Litstening to the beginning of your role play hit me hard, but then I just closed up and felt nothing. I don't know how to stay open and actually investigate what my problem really is.
@@AWEdio Yeah perfect! You can then attune to the closing up, numbing out, dissociation and let that take up space. That in of itself is a sensation - it might feel cloudy and ungrounded, but that too is a sensation. That response was needed at some point. For example, maybe at some point in your life, you got the message that if I’m vulnerable, I need to protect myself. The system does that geniously with numbing out. When the system is ready, given safety, support and attuned too accurately by either a facilitator or internally with reparenting tools (which can be a good place to start if it still feels too unsafe to meet the energies) you might notice that you regain access to the emotional state. You could also ask the numbness if you have contact with it - thank you for protecting me - what would I be feeling if you weren’t here? And stay curious for faint emotional whispers. Good luck 🙏
