Alter Bridge are awesome
Honestly RUSH is THE band for me, but AB, is easily my fav "new era" band, and would be the Aerosmith of this age if rock wasn't dead in Murica. I go to any concerts I can within a 4 hour drive. I'm probably the oldest fan at fity seven, but mad skills breaks all boundaries. My favorite show was when I treated my youngest son to a show at Hard Rock "Rocksino" near Cleveland. We went in and had second row in this teeny venue which may have had 2500 seats, so we were virtually on the stage, but then, in addition to AB was,,,, wait for it, Glen Hughes with Jason Bonham drumming (California Breed), I think Winery Dogs was also the starting band. It was insane. Glen Hughes and AB at the same place. Yes, I did cry, I'm secure enough to admit it!!!!

Love Alter Bridge! Myles definitely needs some rest. I heard a week or so ago on the AB tour he was sick and Mark stepped in on vocals. Would hate to see Myles ruin his voice because he over did it. He needs to take a couple months off and rest.

I love these guys but the answers to those questions are such bullshit. David Gilmour… Really?! Has anyone ever heard of this guitar player from LA? I think his name is Van Halen? I think Tremonti might be familiar with him.

Its called opinions and both Mark and Myles has mentioned Van Halen in several other interviews, maybe they wanted to shine some light on some of their other influences... also I personally think Gilmoure blows Van Halen out of the water

And these guys need to focus on Alter Bridge a little more. Slow down and spend some time with each other really focusing on writing. They're getting kind of AC⚡DCish in that everything is sounding really the same from record to record
So, in order to accurately claim doing new and different shit, they grabbed a synthesizer of all things. What's next? A DJ?
The new shit is good but, they're capable of much better. Don't get me wrong, I love their music but, it's really getting stale.
I'm gonna buy this CD but, when the next one comes out, if it's more of the same, I'll probably skip it

One Day Remains is still the best Alter Bridge record, both song wise and in production.
And if you're a real fan of any artist, you should want them to sell as many records as possible so they can make money and be able to afford to make another record.
Yeah, record sales don't pay the bills anymore but, if it costs more to make a record than it makes, you're gonna see less bands out there
Plus, more record sales leads to more fans which in turn leads to more merch and ticket sales which, hold on to your hat, gives an artist enough money to do another record
I agree so much. I've been in love with this band since the last 10 years. These singles haven't really been there.
I haven't liked the mixes too much and they really are capable of much more. You've put it really well.

Walk the sky is better than the last one they did. Ab3 is better than 1st album.
