Fab play through series. Really helped. Thank you.
You did this extremely well, I think. You lay out the rules with good pace and covering everything properly, as far as I am concerned.
Thanks Liz, your videos helped me notice a couple of mistakes I was making. The worst one was that I was using 1SO point to pay for each ordnance point instead of every 10 ordnance points!!! And the second really bad one was moving and then fighting instead of before/during/after movement. This will change the game quite a bit.
You've done a few war game play throughs I think it's awesome! In my opinion they are the best solo experiences if you want strategy and puzzly. This is a great introductory war game. I wish there were more walkthroughs for people who are like me and visual learners. Kudos to you!
Thanks for watching! And there are more on the way. ;)
On my wishlist! You have a nice voice too!
You did not spend the 1 SO point for F-15 Air Cover target bound mission event card. This was a great demonstration video though.
You are awesome!
This game looks awesome. I'm looking to dip into wargames, looking at the Leader series as a place to start.
I'm a huge TAL fan, my favorite in the Leader series by far. A bit of a pain in the butt to get going with it, but then it's so fun.
Really enjoying this!
I think you put that APC at hex 7, while you rolled a 6.
This game is in shrink wrap but I intend to get it out for a game this weekend thanks to the setup video and walkthrough.
Did you?
Want to trade D10's? I did well on my first mission in Iraq with Surge but then got hammered by AAA in the second mission.
You have to eliminate taking hits to an absolute minimum, I think. Throw in a couple of fast pilots and a couple of GBU-16s to be sure.
@@amundbisgaard7295 thanks, I've been going with more pilots as opposed to fewer ace pilots. The pop ups can be very dangerous, but staying high has its own issues.
@@neeleyfolk Yeah, but an F-16 with a fast pilot and a couple of GBU-16s, an AGM-65 and the best AIM can take out most threats pretty fast, even the occasional pop-up chopper. Much depends on terrain and enemy deployment, though.
wow was i ever playing this game wrong...
I mess up in every game I play. On camera. :| I figure as long as you're having fun, you're good to go!
@@BeyondSolitaire Agree. I feel like these military games with their love of letters/numbers instead of names makes things harder to remember too. Instead of a "hellfire missile" it's an AGM-114; instead of a "harrier jet" it's an AV-8A. My eyes just gloss over and my brain never remembers. I'm gonna check out your other stuff for games that look fun :-)
