Install Under-Engine Front Splash Shield 74111-SHJ-A02 2008 Honda Odyssey Mechanical Restore Project

In this video, we are installing an aftermarket splash shield. It worked out okay, but an OEM shield likely would have fit better and perhaps been somewhat more sturdy once installed.
One thing to note is that it takes two different size clips. Most holes take the 10 mm clip but a few were 8 mm. I simply used the 10 mm clips that I bought by drilling out the holes that were 8 mm to 10 mm.
Honda OEM # 74111-SHJ-A02 Shield Front Splash price is about $70-$90, depending on the source.
Aftermarket shields can be purchased in the $30-$40 range (EBAY, etc). Often, aftermarket shields do not fit as well and are not as rigid on the vehicle, and may take some modification, such as drilling out holes or using ZIP-TIES to attach to the vehicle.

Thanks for the comment! Amazon has them listed from 33$ to 50$. Searched: 2008 honda odyssey engine under cover body bolts splash shield guard. Dealers get about $75 to $110 for OEM, which is a little better quality, IMO.
