Hey HardDrive Online fans! We had the honor of having Myles Kennedy and Mark Tremonti come in Hard Drive's Studio V, to talk with Paulie Walnuts about Alter Bridge's upcoming album, 'Walk The Sky.'
The three went through most of the album giving little bits of details on what fans should expect. Acoustic sessions from these legends will be coming out soon, so stay tuned!

I don't think they will get the recognition these days, at least in US. Rock seems somewhat dead in the USA except us few fanatics.... As talented as these guys are, you would think they would be huge.
Agreed I said the same thing the other day. they do need more they are completely underrated IMO.

it occurred to me how different interviews are these days. for the early albums, the interviewers went in not knowing much about the band and just asked about transitioning from Creed because that's the only reference they had - of course had no idea who Myles was. now it feels like most interviews are with people who have been big fans for years, who know a lot of the insider stuff the hardcore fans do, and it just makes the whole thing better.
I’ve been a huge fan since day one. See all the shows. Tremonti band is just sick. Keep going guys.
I personally wouldn't mind mark taking over vocals on a future alter bridge album and having Myles be backing vocals, maybe a half and half.
I wouldn't mind myles taking over the guitar part about 2/3 of the writting proportion, I mean, man myles is killer on guitar
I wouldn't mind Brian sit at the drum kit and play maybe half of the drums in the record

i saw on the internet that myles kennedy has a net worth of 3 million dollars which is ok, but 3 million dollars for all the music stuff he has done thats not much, mark tremonti has a net worth of 30 millions dollars, myles deserves more money for his rewards working with slash, being the frontman of alter bridge, his solo album

This was right after he finished touring with SMKC. Now he looks refreshed and the whole band sounds amazing. You may check the videos and the photos from yesterday concert at The Ritz in Raleigh ( 20/09)

Definitely. He's probably a big part of why their songwriting is so good but the actual production quality of the last couple of hard rock albums hes produced has been abysmal.

The production on this album is horrible, you can’t even turn it up to a decent level without it sounding all distorted and clipping, just as horribly produced as metallicas death magnetic!
I don’t have a good feeling about this album, the released songs were really weak
Some people say the singles were the lightest songs in the whole album, so have faith my friend! I don't really like them too but I think it's worth a listen at least!

These 4 songs are basically made for commercial base , the real artistic material wil be out on 18th
Walk the sky is unlistenable, they have brick walled the compression on it that it just distorts very badly, not worth the buy.
