- Despite having greys since the 4th grade, I've never dyed my hair until I bought Simpler Hair Color off a Facebook Ad, and in this video I share the results and my experience dying my hair for the first time.

Maurice, we love you just the way you are. ❤🤠
Looking good Maurice! I really like your approach to videos, this one was a nice surprise
i dont think this is something i would try for myself, but now that ive seen it used i would feel comfortable recommending it. Thanks Maurice!
Awesome video as always!
Hey Maurice!
Thank you so much for your review of our product!
This is one of the most impressive videos we've seen about our product!
Hope you continue to use and love SIMPLER Hair Color!
This was so easy! And cool! I think getting 3 or 4 uses out of each purchase is very nice.
Thx for the review. Just ordered for my husband
Very good review glad you mentioned the smell. I've been trying different products and some really smell bad . Been using JFM many years but for some reason it has started to burn my skin really did like the product until recently.
Nice! At least you've got hair. What might you recommend for someone with thinning grey hair? (asking for a friend ;)
Hey Maurice, enjoyed your video and it was informative , have a question for you, after you stopped using it (assuming you have) or you missed a session , does your hair turn orangey or a light brown? Thanks !!
Thank you Maurice
I have my box and I am about to try
I just bought the kit and used your link 👍🏻
Nice. Thank you for the review
Hey Maurice. I'm in my 40's and have been looking for a good men's hair dye for years. I'm totally unhappy with everything I've been using. I've been watching your edc content for years as well and just happened to stumble upon Simpler and your video. Having you review the product instantly gave me good feelings about Simpler. I'm gonna try it thanks to you. For several reasons I trust your endorsement. Thanks man, carry on!
hello! how did it work for you?,
It worked great. I just bought my second box of Simpler. It's much easier, faster, and less messy than the other box kit brands I've tried. I have brown hair and other brands have a lot of red in their products. After a few weeks, my hair would look almost orange in some light. Simpler provides a better color, in my opinion. I'm very happy and would recommend to anyone unhappy with other DIY brands. Good luck.
Great video , does anyone know how long it lasts after a single application?
Serves you right for going on Facebook
Maurice,
Suggestion: For your longer hair on top, brush in your hair dye going in both the left and right directions.
This will help give you better coverage on all of your hair, on the surface and the hair close to your scalp.
Also, was there a specific reason for choosing this product? I'm guessing there might be more
cost-effective products available that would work equally as well. Although, just a guess.
Hey Maurice did you end up using the cleaning wipes?
Wow keep up the good work
Hello, it's been two months now since you dye your hair, how is the color holding up? Thanks
Would you know if the stores would carry this?
I'd advise sectioning your hair to get a more even application.
As someone who regularly dies their hair, this product is a bit pricey imo. Especially if it's a demi-permanent dye.
You were absolutely correct that the skin protector is just Vaseline. If you ever want to try dying your hair without this kit, you don't need to buy anything fancy.
You're definitely correct that it's much easier if a friend can do the back. When I am doing that by myself, I use a hand mirror to see the back in a full sized mirror.
Final tip, double or even triple the amount of product you used. You want every strand fully covered. If you apply too little, it'll come out uneven and patchy. More is more.
Hello , sorry for my ignorance on this subject but what does a Demi permanent dye mean ? How long would 1 application last before needed to be reapplied ? For me it’s a toss up between this or Madison reed, but madison reed says needs to be applied every 2 weeks and it’s 28$ each
what products do you use? I'm looing for a longer lasting solution for my beard and mustache. My hair doesnt need it only my facial hair for some reason. thanks in advance.
I've never considered dyeing my hair. My hairline was receding before I turned grey. I shaved my scalp in 2010 or there about and never looked back.
Still, I think you've done a great job, especially considering this is the first time you tried it. If it works for you is all that matters
😉
Thanks for your help my friend
Where did you get that stuff?
Wow, I almost bought it. It looks like I will stay with my current dye. $60 is not acceptable.
Can you do Travel Watch Box for 7 watches light protective - best value - best high end
How long did it last before you had to do it again?
I tend to get migraines after using hair die because of the chemicals. Is this a product that doesn’t contain those chemicals?
Maurice, while I like your salt-n-peppa (😉), I think you did a good job. I started using Madison Reed during the pandemic. That was my first foray into DIY hair color. It’s a lot of work, but was way cheaper than salon hair color. I’ve since let my natural hair color grow out - I don’t have as much gray as I thought I did.
I put it in my hair too. It works really well, but if you have strong Gray, you might want to leave it in longer than an hour because if you wash it off before your graze will look blue. But it works really well. I haven't been able to redo mine yet. Because I've been driving on the road. But if you have strong bright gray, you might want to leave it in more than an hour to make sure it stays black.
Do all of the products have hydrogen peroxide or just the lighter colors?
Hair dying is always easier with a friend.
When I was younger I used to dye my hair all sorts of colours, but the bleaching process was a nightmare and it is definitely something I wasn't good enough to do alone.
Btw, I found something similar in Japan a couple of years ago called bigen for men. It’s a lot more affordable as well - do try if you have a chance (:
Good video. Not your usual jam, but sometimes it’s good to mix it up.
Off topic comment; what knife did you use to open the box? Didn’t look like a Bailout.
Looks like a Civivi Praxis (or Mini Praxis, hard to tell the blade length from a paused video, haha).
That would have been great when I was younger, unfortunately, now I have very little hair. But it looks like it worked well for you.
Just embrace it and shave it all off! Then it looks intentional instead of like something that's happening against your will.
@@catetanenbaum2418 that is what I do.
It looks nice. I like your salt and pepper too. I don't think I've ever seen you without the cap. I actually thought you went the buddah route ;-D
Stop with the "Im the least intelligent...." - it's really obvious that you are extremely bright.
I was thinking the same thing. It’s good to be humble, but you can be humble without depreciating yourself.
Yeah, seems fake when he overdoes that sort of thing. Still a fan tho!
I just spray and mix. But this stuff does not darken enough to work
Thought the same thing.
🤩🙌 ich liebe deinen Kanal ...... vielen Dank
I tried it but unfortunately I didn't care for it. It is not a permanent dye so it wore off in a couple of weeks. I used medium brown which was brown at first but as it wore off it made my hair reddish. That never happened to me with Just for Men.
Does shampoo wash it off after use
you should brush it totally back rather than to the side. Your hair will all be brushed back but you won't miss spots.
I like the natural salt and pepper. Cheers 👐
🤣 Why ? 🤣
You are younger.
Im making every one aware that this product is no different then other products maybe the ingredients are different but the burn after is the samee trust me
The burn? That's a skin issue. I've never felt burn.
It only comes out white cream, in my experience I wasted my money, I don't recommend buying it
Hey bro when your lucky to have the salt and pepper look stick with it
I have to comment that I can see that 中華電信 ❤
looks like it didnt even work well on your "beard". it seems way more expensive than Just for Men and the results are not what I expected. thank you for reviewing this and stopping me from making a terrible decision.
If you have a reaction from the Just for Men product, you will have it from this as well. I just tried it on my beard, and within 2 hours after use, I have chemical burns on my face! I do NOT recommend this product!
Wowowowo you don't respond to your Comments for that reason not Subscribe or Bell, and i hit the dislike button, no reason to ask a question, NEXT 💯
Bigen Ez ..no reason to try anything else.
I’m sorry, but your natural hair is beautiful with its silver streaks going through. Your natural hair complements your skin tone. It looks so much nicer than dyed hair. Please don’t dye your hair. You are beautiful the way you are.
A lot of women I know say not to dye my hair but they dye theirs . Do as I say not as I do . 😂😂
@@joelow1282 what you see in the picture is my natural hair. I’m a little bit more silver now because the picture is about a year old. I stopped dying my hair 20 years ago when I was 40. Actually I will be 60 in a few months so technically I stopped dying my hair 19 and three-quarter years ago lol. Since I stopped dying my hair my hair is so much healthier. It’s different to take care of because the texture is different of my gray, but I don’t have to wash my hair every day my hair and my hair has a lot more body and softer.
eh, embrace the gray.
