This problem seems common enough. Had the same issue with an 03 d5 xc90. Took the dials out and had them rebuilt. Working perfectly for the last year.
hello, I have exactly the problem that you were quick you deal? What you changed? the problem is not on the panel cd reader?
I had same problem with my xc 90 volvo 2004 and diagnosed from volvo centre and they told me its SEM computer inside the car is damaged. need replacement.
ABS Brake module. Mine did same thing except dash lights didnt go out. just need to remove black abs module and replace with a refurb or new.
Easy fix if you like DIY
