how is your metra faceplate so flush and nice with that radio... it does not fit my radio.. it's too narrow for the deck and it's like the radio is angled wrong.. or the faceplate is made for only 1 model of audio deck, do you think sanding down the edges is a good mod/idea? or should I look for another face plate?

no radio has sirius built in, any radio that says sirius xm ready means you have a connection in the back that can take a tuner box by sirius called the v300 which comes with 2 parts the tuner that plugs in the radio and an antenna that plugs in the tuner
My stock Radio/Navigation head unit is very slow sometimes. That is, sometimes I start the vehicle, put it in reverse and it takes 10 to 30 seconds for the backup camera to show, with general user interface speed being non-optimal. Looking for a replacement radio that is faster with great integration with the vehicle. For example, when adjusting the A/C temperature controls, on the stock system it shows what temperature you are setting it at, but if I replace the unit this functionality will be lost and I'll never know what the temp is set at. To make matters worse, I have the EV (electric vehicle) version of the 2016 and there's some info I'd need to be able to access, like battery level, etc.
Did you just lose the radio controls? Or did you also lose the cruise control, drive mode and trip reset? I'm about to do one on my wife's car and I'm having trouble finding a steering wheel control module. She can live without the volume controls but not so much the rest

I have a 2013 Kia Soul and the radio won’t turn on. Trying to get a fix now for over a year with little to no luck
There is a big yellow fuse in the fuse box on driver side dash. Check it and see if it's loose or blown.
If you replaced the stereo and it's not working you need to connect your amp wire to 12 v
