Lair of the Shadow Broker was and remains still one of the greatest pieces of DLC ever released. Loved every minute of it. Come to think of it, I loved every minute of ME2!!!
I've played the whole trilogy over and over again, like, well, 10 or 15 times each game this 2020. Got a lot to play, but I look at all these other games and their main character and tell them "you can fight like a krogan, run like a leopard, but you'll NEVER be better than Commander Shepard. I should go." And then I go back to creation interface of ME1.
Same here! I've played through the entire game eight times now, and I haven't regretted a single second. Mass Effect 3 is the best game of the year (so far).
Yeah I saw that too, though I'm guessing if it happens, whoever your Shepard is in a relationship with won't find out, unless it only happens if your Shepard hasn't already sealed the deal with his or her prospective partner. I am very much looking forward to playing this DLC and I don't have very long to wait to get it.
'The final hours' documentary app revealed that Javik was initially the catalyst. Leviathan alludes to the StarChild, therefore, 'foreshadowing'. Omega had code imprints on the ME3 disc, which is how it was leaked before Bioware announced it. One of the writers admitted that two of the team were forced into writing the ending alone and without any redrafts, because E.A wanted it shipped and ready. Don't assume you can refute someone without actually disproving what they've said.
the shadow broker wasn't a new character, he had been set up in mass effect, and there was some story behind him there, so lair of the shadow broker would've made sense to be in the game, but it doesn't really make much difference not being in it
They didn't know what to make them look like. There was only one seen prior to this, for a single panel in a comic. Chances are we're going to see female Cabals(Turian Biotics) in Multiplayer soon.
Javik was initially going to be the catalyst, when that changed he became DLC. Leviathan was then going to explain the Reaper origins and sort of foreshadow the starchild, so it wasn't a complete deus ex machina, they then made the error of cutting it out for DLC. Omega was clearly intended to happen within the story, after defeating Cerberus in the Omega system the reach of Cerberus diminishes across the galaxy, leading up to the final assault on TIM. E.A's thirst for cash spoilt the game.
same here in fact I've got it but haven't played it yet was planning to start another playthrough of Mass Effect tommorrow sso when I get to 3 I'll play the Omega mission then
Sounds fun; they can even include the 'Shepard yells at kids to keep offa his lawn' and the infamous, "Shepard gets drunk at the VFW while reminiscing about when he was somebody". Looking forward to the chat options for the 'Shepard speech at the Reaper War Anniversary Parade'. "I saved the galaxy ya punkr!" "Whatever gramps. You STILL need to pay your bartab!" Renagade: Try to grab kid's throat (result: tossed out of bar) Para: Pay bill and leave before beer is diluted by oldman tears
The size of the DLC is the largest Bioware has released, 2GB so hopefully it will be quite a long mission, longer than the Leviathan DLC. I'm also guessing it will have some added impact to the end since Aria helped you get the Merc groups, but I guess we will see as I'm at the point in the game were the only mission I have left to do is going to TIM's base which is the final mission before the end.
From ashes: new teammate... whole new teammate Leviathan: trilogy fans answers solves Citadel: Fan service Omega: Extra action Play the the game a stfu or gtfo!!!
Agreed Shadow Broker is a fantastic Dlc, plenty of content and no shortage of rewards, and I think you're right about the Microsoft points, it wasn't too expensive if I recall.
Next DLC idea: Have a post game where you play as Sheppard who lives and you make your final goodbyes to friends after the war until you finally retire with your romance(If with Tali you get to see her 3D face in game play)
Don't you just love it when people complained about their being no omega play and then they finally make it and the same people who asked for it are like doesn't matter cause of the ending. Hey just b glad to have an excuse to play something new again for mass effect.
These 3 games in this trilogy are beyond epic they are without a doubt the greatest games i have ever played and i have played my share, to call them bad is moronic, not to mention you are probably one of those that refuses to accept the IT theory just because 'the game didn't say it was the IT' use your brain, would such a well written game really blow it at the end like this? Possibly yes, but NOT when there are hidden hints and explanations for it in the game itself. BW never denied the IT.
Bioware did deny indoctrination theory, the writers literally said they weren't smart enough to come up with that and were amazed at how fans were able to craft it lmao
@@Whoami691 Just in case my link comment doesn't show (youtube sometimes auto deletes them now), just google "the gamer bioware writers indoctrination theory" They spoke to one of the ME3 writers, who also worked on ME1 and ME2
Giant Bomb, Nostalgia Critic, Zero Punctuation, Angry Joe, Metacritic, PSM, PC gamer etc. all good examples of balanced critics and reviewers, no one takes stock of IGN or Gamespots reviews. And their is no 'Self Righteous crusade' thing going on, ME3 For all its faults is a great game. I don't have a problem with differing opinions I DO have a problem with douchebags that lash out at those who don't agree with them and views on said game are biased and unreasonable (signs of a bad critic)
1. Why Aria stay on the Citadel after ending of DLC?! 2. Why anyone in crew don't saying anything about this in dialog? 3. There is Omega on map?! 4. Why adjutant are meeting only in DLC, they are not includet even in Cerberus Bace!?
Heh nice, but was hoping something that shed some light on prothean mystery or something related to them. New ME game with prothean focused content would be epic.
No Collectors? It's already worse than the cut version of Retake Omega. Originally the Omega section of Mass Effect 3, which was cut from the final game due to time constraints, was supposed to be the part that made your decision on the Collector base matter. It was also where you met Zaeed again, and had to fight him.
Lair of the Shadow Broker was and remains still one of the greatest pieces of DLC ever released. Loved every minute of it. Come to think of it, I loved every minute of ME2!!!
This trailer would have been even better if it kept in the glitches during Aria's speech.
Honestly they could've skipped the whole thing... was pretty flat if I recall
How is it possible for this to still give me goosebumps after ME3's Ending.. HOW!
Music: Strength Of A Thousand Men - Two Steps From Hell
cant. stop. watching.
Hmm... I think the most awesome part of this is the fact that "Strength of a Thousand Men" is playing in the background!
2021 and still playin' it
petrovskiy blet
2020!! I’m going to have to play the whole trilogy until a new mass effect or dragon age comes out....I should go!
Unfortunately if there is a mass effect remaster it won't be for a while.
Bioware are still trying to fix the mess that is anthem
@@TorchedSong183 ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT

an amazing dlc and a good choice of song too "strength of a thousand men" by two steps from hell
I finished this dlc yersterday for my first time. It was freaking awsome!!!!
Thank you!
I swear, I've been looking for this track for a while now.
Andjelkovic Dennis : Ich hab endlich meine Firma zurück 😈👍
I was so pissed when you couldn't go to Omega in ME3. It was the coolest level in ME2. Defiantly gonna play this.

Citadel.
But Omega isn't that bad, I got them both.
I got them all
Literally or figuratively?
Thank you. So much sir.
Aria was looking at a wall while she was giving the speech
I have to agree and it also appears that none of your teammates are there at all either from this trailer.
I LOVE MASS EFFECT
Woah, we got a badass over! Also, nice come-back bro. Really put alot of thought into that, didn't ya?
Amen to that brother!
Mass Effect Series is one of the most EPic game series ever made on this planet..
A female Turian... and she is a biotic! Two things we've never seen!
i didnt knew why but something was missing and it was theme music

i like the fact that is it the first time ever for anyone to see a female turian in the game
The song in the background is strength of a thousand men by two steps from hell
Can't wait for this to go on sell.
I totally agree with you. A hundred times over
Is the music from 1:08 in the soundtrack? anyone know what is called?
I do care about the ending, but Mass Effect has always had an epic storyline. Even throughout Mass Effect 3 it was pure epicness.
THE SONG IS: Two Steps from Hell - Strength of a Thousand Men
@gohsha there are actually 7 endings...
Two steps from hell music on mass effect trailers = epic win
This coming from the person who incorporates video games and societal evolution in the same topic.

what's the name of the music used it this?
it is, it is.... but that ending... it has changed everything...
anyone else see the meteorite that looks like the Death Star under the ship at 1:12?
"Strength of a Thousand Men" by Two Steps From Hell. It lacks the vocal chorus, however.
Because some Batarian will throw you out of an airlock apparently.

Ray Muzyka left Bioware to pursue his medical carrier......
i hear some strength of a thousand men

2gb really. And call of duty is releasing 64gb with hardly any content lol

Yup! I've seen it in the comic before!
I'm surprised Aria didn't bring up how TIM had Kai Leng kill her daughter Liselle in the books during this DLC
maybe he didn't want to? I wouldn't brag about my child getting killed in her place either
Fukin Goosebumps!
it seems aria loves shepard in a mean way
Ah yes, Nyreen, still sad that she died, i wished for her to meet Garrus.
Yes, it was.
And neither were the people who were fine with the game after the release of the Extended Cut
music?

That's like saying lair of the shadow broker should of been in game because Liara was in a "set up position".

They didn't even write the story for this until AFTER the game was released. But other than that, I agree, it should be free.

I know.
