Us train nerds can be real nitpickin' besserwissers.. The train model is "X2". The travel product is named "X2000". Eg compare with the UK travel product "The Flying Scotsman", which can be hauled by a locomotive of eg "class 92". And to be complete with this, the "X2" is the complete set. It is something in between a loco with carriages and an EMU. It has one "power unit" (like a loco) but the whole set is a unit that is not split or re-arranged (just like an EMU). Tilting is for passenger comfort only. The power unit (loco) does not tilt. But it sure is nice! IMO the best train currently running in Sweden (although I still haven't tried the X40 and ER1..)
Thanks for all the great information! I agree that it's a great train and if I find myself on one again, I'll be sure to update my facts in that video :)
And to be even more nitpicky, the power unit is the X2, the first class carriage is the UA2, second class carriage is the UB2, the bistro carriage is the URB2, and the driving trailer is the UB2X. The whole consist is also called X2, and X2000 is the the marketing product for this particular train set, but the travel product in general is SJ Snabbtåg, which also includes the SJ3000 product operated by the X55 train set
Linköping looks very industrial but it's acctualy just a quite smal industrial zone. Linköping is more of a "study" city than a industrial one, while Norrköping is the opposite. Depending on the time of day you may see me in Åby right before Norrköping doing some railfanning.
Let’s take a time to appreciate the fact that some countries are still using the ic3 regional trains🥹 i really love them! It feels nice but kinda sad that we are soon switching them out to new deisel trains, i really love the way that israel, denmark and sweden have the same model but with different colours and chairs❤️

It´s the seat of a bishop too. Maybe a cathedral.
Bad luck riding on this old train just month before its totally renewed.
What is the date of the trip?
I took this trip on April 13, 2023!
