I love seeing trains going through fresh snow, or coming out of the fog.
Watch the Roanoke Virginia Railcam in the mornings in the spring/fall & you’ll see a lot of trains in the fog
That amtrak driver finally got me in the Christmas spirit that was fantastic!!
My favorite was the CP6644 World War II Memorial unit coupled with the ex-NS PRLX unit and that cute cherry red CP GP38-2. Awesome!

PRLX 6770 is also a former Conrail locomotive, but lost its blue paint in 2010.
It was nice to see that old SD60M mixed in there with the BNSF SD60M lead to compliment the two CP locos!

Great grab-bag! I was in SoCal and northern Arizona on the 19th-20th, and saw several of these trains. Saw the one at 5:34 and 17:12 just east of Barstow, and the one at 19:50 near Needles.
Sad I missed the one with three CNs at 6:15 though.

Best place around to ride a train and ride through AMISH COUNTRY! Ride this train 4 times this year and next year we're going to the "CASS SCENIC RAILROAD" in West Virginia and to stay 2nights! So looking fwd to that!

Thanks for another great collection. i was the one at the Oklahoma cam. NEVER thought i would be able to visit that cam. (thanks for the edit, vrf staff ,lol). There is so much traffic these days, i take it as a sign that things are picking up.
