    How many yards of fabric would you say you average per overgown? I'm in the process of my first historically accurate recreation of an Anne Boleyn dress made with historically recreated fabrics based on her inventory during life and I'm astounded by the yardages..

      Hi, yes there’s a lot of fabric in each gown. Based on 44” width fabric, there’s approx 10 yards top fabric plus 10 for lining. For the Kirtle and sleeves it’s approximately 5 yards top fabric, plus the same lining. So in all about 30 yards. Good luck with the Anne Boleyn gown. It’s so worth the effort ☺️💕
