you don't open up... people feel weird. you do open up and people still run away because it's too deep for them. being more aware and empathetic than most people shouldn't be a reason to be an outcast, but sadly vast majority of the world is not yet ready to move beyond the superficial, surface level existence. i will never join that herd, and i'm done trying to fit in.

Then let me be the first to welcome u to the “odd group”and at the same time I must say “I’m sorry” while knowing ourselves is necessarily the reality at how isolated we are is very “heavy” early in the self actualization process.
Don’t worry though, it is easy to find others online where we can speak freely and with more people.
While being an infj is challenging the benefits which are worth it most of thet time.
      Safe journeys

Two of my girls are infjs and I do believe my father was an intj but he died when I was young and my family doesn’t understand such things to provide any valuable insights
It would be interesting to know your children’s type…. I do believe it is a mix of genetics and environment but if you have two Ni doms who don’t have an Ni don kid it would be interesting.

When I didn't know I was an INFJ, I thought I had Asperger's syndrome. After getting to know the topic, it turned out that my personality is a gift rather than a disease. If someone writes INFJ/Autism, I see it as a compliment because someone is clearly jealous that we can be real.

Wow... what a ridiculous contribution to the topic. INFJ is a personality type. Autism is a Neurological Condition. So NO, Infj's are not on the spectrum.
Autism is a condition that affects ABILITIES. Like socializing, communication and interactions. And is actually linked to psychopathy. Because of the lack of empathy or ability to experience the emotions of others.
INFJ's are introverts with heightened awareness and a deeper understanding of human behaviors. They are compassionate, empathetic, introspective, deep thinkers. And they chose their own peace over forced socializing.
Please be careful, tossing around words and conditions without any understanding of how humans are actually made.
