@@berlinbuildsI understand that completely, and it's messed up the algorithm/momentum for me several times. All good here and trying to get out at least 1 long form video a month or more.
@@berlinbuilds Understand completely, life takes all of us away from YT for small periods. Glad to have you back, have a great week, and thanks for the good wishes.
Great solution if the walls are unfinished. There are actually a couple of new products on Amazon that also solve the issue without marring the walls, if that's an issue. Still, it's amazing how long it took before a company realized the shims that were sold with laminate and LVP flooring were completely unsuited to the task. I remember trying to use painters tape to keep them in place when I was installing flooring years ago and failing miserably.
Hey man I'm doing exterior trim for a pretty big GC building Custom Homes in Colorado and I'm going to start doing interior trim for them but I really don't know how much to charge and I just wanted to see if you were kind enough to give me a ball park on prices for base board per linear foot, window casing, door install and casing , shelves, and Cabinet install I would really appreciate any help with this thanks a lot.
Good on you! Each area is going to pull different rates and people charge differently. Some do a flat square foot rate with builders while others do linear and each takeoffs. For hanging and casing a single hung interior door those usually make about $100 Baseboard that is flat is usually $2/lf Shelves I charged $20-$25 per shelf piece (not including hook strip) Windows I was about $100 per window. This is all paint grade with builder supplying all materials. Stain grade is very different. Cabinets are tricky. Some do it by the box and some by the job. I’d recommend asking around your area and see what people are doing.
Thanks for sharing Nick, nice work on finding a solution. I hope all has been well!
Thanks man! All is good over here! Crazy busy though and got distracted from RUclips. I hope everything is going good for you!

Thank you! I looked them up and you’re right they’ve got some new stuff now that can work. It’s crazy it took this long 🤣
Thinking outside the box 🙌 can’t wait till I own a home so I can do this on my own!
Thanks man! I hope that day is sooner than later! You’ll have to keep me updated on all your projects!
