there of course).
And CJS you are probably my most favorite youtuber and I hope to see your channel grow alot, so keep it up and this, and what small youtuber goes to the beach or sits in a trash can for an intro? Only you, and this, is the CJS channel.

*Well, as that took me way too long, choice is urs, for the future, should I type all of that (accesories etc) or should I just do melee suggestions, but for the other classes just do a list of cool weapons, considering u will only use melee armor and melee accs, I think I should only do a full melee suggestion + list of cool weapons from other classes without armors and accs of other classes, as I spent way too much time for that (1.5-2h in total to write whole this message) waiting for ur opinion about that and what shall I do next time

For the future, I think just suggesting melee with cool weapons/items in other classes would be best as I don't expect you to spend that long on a comment, but just seeing that has really helped me out!
