Buddy is so going to take over this channel and become a great cook like his dad
@Tyrese Pascoe or it could be that you just have bad taste......hmmmm
thank you ! I just cooked this, it blew my mind away, I woulld never ever buy a pasta sauce any more, this is the best I have ever tasted in pasta!!!! unbelievable. ! I even called one of my friends to taste it when I have some left over, cause it is too good that I have to share it!
Glad to see Buddy again. We've been missing him for a few weeks
Loved having the fam walk in.. Thats my life!!!
Don't ever show this to Gino d'Acampo - he's going to have a heart attack.
Lol
We can only hope
kaizoebara he did say British, my worry there was no salt and pepper
LOL
He’s anglicised now he wouldn’t care 😀
Buddy bolognese... omg that little one is soooo adorable ❤

This is creativity in transforming Lasagna slices into another beautiful shape 😍
And this bolognese sauce can be eaten alone with bread❤️
I remember Naked Chef when you was a lean hipster, and now beer sauce with the Von trapp's
Cheers J
Guaranteed way to make an Italian cry: tell them Brits serve lasagne with chips.
Just show them any food that they didnt personally cook and they cry and moan its all wrong!
🤣❤️😄☺️
Italian here and I'd definitely eat this! Looks delicious
I made it today for our lunch. I just innovated a little: I put some nice Portuguese olive oil in a frying pan, roasted a clove of garlic and put the dough around it. What a treat from the gods! Thanks Jamie for so many nice food you share!
I just love the way they say tomatoes 🍅 thank you!
Bolognese sauce is one of my favorite things... I make giant batches and can them... after processing in the water bath canner for 3.5 hours the sauce is so amazingly tender and flavourful! So great to have home made sauce in jars in the pantry ready to be used for a quick dinner anytime! So yummy and wholesome!
Yummo! Will try that for dinner. Love it when Buddy joins in. What a great kitchen helper.

What a great looking dish. Every video you make has such delicious looking food. Easy to make and fun!
Look at Jamie being a real RUclips’er trolling us by adding oil to the pasta water. 😂😜😂
I agree, never oil the pasta, a cardinal sin in Italy
@@stevelogan5475 And overall absolutely useless ^^
Olive oil too for extra salt in them wounds
@@stevelogan5475 se fai un chilo di pasta tutto insieme un goccio d'olio non la fa attaccare, ovviamente non ci metti mezzo litro.
@@stevelogan5475 He very rarely using oil in the pasta tbh, probably only doing so in leafy pasta like this, or ravioli (quite rare as well)
Prechoped stuff is great especially for fast cooking, but often more expensive than the regular stuff.
Jamie...You're an artist indeed ! And you have a lovely family :-)

Good Morning from Chef Pasha from Boulder to Chef Jamie Oliver. Thank you for sharing your cooking spirit with us. Sending Love from our family to you and your family. 😃😃😃
Lasagne sheets are an awesome substitute to traditional pasta with pan pasta sauces, even without the ziggy cuts that Jamie made to them. It's another different texture to other pasta types that you can have options with and involve a knife to make whatever shape you wish to cut and eat with the sauce. Especially delicious when it's just al dente because you can get lots of larger whole mouthfuls of squeaky bites as opposed to other smaller strands or pieces of al dente pasta. Thanks for sharing Jamie!
I love that idea about the lasagna sheets making them into another form of pasta

What to use in place of beer
What makes it delicious is, family cooking together! Looks do delicious and easy to make! Thanks for sharing! Children can eat with the beer in it?
Not really, good ingredients and taking your time with the ragu does. Eating together would make it taste better though.
Bob Rong 😊point well taken!🍻
Yes, all the alcohol has been cooked out just leaving the flavour!
very good

Oh No, don't pour Tequila into the sauce instead of beer😂
You mean chilli?

Can you replace the beer with red wine? I can’t have beer due to celiac. Looks delish!
Super super yummy 😋!!!!!! 😃🥰
looks yummy, but why no salt or other seasoning?
Cuz its British😁
He added thyme, beer, canned tomatoes (which are already seasoned) and cheddar tho
I think the flavors are ok, the beer, tomatoes, and rosemary. You can add salt and pepper for taste in your desire.
Because we've been brain washed that salt is evil, yet every chef uses copious amounts....that's their secret...lol.
@@mr.z541 the waters been salted too for the pasta, alot of people forget that bit
Nice
Yummy...
Wowwwww!
Nice yummmy bologne. Bit similar to Lasagna.
Excellente 👏👍
Make this a few times and its really nice.only thing is it doesn't thicken up too well for me,very watery.anyone have any suggestions?
Don't add water...
Glad you called it "British Bolognese" otherwise comment section would be full of whinging Italians 😂😂
Does anyone know just what kind of bear he used? There are plenty of pale ales and would like to get a kind that actually fits with the flavors
Red wine
Yay!!❤
"if my grandmother had wheels" Gino d'Acampo :)
Why add oil to the cooking water come on Jamie?!?! 😭😭😭
I ALWAYS do that too, my mom taught me that way 😅
Doesn't stop it sticking but does stop the water boiling over
@@ashleytrend7218 turn down the stove a bit if the water is boiling over
@@OdrikT800 thanks for the tip 🥴
I do it just because I know it would annoy the cretins who lurk on Bolognese vids, bung lots of stuff on my pizza too anchovies, pineapple british sausages, baked beans and chips haha
This my first time to see Jamie Oliver add olive oil to the pasta water...
I just so happened to have the ingredients for this one including the beer. Definitely trying this one out. Thanks brother Jamie.
Praise THE LORD.
What beer did you use 🍺
Like just for the Bolognese
Was there seasoning?

I can appreciate that it's probably controversial but it is so lovely to see your whole family with you those videos where you do this really do make the difference and I feel just a little bit more normal because you're being real and involving all those that you love thank you I do think it takes bravery to do it in this day and age of social criticism good on you you are a constant inspiration you and your family

I expected Worcestershire Sauce the moment I read the title - guess I was wrong!
Got to have worcester in bolognaise ! Infact appart from cheese on toast its the only thing I use it for !
With What I can replace the beer?
@William Mcphee thank u
What pale ale?? Any??
Buddy ❤️
I am not getting your output into my Inbox. Is there a reason that I can fix?
Classic. A bit like best curry in the world comes from Bradford and is English. I have always used either Wine of one of those Wine Stock Pot cubes. Beer is going to be different for me.
I hope my portion is bigger than yours. I would Slow Cooker mine on the grounds that I do not have to watch it as much.
Thank you.
Gennarro is making his own and says. Why am I cooking so ggoooood?
You either die a hero, or see yourself become the villain...
Question: Not trolling, just always wondered. I'm in the US. How did it come to be British people eat canned baked beans for breakfast? In the US you only really see those canned beans at a BBQ next to a hotdog or burger?
Hello there. Baked beans are often included in a breakfast 'fry up' which also includes fried bacon, sausages, fried egg, fried tomatoes and sometimes a slice of fried bread. A more unhealthy, artery clogging meal is hard to imagine!
@@helenhucker346 An English breakfast is not as unhealthy as you might imagine.
Using good quality ingredients is always recommended.
The baked beans add roughage to the mix, which can't be bad.
Less artery clogging than mac 'n' cheese.
you really have broaden your imagination some many uses for humble baked bean [British type]
Beans are an excellent protein packed breakfast. I'm also American and my family ate baked beans on toast or baked potato for breakfast pretty frequently. My grandmother is English though, so maybe that has something to do with it.
War time rations that are now normal
Hello james
