0:34 a CN business car on the front of an intermodal. This reminds me of a coach on a potential drive on-drive off intermodal service that could run through mountain passes which will be where the drivers of the trucks (and cars) ride the train

P42s aren't set up for DPU operation. The second unit was the lead unit of the Silver Star or Silver Meteor.

Reading about intermodal rail cars, I realized I was unaware if I had seen an intermodal tanker. Today, seeing this, could the four red cars at 4:50 be intermodal tankers? Or what type? Thanks.
Yeah. They’re coiled cars. Factories usually have their metal delivered as sheet medal rolled up into a coil. If you tried to load it into any other kind of car, the metal could possibly get damaged, which usually means the entire coil is scrap.
