BLACKBIRD is one of the greatest records of all time
No
Ty Manning yes
Totally man , I heard it randomly and I had too know who ???
Ty Manning u do know that Metallica aren’t the only band in the world
@Ty Manning Apply some Aloe vera for the burnt area!
Blackbird was the album of 2007 for me, I literally just had my first real breakup that spring, then literally 3 weeks before the album dropped i was moved from my small town in indiana to a much larger town in North Alabama, I literally knew none of the kids at this new school and all my friends were in Indiana, Literally listened to this Album the full two years i lived there, Until i came back to Indiana in 2009. The songs hit me hard and got me through alot, Will never forget that, Still listen to it to this day, One of the Greatest Rock albums of my generation for sure
Brandon Hardy great story dude. I’m glad music helped you
That White Knuckles guitar riff intro is so catchy and awesome. All of their songs are just so amazing.
I have listened this album so many times, ohh I can't count. Masterpiece!
0:54 Myles absolutely killing it in the booth! His vocals sound amazing.
One of the best Rock albums of all times. Pure masterpiece.
Crazy!
At 19:30-19:40 Mark can play 36 notes in 2 seconds, yet was struggling with the F Fsus4 arpeggio part. The bloke is a fretboard demon.
Myles.... By far is the most underrated singer in the music industry today. If you think about how Alter Bridge writes and how Slash writes, he brings it with surgical execution to both projects..... Cheers !!!!!!!!
TOTAL MASTERPIECE BLACKBIRD. THE MORE IT AGES THE MORE I AM BLOWN AWAY BY IT. MOST BANDS GET TOGETHER IT SEEMS TO JUST GET THINGS DONE ASAP SO THEY CAN GO AND TOUR AND GET PAID. THESE GUYS MAKE MUSIC BECAUSE THEY NOT ONLY LOVE IT, BUT THEY'RE PERFECTIONISTS IN THEIR CRAFT.
JUST OUTSTANDING!!!
Every song is fucking gem, the last remains of when rock dominated music. Just the start of rise today, will get you out of bed and depression. Blackbird is one of the songs written
10 years later and this is still my favorite AB record. My favorite AB records go as follows in order:

The lost hero
Walk in the sky
OK my order is:
Fortress
The Last Hero
Blackbird
ABIII
One Day Remains
Walk The Sky
I love this album! Got it the week it came out. I was 13 years old, in 7th grade. I learned alternate tunings from this album. It's one of my top 5 favorite albums and easily one of my top 3 modern (21st century) albums. I have a lot of memories wrapped up in Blackbird, and I relive them every time I listen to it.
As much as I love AB3 but I have to agree. Blackbird is a masterpiece.
But it's hard compare their albums, they're so different stylistically.
Its such a relief to hear mark say his own song is a pain in the ass lol
myles said it
@@adithyaganesh23 Nope, you are wrong. 19:38 in the video.
Both Mark and Myles said it
haris fredericoh Lol facts they both said it these dudes both ain’t paying attention
Lol
I always felt like Watch Over You had that Mayfield 4 feel to it, makes sense Myles wrote this years ago before AB probably
This band never fails me man they are constantly producing awesome works of art each album
The Blackbird album made me fall in love with them:) I love how Alter Bridge has "positive" song content (limited swear words and such) and can still crush it and keep the heavy rock feel. And Myles Kennedy's voice. It doesn't get better. Thanks for being so great! You guys are everything that I love about rock:)
These guys are such great people so down to earth my friend toured with these guys they really are who they seem
You guys have changed my life through the music. God continue to bless you all.
Your forever fan.

BLACKBIRD SONG STILL GOOD TO HEAR TIL NOW 2016 , ITS A ALTERBRIDGE LEGENDARY SONG BEST EVER
vicssoera baia any alter bridge song is good to here
what I love most: regular guys making some of the most incredible music.
Every track on this record means something to me.
I disagree that AB3 doesn't hold a candle to Blackbird. They're very different. That being said, it's a REALLY good problem when a band's fans fight over which album was the best and any fan looks at any of their album as a "once in a lifetime record" With that in mind, AB is tremendously underrated.
Dave Rogers I like AB3 Better
Blackbird and One Day Remains were musical master pieces!
The Alter Bridge formula was sorta still an experiment and a natural evolution up until ABIII. ABIII incorporated 2 new elements that hasn't been there in this form before and to which the band shouldn't have stuck:
1. They incorporated that Ghost Of Days Gone By intro guitar sound, that from there on is present in basically every other AB song. (and I hate it)
2. They took the initial AB lyrics formula of being as relatable but vage as possible and took it to a over-exaggerated cliche level, which just makes it cheesy and dull.
It's kinda like Breaking Benjamin changing their style after "So Cold" was dropped and became a huge success - they produced two whole stunning albums as an evolution of that sound (Phobia and Dear Agony) and then fell into the same ever repeating pattern, riding that formula to death and becoming a cliche and almost a parody of their own.
The fist two AB records will always be in my heart as two of my most favorite albums of all time, which I come back to every couple of months, but I honestly haven't dug out ABIII in 10 years after listening to it for a while right after it dropped. I checked out all the following albums to look how or rather IF the band evolved but AB by now is just a shadow of it's former glory. It's a shame.
@@Project_2501 i personally bileve Fortress was a masterpiece....Last hero felt kinda rushed and Walking in the sky was an expirement which actually was very good...AB 3 to me was fuckin awesome ....A major part of the audience were not a huge fan of it because of its really dark lyrics but as someone who is going thru and could relate to what Myles was Tryna say ...it felt so beautiful.....I don't think AB has gone anywhere ....Their fame is respect
@@Project_2501 Fortress is great
ABIII holds the candle
Myles! obsessing over the details is what MAKES greatness! love you guys!
The song Blackbird will be played at my funeral along with Pink Floyd's "Time". Those two songs pretty much say it all. Thank you, Alter Bridge.
These boys created an absolute masterpiece can’t express what it means to me
Great album! One of those albums with zero filler. Every song is a gem.
Greatest band EVER!
Mark tremonti is so god damn relatable
Genius. I loved this one it's so diverse and euphoric, they were very creative and I found a whole meaning in the lyrics of each song. They just did it all, I love AB.
How I wish I was working in the music industry just to witness things like that... It's magical. I wish I was surrounded by artists all the time. They're just feels. This is where life is.
I’ve had this Album since 2009 i believe. I believe somewhere around there. It was my 1st AB Album. I heard they had the entire band basically of creed, Tremonti, Brian marshal and Scott Phillips. I’m like I got to give them a chance now. Creed been one my favorite bands since 97. Blackbird really is one the greatest rock and metal albums ever created. It’s definitely a masterpiece
7:25 ... That last chord of the chorus "I'm coming home"... That's amazing.
5:30 there's a straight shot of mark playing Ties That Bind's main riff. This is the only place I've been able to find it. Super glad I watched this.
coming home . what a powerful song....
Wow! I haven't seen this since I bought the album. This was on the disc on its release. I watched it a bunch of times, as I loved Blackbird on first listen. I love little documentaries like this. I love these inside looks and the insight that this provides.
I can watch this day after day. They need to make another one of these.
The BEST of all Alter Bridge album imo
For me, One Day Remains best album from AB, but Blackbird also best and iconic 🤘
This couldn't get any better
@4:53 A rare sight of Mark Tremonti playing a strat type guitar.
Just the title track alone is a masterpiece of majestic ambiance.
ya give these guys an honest chance. They are one of the best bands I've ever heard. All 3 records are amazing and they're set to release a fourth this fall.
11:20 - 12:15 is why i love myles kennedy and alter bridge
+carson jendro agreed
Absolutely
Best album by Alter bridge
]
I don’t know any band that has so many good songs unreal !
4:57 dude, don't come in here! I'm playing a Strat!
Ha ha!
I think it was a tele
Alter Bridge. Best band ever! 🤘🏻
I love this! ~ Myles Kennedy, Mark Tremonti, Bryan Marshall, and Scott "Flip" Phillips documentary, interview...
This was so awesome. Thanks for uploading.

Absolutely an EPIC Album by an EPIC BAND!!!
Loved them and their Dedication!!
AB2 = Best Rock Album in the last 30 years
I would argue ever.
No
chumpy
I ageee
Hm, I love this record but I cannot decide between Blackbird and Sound of Madness by Shinedown.
Michal Kohút blackbird is miles above anything by shine down
One of my favourite albums of all time.
hands down the best hard rock album of the 21st century thus far
either this or Sound of Madness, Amaryllis by shinedown
I also disappeared into my room when I was 14...
He was in there floggin the bishop if you know what i mean
Very inspiring documentary about some very inspiring musicians. Thx for sharing this!
I could never rank their albums. All wonderful!
Thanks for watching and listening to my songs, Thanks for your love ❤️and moral support. I hope you have been well entertained over the years?
added this to favourites before the advert had even closed cause i know this is twenty minutes of quality time
That is the only time I have not seem Mark playing a PRS. Rare
Ryan B watch Creed at Woodstock ‘99. He played a gold top Les Paul before PRS came along! Even though it’s a single cut, it still seems weird
Mark fucking Tremonti.
Best album ever produced IMO!
Myles can officially sing
Love Myles listen to blackbird daily love it
You can actually tell they took their time and have dedication to what they do, where as guys like Wiz Khalifa just chew out the same shit everytime and everything seems like it doesn't come together well. Thats what I love about musicians that use real instruments like rock and country, they don't stop until it sounds just right. Pop lovers and rappers call rockers like Alter Bridge emo and untalented, but at least they take their time to make something different
the one wo told you Alter Bridge are untalented, please tell them there is no place for them in Earth and Heaven
Only Hell Belongs to them
For any guitar solo (OK, Myles &Mark trade off) to displace Jimmy Page’s solo on ‘Stairway’ as best guitar solo rated by fellow musicians, it cannot be just good. It has to be legendary... That adjective pales to the performance, but it is just mind-blowingly good!
I met all of them. Mark twice at a Tremonti Dying machine tour. Best memories ever. Fuck. I was already obsessed something special happened for me with this band. Maybe salvation. Now ive slipped into Tools void.😅
Tremonti is a very respectable player
also Myles is good at his Guitar as well
i just like the more heavy metal medieval aspects that Tremonti has
And a word from the bass player.....
Could be wrong but I think this was around the time he was just coming out from the alcohol etc issues so I guess that's at least partly why he wasn't featured. Not that he's done more than a handful of media pieces at any point since, of course.
BlackBird is the best AB song ever. I think their Original album is the best.
AWESOME!
In 2007 that was the álbum of the year . my name is Vincent Robin and i love singing to my Jesús crist i live in CUBA pinar del Río .
Scott Phillips is very under rated!
Amazing ... inspiring
Am I the only one who really felt horribly sad when Mark mentioned how he had no friends and was new in school for a year, I just imagine the loneliness must've been hard to put up with. 😥
Yeah 😢
Omg I love this! How have I never seen this before?!
Been a fan since the first album, and a creed fan before that
Best record yet. Hopefully you make 2016's album better!!
yep blackbird and ABIII are my two favorite AB albums
Austin Moser Yeah mine too
+Rawr McRawr “Tato” idk guys i really liked fortress there are ton of song that i like in fortress alterbridge is overrall a really good ROCK BAND !
john howards hell ya fortress is still a great album, just not my favorite
lucky me having this great album
Scott..you're underrated!! This i a great video..true to actual recording
Amazing story about recording song😮😮😮
Best vocal!
Thanks for the tip, I actually just bought the Wembley dvd a week ago.
Lol 11:30, Myles:" trying to finish watch over you....pain in the ass" xD
I only saw him playing a PRS in this one. In the early Creed days, before Mark got his signature guitar, he played Les Pauls.
SPITZE ...very Great, thanks from the Music Reportage ! 👍🤘
This are a Class Band !
Masterpiece. That is all
The GOAT!!!
Alter Bridge f****** rules 🤟🔥 I will always love and appreciate and be a fan and Miss Creed but I have to admit I absolutely love Alter Bridge glad to see my boys doing good shout out to Myles Kennedy❤
I used to think they don't have a hard time playing their own tunes and then Mark said with Blackbird it's a pain lol.
From Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to Tremonster. My fave band ever
I love all the AB records, but to this day my two favorite records are, in order, Blackbird and Last Hero.
jwebby85 blackbird and fortress for me
at 4:59 Mark's like "Oh shit, people are going to see me playing a Fender!"
Never knew about Myles Kennedy until I saw him in the movie rockstar
19:31 literally fucking me right now trying to learn that part of blackbird 😂🤘🏽
Myles Kennedy ladies and gentlemen.
Their first, and last truly great record. There are bright spots on their subsequent records, but nothing has been as good as a whole. Blackbird is a masterpiece hard rock record.
I personally think this and Fortress were top notch. Fortress and Cry of Achilles are amazing!
Awesome Videos Guys
Best Album!
00:56 fucking amazing
19:37 Hahaha fuck Im so glad he feels the same way. I have such a pain in the ass time to make this part sound perfect, just annoying cause its technically easy lol
