Hi Miss Liza! Love your content and the way you explain the on ground reality. I am travelling to Yangon this weekend solo and will be exploring around. Specially your recommendations and hopefully show some positive side through my videos. Your videos have been super helpful! ❤️
What a lovely message to receive. I'm so glad that I can help you by my humble efforts. I am sure you will have a wonderful time in Yangon. If you want to travel further I highly recommend Myanmar Shalom. I think its best to have a travel partner on your side in these interesting times should you wish to explore like I did in Shan State and keep safe having an incredible time. Blessings, Liza. Edited to say I note you are from India. I am currently filming in the Ganesh Utsav period on Indians life in Myanmar as that is a community that blessed me to come to many community events. And I hope to visit India soon. Myanmar gave me a taste of what India could be like ;-)
@@MissLizaYangonMyanmar thank you so much for your guidance! I will just be in Yangon for now, want to explore the city. Maybe next time will return for sure and explore further north! as I am currently based in Bangkok! Happy to help and guide if you ever plan to travel to India! 🙌🏻😊❤️
Thanks Miss Liza for your humanity & advice. Much appreciated. I hope & pray that peace will come to Myanmar soon for all the beautiful people there. They are 1 of the kindest people I have ever met.
@@fj9306 There is a LONG history of fighting here in Myanmar so like my Balkans blood my experience is not so naive. But yes it is the beautiful people who keep me here
Thank for this video, I will definitely look inti this company for my travels. Yes, I agree I get so frustrated when new teachers come and argue with the price for a trip. I always give a bit extra. I love living in Mandalay but am looking forward to my trip to Yangon in October.
I think they just don't know, especially if they have lived in China a long time. Edited to say that I know how tough it has been to live in Mandalay. Yangon you can move freely and easily. And if you do travel with Myanmar Shalom you will feel free as well 😘
@@pritishbarbara7962 thank you for your kind words. I have a lot to improve. I was nervous and repeating myself a lot as I forgot my script sometimes 🙈

You will get a terrible rate at an ATM. USD and change to Kts at change booths. Inya lake hotel has a decent exchange rate. Airport terrible rate. And once you settle in ask locals for help. They will know which change desk has the best rate

As a former international school student, it's always great to have foreign teachers embracing our culture!

Do you teach students at home like home tuition and which school do you teach or online teaching on speaking
No. I am a proper qualified licensed teacher. I work at an IB school. I think English teachers do that sort of thing
@@MissLizaYangonMyanmar thank you for your response I really like your videos
Thanks, Lisa. Cash or ATM to withdraw the local money?
Cash... with most foreign cards you'll have issues at Myanmar ATMs - also better FX rates in cash.
