I'm in a similar position. I recently bought a 1991 xlh1200 (HD Sportster) from a buddy of mine, had a few issues that came with it. Previous owner broke an exhaust stud, he drilled it out to extract the broken stud.. however he drilled off center. Now the stud hole is 1mm too close to the exhaust port. I've looked up ways to fix/correct this issue (ideally not using a tig torch and filler rod) and i've come up with a couple solutions. This idea to use a dowel rod to center punch the actual cent of the stud hole is a great idea. I'll be trying that technique out first. i've made a home made helicoil insert using a 1/2" Bolt to cover the misalignment.

I believe that you have the exact model of oven as I do, my serial and model number have rubbed off. Could you possible send me your make and model or serial number so I can find the Owners Manual to download.

Thanks for the video. Another way to cool the bolt is to use one of those air can dusters. Hold the can upside-down when spraying. It's super cold.

71 YS is not really a hiperf motor, it was 8-1 comp, with the 067 cam and 96 heads, it was rated at 300hp, 71 they started dropping the comp ratio from 10.75, and the hiperf cam was the 068, 744 or 041, it's an ok engine, not original to the car but seems itself to be intact.

Can put a 14t 28t sprocket

my big toe and I thank you so much! i had dropped the door on my foot several times before finding your video. my unit has this exact type of hinge, and even the manual doesn't describe the need to have that little locking mechanism all the way back like that in order to put the door back on. also, my unit has screws (unrelated to the locking mechanism) in the way of opening the locking mechanism all the way back. I was able to pry the hinge upward by leveraging the hilt of a flat head screwdriver, being careful not to scratch the enamel, and tap the locking mechanism over the unrelated screw and into the hole that the hinge comes out of. Then the door went on easily on the first try and I locked it tight :) Anyway, thanks a bunch!!!

Ok kids 2006 envoy gear selector stuck in the park position problem. After finding the interlock button I discovered the hole problem was the cable end at the transmission had come apart and the transmission was stuck in drive so no crank and the interlock wouldn't work ether god you got to love the GM engineering
