It rarely rains here in Sicily - but when it rains, it pours; the streets become streams. I have bright red rubber ankle boots for those days. And vinyl leggings, especially useful on the bike
Wellies are not a trend where I live, but some people do wear stylish rainboots on rainy days. I have a leopard print pair. They don't, however, offer any warmth, so they're not for cold weather. I like wearing mostly block-heeled ankle boots or chelsea boots with my jeans, then knee-high boots with skirts and dresses.
The Colorado equivalent to Wellies are hiking boots ( : I have always had a soft spot for colored trainers for the past 20 years, (but I did break my habit for white ones when they became a trend.) In winter, we need at least 2 pairs of snowboots, 1 nice duckboot style for nicer outfits SORELs, 1 for shoveling snow, and a pair of crampons for icier hikes. I have 2 pairs of over-the-knee for more elevated outfits, 1 pair riding style boots, 2 pairs of ankleboots for casual wear, snowshoes for snowshoeing, and trainers for the gym. Other locals might have snowboard/ski boots (I have to rent mine).
I love wearing loafers in the autumn and winter with socks. I also love ankle boots. I live in a very mild climate (Scottsdale, Arizona), so we don't have to worry about snow and we have little rain.
May I recommend DuoBoots to the lovely ladies in the comment section? ❤ Their boots come in different calve sizes and even shaft heights and they’re quite durable and classic ❤

Spot on suggestions. Love all the boots and I like the ideas with coloured trainers. Thank you as always Gemma
Thanks Val 💕

It really does vary for everyone doesn't it
I really like the way you style the tweed blazer jeans and riding boots. 🙂
Thank you
Hi, Gemma! Good to see you. Next week is thanksgiving in the States. Happy holidays❤
My way around the colored trainers trend is a pair in a pewter metallic that goes with everything and adds a subtle ‘zhuzh’ to any every outfit.
Love the outfits - not so keen on the shoes/boots from the brand. Not really my style. Great inspo as always 👍🏼

1:42 the leather boots don't fit around the calf. A good pair of boots should.
I mention that in the video 😊
