Shame people are only noticing Cillian since openheimer...the guy has been here for more than 20 years and is brilliant from the beginning and played in so many good movies.

I first saw Cillian in The Wind That Shakes The Barley, and amazing film. Then Red Eye, 28 days later etc.. So chuffed he's become a big star. The dude's got such a range.
It's amazing to see great actors like Matt Damon have the generosity and absence of pride to acknowledge when some unique actors are on a level even above theirs...
There’s a vast difference between movie stars and actors. I love many movie stars, they bring a charisma and life to the screen, there is always a touch of their self. Great actors aren’t noticed, they absorb the characters they play and lose themselves. Movie stars are about themselves, actors are about others.

The whole cast just loves Cillian both as a person and what an unreal actor. I feel maybe that combo is rare enough in that game. And I love that that Matt was telling Ben about how amazing this actor was and as soon as he heard the next movie he wanted to make he was immediately in with their new production company, that’s so lovely 😊
He was also terrifying guy in Red Eye. His range of portraying different characters is amazing to see.
Love Ben and Matt❤ so thankful that they can see the powerful actor in an introverted yet lovely man Cillian Murphy , and go right in and help produce this movie with Cillian. Can’t wait to see this film😍

@@user-sk6mq5ng9i it's just his personal selection of music which he thinks suits the 10-12 midnight slot. They are limited edition shows, unfortunately not available for long on the BBC Sounds app. Gorgeous aural jewels when he has time though 🧡🧡🧡

Cillian was great in Oppenheimer but as Tommy Shelby in Peaky Blinders was a whole different class of acting and 6 seasons of staying in that character is wicked 💯💯🔥🔥

Cillian was so good in 28 days later, and I really enjoyed his appearances in batman trilogy, such a talented actor, can do any role.
If you haven’t seen him in Peaky Blinders, I urge you to. A masterpiece of a series. His acting is impeccable

The first time I saw Cillian was in the Dark Knight. He was spellbinding as Scarecrow. What a career so far!
Spellbinding. That's a hell of a stretch. Then, Hardy ruins the 3rd one.
He had a career for a decade before that.
@CorbCorbin nothing of note tho. He may have been in the batman trilogy starting in 2005, but his biggest break was peaky blinders (which is complete dog shit) from 2013 and that is only a decade ago. He is nothing special. But, I have not watched oppenheimer yet.
28 Days Later was my introduction to him. He was great in it too.

For ppl who even knows who cillian Murphy is. You would know that cillian has been around a long long time and its only recently the recognition and accolades started to come. Man its been a long road but just glad it happened for cillian murphy cuz hes such a great actor.
I’ve been saying for years that Cillian Murphy is a criminally underrated actor. I’m glad to see him finally getting the attention he deserves.

To be quite honest and a bit ashamed I had never heard of Cillian until Oppenheimer. I’m so glad he’s getting recognition now.

Cillian on screen whether it be big or small he is mesmerizing but him on stage is something special. I like the fact that he is incredibly private he loves his wife and kids. He is a very special actor him and Tom Hardy together on Peaky was just sublime
