That’s me at La Grange around 16:47 lol, 4th stop now
You are very agile for an old fossil 😂
Hi bro
Oh my goodness. The kitty wanted a soda😂
LOL! Even the kitty feels the drawing power of the Coke Machine at LaP!
Awesomely beautiful Grab Bag! Snow devil,Pack Man and lots of Beautiful Snow!
i for the life of me cannot see what is beautiful about snow
Loved the weather event at Revelstoke. We get them during the summer here in Australia, but dust not snow.
Love the videos, keep up the great work.
That lady was running pretty slow but she's still much faster than me these days, glad they made it onboard.
She probably was going as fast as flip flops would allow. It's December! Put the flip flops away. She's all bundled up otherwise.
Those ladies were lucky at Ft Madison. You all remember the girl that got off to take a smoke break at La Plata a year or two ago and the Amtrak took off and they would not stop for her --- she was stuck there until supposedly her boyfriend came and rescued her.
I thought that lady was never seen again; that her ghost wanders the La Plata station and sometimes chases the Southwest Chief as it departs.
@@JackF99 🤣🤣
I think that once the train is in motion its not going to stop
The cat wanted a coke but had no money
Pretty neat catch in Revelstoke! Can't say I've ever seen a 'snow devil' before.
Having grown up in the French Alps, Ohio, Michigan. S. Korea, Illinois and Wisconsin I have seen a few and that's exactly what that is. Whenever you have those there's also a decent chance of thunder snow, one of the freakier weather phenomenons.
@@thephantomeagle2 Love thunder snow, grew up with it because of the lake effect snow in WNY. It always throws me when someone says they've never experienced it because it's so "normal" to me
@@thephantomeagle2 Ahh, it has been a while since I experienced thundersnow.
Wouldn't that be an EF -1 Snownado?
@@thephantomeagle2 Where in ROK?
It's awesome you have Revelstoke!! i used to live on Vancouver Island, in South Wellington, used to love when the trains went by....
Loved the phase 3 amtrak heritage locomotive meet so cool!
The best Amtrak livery by far.
Another beautiful sunrise at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg.
Nice job with the clouds rolling past the sun there at La Plata.
Your camera operators are the best. Extremely enjoyable video.
I was looking for the bandit holding up AmTrak, but certainly not disappointed with yet another magnificent Grab Bag.
Fabulous as always
They even had the Piedmont in there. Simply Railway went on that train and said it was classy to be in there. They really liked the cars. Gave it a thumbs up.
Some very nice pics.!😳
0:12 three unit light power move
1:22 amazing shot right here! Glad this webcam caught it
2:08 that's some thicc exhaust!
2:32 hi-rail truck racing a train
3:09 nice ex-UP patch job and two CP Rail livery SD40-2s
4:50 I've never seen those covers on GATX hoppers before, only on the giant coal hoppers
4:56 wow, L&I unit as mid-train DPU. I used to see quite a few of those getting repainted in Kansas City (seen again at 13:24)
6:20 Amtrak passing Amtrak!
7:20 neat catch. I probably wouldn't have noticed in person that until I reviewed footage of it
8:02 9-unit light power move
9:28 cool RJ Corman gondola
12:26 bumper-to-bumper traffic! I've seen that happen on the Ft. Scott sub
14:08 a 6-car Piedmont Service! Nice to see they still use those old streamliner passenger cars
15:08 three Pan-Am boxcars
15:30 NS, BNSF, Ferromex, GECX, and CN power in one 8-unit lash-up!
18:58 wow! Empire Services passing each other, each with a Phase III P32
Seeing the late passengers in FMD, no wonder some Amtraks are behind. Some things never change.
Yeah not in the best running shape either :)
@@MrMarkus49 Certainly.
HARD TO RUN IN FLIP FLOPS. LOL
wow,snow devil.never saw one before.
Fun to see all the snow! It's been crazy cold up here in the Inland NW. Luckily the tracks and roads aren't too bad.
I wasn't even around when this was released so im watching it
Holy cow! A snownado!
Please do not give the SYFY channel any ideas. I can see it now, with 4 or 5 sequels.
Hey, I made the grab bag again! 5:13
Thanks for the dropped signal / no signal @ 1:26 in Skykomish. I liked seeing all of the different animals, fox, deer (half an antler?) kitty cat and the dinosaur.
I have seen that dropped signal in Sky a few times. It comes back on in just a couple of minutes.
Coyote at 5:29.
Sorry, but could you please help me understand what a "dropped signal" means?
A really great grab bag anyone could expect! 👍
00:56. Beautiful catch. Tornado~Snowado'❤️❤️❤️🌪️🌪️🌪️
Very nice melody at the end at lookout.
I remember seeing a Rc car on the Deshler Ohio stream one, I was surprised to see one there that day, it was either on the 25th or 26th
Another great grab bag
Nice video
God. That Revelstoke BC and Skykomish WA winter cinematic views is gorgeous.
3:10 to 3:19 ! PAC - MAN ! WOO !
@12:44 seesh don't let the slack roll out. End up making a hitch with the amtrak lol
Dig the new intro!
9:44 : "We are the Sultran of Trains"
you caught a cat burglar and a sno-nado in the first minute. nice catch.
The Bee Hive Service engine I saw in Virginia a few weeks ago!
Ohhhhhhhhhhh... I am so HURT :(
I traveled from SC to Alabama to then to Florida for Christmas and on the way back I made sure that we stopped by Cordele GA's Virtual RailFan Cam and it's not on the Grab bag.
I was there at 10:44 am on the 27th waving. No one cared to post it. I had my Ipad showing you my MERRY CHRISTMAS on it too.
I'll never get back to that spot either.
I watch this all of the time too. My chance to be seen. No one got to see me :(
Too bad. That's the way that you treat your viewers????
Oh geez...
2:10.the wicked witch loves riding trains 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
19:55 that was my brother and i out enjoying a rare day off work together. was rare to catch the River Runner turning around 25th street there.
I was wondering what was going on there, river runner make a turn.. Nice!!
Hope the Revelstoke bear is tucked up cosy somewhere.
The Stegosaurus In La Grange Was Perfect!
Yay
Wonderful 🌹🌹🌹🌹
You should put a camera behind Bims liquor store in Atlanta. Spent day there railfanning and the action was awesome. CSX and NS tracks converge there and Inman Yard is just around the corner. People in Bims are awesome
🌿🌾🇮🇳🌿🌾
Excellent Video
5:44 - Fresh coat of paint on BNSF 1629! That SD40-2 had a faded and rusty Bluebonnet livery only a few weeks ago.
Here is Elvis with its fancy engine. Cool
1:00 Oh hey a snow devil!
I hope you guys get some cameras in the sierras soon
Thanks for another great Grab Bag! 15:25 in Elkhart - that's a new record (for me watching anyway). 5 different engines - NS, BNSF, Ferromex, a blue one (not sure where it was from) and CN Canada represent!!!!! Also, what was that in Revelstoke - a snownado? A great catch!
Need to get a camera at the Diamond in Effingham, IL. Old 1928 station buildings completely rebuilt by a new owner. A small part of the third building was kept for the Amtrak station. On the single track a new siding is going in for Amtrak stop-overs. The diamond is for a CN North/South single track crossing over a CSX main and a spur. I think the spur is part of an old Y.
Nice
19:02 2 HUs passing each other lol
ÓTIMAS. IMAGENS. 🇧🇷🇧🇷
Looks like the train "Amtrack",needed a top off!
There is a Goofball 🤪 chasing an Amtrak and wearing the Wrong kind of shoes for Iowa in Winter. ❄️ 🥶
you all should have cam in Carbondale IL very activated tracks also Amtrak station
Thanks !;you people are on your A. game at "Grab Bag!!
At 4:51 are those coal hoppers with some kind of special/separate covers?
The cat realy made a show at The colke machine
I like the ns ge ac44c6m in Roanoke, Virginia .
Like a lot of people, never seen a snow devil before. 🤓
dudes in VA look like twins. Snow in western Washington is rare. Skykomish is almost in the mountains, so they might get it more. Chehalis usually doesn't. I think the snow stayed maybe 2 days.
Is it just me, or is foreign power getting increasingly common? It seems like there is nearly always an NS on BNSF tracks or a UP on CSX tracks (or visa-versa)...
Yeah they brought the foreign power from China
Wouldn't surprise me if mergers and being discussed. BNSF-CN-NS and UP-CP-CSX. I've heard Berkshire owns both BNSF and NS. Don't quote me though; just rumors.
17:17 3194 on X422 combined with X410!!
The only thing that I think could make these videos better, is to label what is going on. Some of it is obvious, but imho, others aren’t quite as obvious, even for the experience railfan. Thanks!
Getting the train in the UK, better make sure you're there on time because once the doors close they will not open them again. As for getting off for a smoke, forget it - no time to do so at station stops, and its banned on most platforms anyway.
Surprised there was an open door and the first woman got on after the train was moving.
I'm sure the Kingsley Inn would have offered their finest of rooms and fare for that tardy couple had AMTRAK not stopped
At 20:00 mark what are Amfleet 1's and 2's doing in Kansas City?
I was wondering the same thing.
5:26 one of Santa's helpers seem to have gotten lost!
At 10:19, was that Elliott, from Open Season, lol
Signal does the same thing at Fort Morgan, CO.
Sandals in Iowa in December?
Nice the crew held the train for Jammy Granny... she may have needed CPR after that.
The cat at the beginning of the video was looking for Bob Cox!
15:22 WSOR 503194 former Sargento Cheese boxcar.Thats a rare sight.
I believe that it's a diagnostic car. It test wear and tear on tracks, I think it also finds places where plates are missing, and track might be unbalanced, and more.
At 3:12 I did not hear any news of CP acquiring Union Pacific engines at anytime this year.
We have high winds here i almost tipped over i am broken down.
When I read the headline, "Person holds up Amtrak @ Ft. Madison...", I wondered how much money they made off with.
1:00 A "dust devil" in the far north on vactaion.
6:40 Holy Snowkes! Picked a lot of Snow dust! LOL
20:31 Charger!
0:31 Cat looking for loose change in the Coke machine.
What does dropped sing now then no signal mean?
Noice
Ft Madison is where? Thanks
Someone must have alerted the conductor of the train and had him stop
t's a snownado!!
Amtrak Conductor didn't shout All Aboard to folks on the platform at FMD. Can't blame the passengers THIS time!
4:23. The Norfolk and southern (blue angels) demonstration team
0:52 Is that a mini snow tornado?!
I think so
It's probably more akin to a dust devil, but it certainly looks weird with snow
It is indeed a Snow Devil. I've lived in the French Alps, Ohio, Michigan, S. Korea, Illinois, and Wisconsin. I've seen a few.
Godzilla attacks... er, crosses the streets... at 16:40ish. Puny humans caused him no harm. Whew.
10;30 Half a Buck LOL { check the horns }
14:50 Anyone know what type of horn that might be?
On the VRF cameras
5:02 Looks like a bit of that coal was smoldering in the railcar.
Big Ol' Pickups are the only Coal Rollers these days...
Pan Am boxcars. Not bad for a defunct airline.
Pan Am name was bought by a small line rail company in the early 2000s
Kitty wants a Coke. :3
