Why is no one talking about the prophesies? They seem like such a clever foreshadowing: A song of past romance? Probably “I’m not sorry for loving you” The sacrifice of men? I think about “Scylla” Portrayals of betrayal and a brother’s final stand? Definitely “mutiny” Odysseus on the brink of death drawing his final breath? I guess it’s “get in the water” A man who makes it home alive but isn no longer Odysseus? Sounds like “King” to me
honestly, i think a 2D film would be better than stage - just the sheer amount of creative freedom you have with animation makes it ideal for musicals! (paraphrasing the late great Howard Ashman in this)
I love how " a man who makes it home alive but its no longer you " really doesn't mean that it isn't oddyseus but rather it wasn't the same man he was since he has embraced ruthlessness and has an entirely different set of morals as we can see in the song " King"
Out of the many stunning songs of Epic, this somehow resonated with me. I have been listening to this non-stop and even made my first RUclips Video for the audition. Though, it is probaly not good enough, I had so much fun making it. Anyways, thank you for this beautiful art work ❤
I've been following Epic for a while now and you wrote many, many beautiful songs, but this melody has something I can't get out of my head. If someone like me, who can't strike the right note to save her life and knows it, starts singing out loud, sure it's something powerful.
I found that song/singing by watching one animation. To be fair i thought that it was from some musical. To be fair it deserves atleast to be popular. Beautiful voice and instrumental line Words are perfect poetry and would fit perfetly some story. ❤

The lyrics and foreshadowing are amazing, the music is so haunting; both beautifully melancholy and otherworldly whilst still being so so human with the emotions imbedded. I love this so much!!!!
@patrickchruszcz6923 would be perfect for this! He played Tieresias in Antigone at the Minack Theatre and was amazing! And has the most incredible voice!

Both of you, it's an "upcoming musical", so this is what it's (hopefully and probably) gonna be. But right now, the concept album is in the works
