    My favorite is the heat action when you're on a bridge and he just hucks them over the edge for an OHKO.

    I like to use Rush Style if no Heat Triggers are around because you get a chance to stun the enemies, and a stunned enemie can always be the target of a Heat action. Also use the Heat action from behind, because it also does more damage.

    For brawler when your close to an specific area, object or ledge it should heat action instead of proximity bonus on the top

      Or if you played literally any brawler games then you know hoe to trigger them its really eady and brawler is easily the best style

    The Heat action thing for kiryu in this game is a bit tricky most of the times. It does like need to go near an opponent first and seeing the top part of the attack if it changes to "Heat Action" for it to do the animation to do it. The first time i encountered his actions was near the bridge in hawaii near the substory about the movie stuntman and he did like the yakuza K2 thing that he throws them off the side of the bridge into water and completely deleted them even at full health. and this lets me think that how many heat action interactions does he have in this game.

      I've done 1 heat action in my 80 hours of gametime. It awesome they put so much effort into something cool thst you could totally miss.

      @@purplatypus7405 yeah. its rarely happens and it can be miss depending if players change kiryu`s job on their playthroughs. and god knows how many heat actions the devs put into his job even im trying to find out how many. but the AI is mostly trolling unto open spaces. so far ive seen like 3 so far.
      1. the bridge delete heat action
      2. he smashes their heads unto a curve with his fist
      3. he throws his opponents with their legs spread onto a pole and makes you cringe with how devastating it does to a mans balls

      The majority of the heat actions are bound to stunned opponents. Other than those he has the ledge insta-kill one that you mentioned, stand-crush (be near a low obstacle), and the one where you're near a pole.
      But the stun heat actions are easily the best ones outside of the ledge insta-kill one. Most of them will do damage to other enemies as well.

    One thing I think you forgot to mention: the Beast Style is stated to increase the Attack and Defence, but decrease Agility. So the Guard Break is not its only benefit, but it's also one of the best ways to easily increase your Basic Attacks and Skills. I'm pretty certain this is true in the game, but please do investigate.

    And you know, I kinda like it.

    Stacking attack damage and then beast shielding(at max) can get you an insane amount of damage with resurgence, I got 14.6k on lvl 67 and I got 17k with a lot of misses at lvl 89. He's so busted and I thought he was weak early game because I didn't realize you have to be close to enemies to deal damage until the finale lmfao. I glossed over the tutorial and didn't want to search google for guides to avoid spoilers + the help menu was buried too deep, and now he's just the perfect guy to skip the dungeon bosses on level and farm the living hell out of it.

    skipping turn with beast style then getting warcry(i am not sure if warcry just caps out the boost received from beast style but it does feel like you do more damage) on top of it deals a lot of damage if you do a back attack with brawler style, a lot of setup but it's crazy

    10:36 can you do a video talking about Itchyban Sujimon at level 99? Is it still good or best class for him?

  • @notsoy
    @notsoy 6 месяцев назад +2

    Level 2 Beast upgrade lets him use motorcycles, electrical transformer boxes, and other objects of similar size. This is what Beast did in Yakuza 0 and every subsequent game it could be used in, but in this combat system, it's much more niche
    One other key aspect of DoD is that you can only use Combo Attacks (the auto-attacks where a party member assists) while in the Brawler style, so later in the game you will probably stick with that one more often since Combo Attacks let both party members regen MP from that attack

  • @mtgjuice6333
    @mtgjuice6333 6 месяцев назад +1

    As much as I will forever use DoD and will never switch because it feels wrong, it really is not the best class for Kiryu. Maybe, if you play him as a tank, it could work, but there is little reason to use a tank in this game, and he is best used as a physical attacker.
    The main problems Dojima faces is that it lacks a weapon to put seals on, it lacks high damage magical attacks outside of fire, it can't get past physical resistances, and it has little buff/debuff and ailment potential due to the aforementioned lack of seals. Sure, basic brawler attacks hit like a truck at max level, and when you pair it with Dragon's Resurgence, he becomes formidable. But, Aquanaut does a better job than Dojima. Ultimate Armor ignores resistances, it has water and lightning nukes, he can support the team with some healing skills, he can debuff Ice resistance, which pairs absolutely amazingly with Housekeeper, even more so if the enemy is weak to ice.
    And even then, Zhao can casually outdamage him, ignoring resistances with his ultimate weapon, being the only party member who can debuff Accuracy (when paired with Ukulele Strum, this becomes overpowered), most of his skills can debuff, and more easily because of seals and he has fire coverage.

      he definitely does with maxed out weapons. that's literally the downside to kiryru. he feels op because he doesn't need upgrades. his damage auto scales to his level every time. so until you get better weapons kiryu just feels the best to play. once you actually start upgrading weapons is when he falls off
