Definitely one of my favorite movies! Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis were the BEST comedic duo to ever perform! So sad to see Jerry Lewis pass away today. There will never be another great comedian like him.

Alyssa Alvarez agree with you I am just glad we got RUclips to enjoy them even when they are gone. Cause they are still picking me up when I am down.

I like watching the old movies because it was back when the actors really worked hard. Nowadays actors complain they are tired when they do two or three movies a year or thirteen episodes of a television show. Martin and Lewis did the radio show, television show, movies and nightclubs. And that was back when they would do forty episodes of a televison show.

Next to That's Amore, What Would You Do Without Me is another favorite of mine from The Caddy. Dean and Jerry had fun with it, you can tell.

I absolutely agree! This is one of my favorites, but the whole generation produced the best movies ever made. I would rather watch Carey Grant than Tom Cruise ANY day!

3:50 A microphone that goes into the ground. Ok, in the parallel universe of Hollywood movies, the singers are perfect audible everywhere.

Am I the only one that asked Google what would she do without me and took them to this video???? 😂

Would be this song a prophecy? Some years later, they would be asking that question. The audiences would be asking that question. In this movie, however, it seems that this day would never come. That´s why I love "The Caddy".

At the beginnin’ of this clip they’re recreatin’ their famous between-shows routine from when they played the Paramount Theater in July 1951-if you look it up on here you’ll see that what they did here (leanin’ out the window, talkin’ to the fans packin’ the street outside the theater and throwin’ them autographed photos) is exactly what they did then. The idea behind it was to get the crowd out of the theater after teach show so that the next group of fans could then go in, and be seated for the next show.

5:10. Geez! I can't believe he did that, hope that they didn't have to shoot that too many times.. He ended up hurting his back in one of those comedic falls and was addicted to pain killers for a dozen or so years. What you have to go through to being an entertainer....
