    Considering picking up one of these inflatable screens & have watched a few reviews on them. One review, they picked up a large tarp to put under it so that when they set it up & take it down, it keeps the dirt from the ground off of the screen. Love the tote you picked up for it! Thanks for the great review. I am in MI also & usually do a Halloween yard display, so I know what you mean about the wind in the fall! It can be brutal!

    • @hagenmi1
      @hagenmi1  2 года назад

      The tarp is a great idea. I thought about doing this as well. I think if you can get a tarp large enough to go under the screen and then fold the tarp over the deflated screen at night this would protect the screen enough to be able to roll the screen and pack away later the next day. One of the biggest culprits for staining the screen (besides moisture and dirt) are bugs that cling to the screen after deflating and packing away. The bugs die and their body juices then make small stains on the screen. Check out my new video which is a video on the 33ft model and the use of ground anchors and carabiner clips, game changer! I also have the 45ft screen, watch for that video soon. I also do a Halloween display with window projections from Atmosfear FX. Do you have videos or pictures of your display, I would love to see it.

      I agree, the 16:10 aspect ratio is an interesting choice. I asked the manufacturer why not 16:9 and it was to offer a different option from the competition. One positive aspect of the 16:10 is there is droop in the center top on the 33ft and larger screen and the extra space takes up the slack without impacting the picture.

      @@hagenmi1 those look amazing! Are you connecting them through Bluetooth? The challenge I’m having is once I plug my Firestick into my HDMI port on my projector the small internal speaker in the projector takes over and I can’t get the sound to play anywhere else.

      Yes all Bluetooth which makes setup and clean up really fast. From memory I either the volume all the down on the projector or when I pair the speakers to the Fire TV it stops sending audio to the projector speakers.
      Stay tuned this Spring and Summer I’ll be testing the 33ft screen and the 45Ft screen from Sewinfla!!!

    Thanks for the great video. Would a 2hp blower be too strong for a 24 foot screen?

    • @hagenmi1
      @hagenmi1  6 месяцев назад +1

      Why thank you! Yeah even the 33ft is only rated for a 1hp blower (750 watts). If you have no choice you can run the 2hp blower with the vent zipper partially or mostly open. Also the 2hp blower will be loud.

      @hagenmi1 I guess it won't hurt to have a back up blower on hand. I ordered the 750w blower so I will see how they stack up each other.

      @@DEREKBSHARP for sound I went with the echo studio pro paired with a fire stick streaming device. I would’ve loved to gone with large monitor speakers, but I have neighbors to consider. Check out the description above and there should be direct links to the gear. I considered getting another one but one seems to do the job pretty well. I have a dedicated theater room that’s full Dolby Atmos, so I didn’t really feel the need to go crazy with the outdoor sound.

    We're a church and we were thinking of buying the 24-foot screen to host downtown movie nights in our town. We have a 6000 lumen projector and pretty serious speaker power, so we're not too worried about those things, but how big of an audience do you think the 24-foot screen would be good for? We are wanting it to work for at least a couple of hundred people in lawn chairs. Thanks.

      @hagenmi1  Год назад +2

      Just saw this reply, 33ft is as small as i would go. You have more than enough lumens for either. I’m trying to get my video finished for the 45ft review, thats more than big enough for your needs but an absolute beast to set up without a small team and securing it down for wind is a challenge.

      @@Ryan-fosho I bought this screen and our church has already done some outdoor movie nights. Yes, 6000 lumens is loads for this screen. But 20 people comfortably? We have seated over 200 people per viewing with this screen and we could easily host double that on the lawn with this. We have two 120w powered speakers, one on each side, and it looks and sounds amazing. If we ran subs, the neighbors would surely compain.

      @@hagenmi1 Wind is a bit of a challenge even with the 24-foot screen. While the frame is fine with guy wires holding it, the white screen material bows in and out quite a bit in medium-light winds. I don't think this would be preventable with anything but a metal frame and a much more rigid screen material.

    • @hagenmi1
      @hagenmi1  2 года назад

      Great question, I don’t since I want to maximize time setting up and taking everything down for the evening. One certainly could pre-wire for a surround sound setup with permanent outdoor speakers. My indoor theater is a custom 7.2.4 Atmos setup. Even with that I’m impressed with the Amazon Echo studio pro for the outside setup. I may add another for more filling sound. I also have neighbors to consider with noise level. If I didn’t have neighbors, I would run a large PA 2.0 setup.

      ? Do you mean you wish to see videos in action? I didn’t because video quality is so dependent on the projector that is used. Plus recording video never pans out well. The screen has reflectively around 1.0 so any projector with 3200 lumens and above will be plenty to light the screen. If you do want to see some screenshots look for my video on the 33 foot model and at the very end of it I have some still shots. That particular projector is around 5000 lm and 15,000 to 1 contrast ratio I believe.
