He was big in the early 2000's and cemented his name in the hiphop/rap game from years ago. The Mixtape the original SLR is on is a good place to start it’s called “Friend of the People I Fight Evil” Lupe dropped it the same year as his radio shit album that was fucked by the label and is his worst work “Lasers”. The only reason that I think it's being questioned is cuz of all the talk about "best rapper" going on beforehand. The Mixtape the original SLR is on is a good place to start it’s called “Friend of the People I Fight Evil” Lupe dropped it the same year as his radio shit album that was fucked by the label and is his worst work “Lasers”. I’ve seen this script too many times. Getting high on beef is dangerous...it’s like pussy, you’ll do strange things only to realize it was never that. This stuff could’ve set hiphop in a good place and created a genuine conversation that would help change the game...but instead it went the old way and nothing changed under the sun.
