And if you think of it, it DID come out in the final Epic soundtrack, but in an inverted way, in I can't help but wonder, with Athena's line: "Maybe we can hold each other with a bit more empathy". In "This is the way", Athena suggests that empathy is not something to rely on. In the final Epic song, her character development signals that she believes empathy might be something to rely on... Incredible!
I've always wondered if the sirens were gonna make an appearance in Epic since the sirens are already singers so they'd be perfect for a musical depiction. I'd always assumed they'd been cut from the story since there were already so many other songs dedicated to various creatures and hostile encounters. If there was a siren song you could use the voice actresses for Athena, Penelope, Circe, and maybe even get a voice actress to play Odysseus's mom to try to lure him from the ship since lust isn't necessarily something he'd be lured by. Guilt is a much more overarching theme in Odysseus's character in this musical so I think the siren song being about his guilt over his mother's death, leaving Penelope for so long, losing Athena as an ally, and for sleeping with Circe would work for one of the main themes in the story. Such a combination of powerful voices edging towards the more sinister would be awesome too.
In the actual book, when Odysseus encounters the Siren's, they aren't trying flirt with him or anything like that. They're telling him about the wisdom he'll gain if he joins them. So it makes more sense that the women there aren't only romantic partners but friends and family too.

Turning “The blood on your hands is something you can’t lose” from Horse and the Infant into an absolute banger in that This Is The Way track certainly would’ve been a decision. While it’s a shame to lose it…it’s probably for the best, tone-wise.

All of the cut must've I've heard is amazing and would sound so great if the voices for the characters got to sing it I think it'd be a great idea to still make the songs when you're done epic but specify they just aren't cannon and add them to a different playlist, just with the cover of whatever saga they'd be in originally, that way we can hear all the cool things with the voices and you can put out all the songs you liked but couldn't put in cannon, plus more epic content ^^ (Praying for more Hermes and Your Light 🙏)

Ok, ok, I know the first clip was likely meant to be at the end of Calypso's section when Hermes tells him they can leave; I know this because of Jorge's AWESOME instrument associations with Calypso's being the hand pan (I think I hear this instrument in the background of this clip lol). Telemachus' clip is cut entirely so I'll ignore where it may have gone, BUT WHERE WAS THE MIDDLE CLIP MEANT TO GO??? I have been trying to analyze it but I can't figure out what instrument this may be in combo with character/situation. Jorge, if you read this, thank you SO MUCH for releasing this! It is a very fun game for my sister and I to try and place where these might have been, who sang what/who was sung to, and find out the possible plot explanations! ^^
