I spent two hours the other night in creative trying to get the pearls stable in a bubble column. Honey blocks did not occur to me at all. Thank you for this.

Mine is super inconsistent idk why. Half the time when i close trapdoor on pearl it just doesnt teleport me back. It seems like it always works if its only been a few mins since i threw the pearl, but if its been like an hour it never works.
Ya so the thing is it worked when I tried it in creative then while playing with my friends I went like 2000 blocks away then asked them to close the trapdoor but it never teleported me the pearl just disappeared 😮💨
It wasn't working for me but I managed to get it working with an additional honey block below the one he placed and instead of a trapdoor, use a piston.
try to throw the enderpearl pointing slightly into the honey block not directly into water, i think they changed something with the enderpearl hitbox or maybe the honeyblock idk i haven't figured it out yet
Following y'all's instructions, I added an additional honey block (underneath the original), swapped the trap-door for a piston and was still having trouble with the throw. So, I added a little hop and threw it while in the air. THEN it worked... Kinda. I left (several dozen chunks away) and it didn't work... I had to toggle the censor on/off to get it to work. How far away is this working for y'all?

Yeah sometimes just keep doing aiming at edge of block. Place a honey block on top of trapdoor then crouch and aim at edge of honey block, look down and throw it, ender pearl should stay there. If can't just place a cobblestone wall next to you
@@Ed_1238 Wdym u pulled the lever if the pearl was thrown by your friend then why it disappeared that's weird. I have experienced that if u leave that pearl chamber in unloaded chunks then going to the nether and go back to overworld, once u get closer to the chunk of pearl chamber u noticed the pearl was despawn
This tutorial is better unlike the other ones I seen with lots of redstone.
Are you stupid it’s useless because to use it you have to be within like 5 five blocks of it when you could just walk those five blocks

I will add a daylight sensor to this so that I can teleport home at night
The chunk needs to be loaded for the sensor to activate

@@amarelospaceo think they changed with the borders of the honey-block. Before on the border you could walk and just normally but now you can’t.

Yeah sometimes just keep doing aiming at edge of block. Place a honey block on top of trapdoor then crouch and aim at edge of honey block, look down and throw it, ender pearl should stay there. If can't just place a cobblestone wall next to you
