Greg Cronin Is he going to be fired by the Anaheim Ducks
Coach Dave Hakstol did a good job in Seattle IMHO ,but, when a team underperforms, the coach is going to get canned--getting the Kraken to the playoffs was great, but, then, when they regressed, his days were numbered. Thanks for the breaking news update.
I could see this job going to one of three people: Dan Bylsma, the team's AHL head coach, Jay Leach, current assistant coach of the Kraken or Joe Sacco, an assistant coach with the Bruins.

It was a bad hire from the start.
I mean he got them to the playoffs and won a round vs. the defending champions. I wouldn’t say it was a bad hire. Especially in their second season when they had a tougher hurdle to build a team than Vegas did.

Should have had a sustainable team at this point, and at very least been in the playoffs this year.
Dean Evason would be a good one but the next coach has to be able to develop players. Hakstol will be a great X’s and O’s analyst on TV. Knows the game inside and out and had success at North Dakota. Very respectable at post game pressers.
Please not Evason.

Hakstol was a great keeper in his day, he had some great goalie fights and put up some decent numbers. But it was time for Seattle to move on...
Umm. I think you’re thinking of Ron Hextall. This is Dave Hakstol. He was hired by Ron Hextall to coach the flyers in 2015.

Bruce Boudreau would be a good fit for Seattle
Bruce Boureau wouldn't be a good fit anywhere.
