Bradford Guardians are the best fixed blades I’ve had the privilege to use. For out in the bush, for EDC, for whatever. Impeccable build quality with a luxurious feel that’s still tough as all hell. The 5.5 and 3.5 were big time performers for me all summer.
Nice stuff. Oh & btw if one had a scabbard made for those kitchen knives then they'd instantly become a gaucho knife. They even have the finger choil for thrusting already. Which is pretty standard for both gaucho knives & knives used in a similar way in the canary islands.
I own the Dawson Knives Smuggler and I use it as my EDC. The build quality is unbelievable and they literally only use Magnacut from what I remember. Cerakote is also applied and the factory sharpness is razor sharp. I’m surprised they aren’t mentioned as much. They’re a 3rd generation knife company and the stuff they make is world class.
I am making Altoids stationary kit. Please suggest - 1) Liquid glue which can be used repeatedly 2) Transparent tape which can be cut without scissors 3) Compact slim stapler
I’ve carried a thicker parring knife edc for years off and on. Don’t carry that one anymore because I tend to rotate knives when I get something new. The parring knife was very sharp. Had a spasm in my hand and cut the tip of my finger off with it while cutting leather.
Great preview! Great fixed blades. I EDC a Winkler Crusher Belt knife with rubber handles or a Scallywag tactical and TOOR knives collaboration knife called the MUTINY. They are both really good for all of my knife tasks. Have a great day
We’d like a video on blade designs/steels that can skin and food prep but are also tough enough for hard or even defensive use with a good handle/sheath keeping edc in mind. A fixed drop point-ish blade in the 3.5min-4.25max” range that doesn’t have too much or too little handle scales to carry comfortably but still be useful. Focused on all round so definitely not a tanto, wharnie, or recurve/Karambit style. I’ve only owned/handled maybe 100 knives(not counting kitchen knives lol), at this point the Microtech Socom alpha mini does a pretty good job of being an “all rounder” in my opinion). A top 10-20 in that category/range would be great! I’ve liked all your videos cause I’m a knife guy so keep doing what your doing but specialty vids on a “Jack of all trades” fixed blade would be appreciated(sounds funny/incorrect when I word it that way but I’m guessing your picking up what I’m putting down lol).
I got the sr1 tanto lockback. After a bit of work and lube, that thing will go straight into limb removal mode too. Five minutes after putting a razor edge on it, I was on my way to the er for stitches! My SRK doesn't pull that sh!t
Bought probably 25-30 knives from them and no hacks so far, I’d say that’s a trustable hack to no hack ratio lol, but in all seriousness yeah you’re safe dude
that esee is really dope, but I am not too crazy about the "first production run" stamping on it. Probably irrelevant to most, but I just do not care for it. Same with tops. I love tops knives and own a few, but I feel they stamp too much stuff on their blades such as names, blade steels, serial numbers, designers, etc............ I don't know, I just appreciate a more subtle approach to branding.
Been hearing terrible stories about Blade HQ. Seems the knife community is dropping them due to customer service issues. Are you guys going under and cant handle service issues anymore? Looks like at least a hundred reports on youtube alone.
I ordered 2 knives from blade HQ over the holiday season and had to return one. No questions asked. Straight back to blade HQ and received my full refund. Easy
Why would ESEE contract out with White River? Same with Cold Steel. If I wanted to buy a White River; I would buy it from White River. Just because it has a different name on it doesn't make it something else.
"Heard you like fixed blades" --- Live, 3 fixed blades in the video. Excuse me nani dafuq? Thumbs down, this is barfish marketing click-bait material. No thank you, BHQ. Wtf happened.

Plus one: “Not enough fixed blades!”

Did George really suggest EDC'ing a kitchen knife??? I guess if you're Michael Myers. 😂
sick butterfly flips
Favorite fixed blade for EDC: Hogue Extrak

That M311 is a beautiful design.
I love all these knives, however...I need a good camping/Bushcraft knife in a more moderate price point... suggestions?
Morakiniv companion spark. Cheap but awesome. I use it all the time in the woods
We need a video about the best wharncliffe pocket kives
I would love if y’all brought back blade banter. That’s what sucked me into y’all’s channel! Love y’all’s vids though.
fixed blades are by far my favorite
If that Essee gets made in s35vn I'll be snatching it up for sure. Heck, might snatch it to anyways!

Tldr
Nice. I love me some fixed blades.
I like the Esee very much
What hatchet is that on the wall behind you?
Awesome video thanks
Would love to get me a reiff maganacut some day
BIG FIXED BLADES MAN!!!!...........HUUUUUGE STUFF!....COME ON LETS SEE SOME MAN SIZED KNIVES
That Esee should be called the Izula pro 😉

How come I never see any Cobratec knives being reviewed?
Im thinking about buying a Kershaw Launch 4 from your website, can I trust that I won't get hacked from buying from blade hq?
Bought probably 25-30 knives from them and no hacks so far, I’d say that’s a trustable hack to no hack ratio lol, but in all seriousness yeah you’re safe dude
I actually thought that new esee was a larger izula. Then you said you have tiny hands and I'm like "ooooh makes sense now"
I buy a few of those Esis if i was made out of stainless😊
What is that hand axe in the background
I'm getting into Neck Knives & affordable Auto's..
Yay 😁, fixed blade 😁

Those XL ColdSteel blades do nothing for me. Clownishly big. Silly.
This is true
Why do you still not use timestamps??
The new EDC trend, kitchen knives!? 🤔
maybe. but it will depend on where you live, ofc.
Been hearing terrible stories about Blade HQ. Seems the knife community is dropping them due to customer service issues. Are you guys going under and cant handle service issues anymore? Looks like at least a hundred reports on youtube alone.
Personally I prefer knife works. Never had a single issue out of several several blades purchased from them.
I have ordered a boker from blade HQ never had any issues
Hope not, just bought a Kunwu Tao 2
I ordered 2 knives from blade HQ over the holiday season and had to return one. No questions asked. Straight back to blade HQ and received my full refund. Easy
Never had issues, in fact they are great because they work with me on shipping because I have to deal with package thieves
That Essee could have also been made by Tops the handle screams tops to me.
Nah, too rounded. Every TOPS knife I've ever handled felt like a 2x4, thick 'n square.
Fixed blades ! We need more mens knives!
Do you have Tiktok channel? It seems like a few are copying your videos on Tiktok
Never mind
finally
SUCH A SHAME! ITS SOOOOOOOOO GOOD LOOKING! Still want one.... guess I'll just look at it and flip it then BANG it closed!! Lolol!😂
Really?? Someone asked about fixed blade knives and you show "Small" fixed blades! Might as well show folders.
No it is
would a bali flipper flip if no one could ever see them flip:
ADHD enters the chat
Title says "fixed blades". Intro says fixed blades. Video goes like this:
1 fixed
2 folder
3 kitchen knife
4 balisong
5 fixed
6 fixed
etc....
Not cool imho
Still not enough fixed blades😂😂
I have fixed blade designs.
EDC a kitchen knife.... you mean like a facon.
What's the deal with a video called "heard you like fixed blades" being fifty percent folders?
I find gingers, dwarfs and left handed people unsettling.
Yes they are. I dont care for knotlicks, boneheads, and wackaloo’s. 🇺🇸🇨🇳🍼✌️🤪🤪🤨😏
Yes and they left that ridiculous jumping off the Knife, good job tops😊
That cold steel is pricey for a folder.
Let me say there is way too many fixed blades in this video. FOLDERS for life.
No
Sometimes you need the solid build of a full tang fixed blade. Especially camping or such
Fixed Blades 💪

Here to make fun of the poors bitching about Benchmades prices
