    Cover the blower with the box, it definitely quiets the noise significantly

    Thinking of buying for a golf simulator. Do you think this will stand up to golf balls being launched into it!

      Hey that sounds like a rally cool idea. Yeah I think It would stand up to it, just gotta make sure you use the tie downs.

    these cheaper outdoor screens are ok for a 1 time party, but they don't last long. If your looking for something to be used frequently, there's some better options for around $400 with silent blowers, and stronger material that stay up straight

      Thanks for watching!
      To give you a little update, since the video we've had 3 Karaoke parties without any issues 🤞 we'll see how a full summer of use does but so far so good.
      The included tie downs are great for keeping the screen straight even with a little wind💨, we haven't had any issues with it blowing over yet.
      The blower could be quieter but since we have been using it while playing music we don't seem to notice. I'll keep you updated next time we watch a movie and see if the sound is an issue.

      I have one from amazon which was at around 200$. Far away from high end. Have it since 3 Years and many movie nights later it’s still completly fine. The blower noise is also absoluteley low and you don’t recognise it while watching movies. Especially in my area (living in the city) with all that traffic noise around.

    Dumb question lol is it as simple as just picking a channel and watching it or do i have to plug up my phone like mirroring to a tv??

    • @Stuffandus
      @Stuffandus  11 месяцев назад

      You have to use some type of projector to display the image on the screen. Normally you would connect the projector to something like a cable box, a streaming device like a Roku or Fire stick, laptop or any other device that you can hook up via HDMI or RCA Cables.
      Once you have your device connected to your projector you would use it like a normal TV. Either tune in to you favorite channel on your cable/satellite box or connect your streaming device to your Wi-Fi then launch your favorite app and watch your show.
      Hope this helps!

    What was the process of connecting the Roku to the projector?

    • @Stuffandus
      @Stuffandus  Год назад +1

      First off, thanks for watching!
      I connected the Roku to the projector with a regular HDMI cable, I used the same HDMI cable that I used to connect it to my TV inside the house. Once the Roku in connected to the projector with the HDMI cable, you need to change the input on the projector to HDMI. You should see the Roku home screen on your projector at this point. Last thing you need to do is connect the Roku to a WIFI source. If your using the same Roku unit you have inside your home outside, it should automatically reconnect to your homes WIFI network, if not you will need to go into the Roku's network settings screen and re-connect to a WIFI source.
      Hope this helps!
