    Interesting system. When you first explained it, I thought it wouldn't work. If you're rolling field numbers, this is incredible. I think this might be interesting to play at a choppy table. All too often I see people roll a bunch of Field numbers after establishing a point and eventually 7-out.

    @5:40, you should have put $50 in the field since you'd just lost a field bet on the 7. It would have hit that next roll, meaning your end total would be $25 higher.

    I always play the do and the don’t with the 12 in mind as a consequence so I will do a crap check on the come out. Tables in my area start at $25 and most weekends are $50 and $100. This way I get action, I am eligible to shoot when it’s my turn and it basically let’s me turn the table minimum into what I want whether that be $0 or any amount above the minimum on the do or don’t line. This is a GREAT strategy when dealing with the high rent district. 😊

    If I could get 2 and 12 to pay triple like on your table, I'd go for it, but now-a-days your lucky to get one of them to pay triple. If I did it, it would do it without the martingale. An $800 bet to win $25 is definitely crazy

  • @cpolitz
    @cpolitz 2 года назад +3

    So I kind of like this one to be honest, especially for a $25 table which has ruined me before. You have about a 2% risk of ruin on this though. As I got up I would probably put more odds out instead of establishing more points. Most the steady money is coming from the field and occasionally you get lucky and hit a double payout on a large martingale. Really gets the blood pumping when you have $400 on the field. Probably for degens only but definitely trying this out next time I happen upon only $25 tables.

    It's an interesting strategy but you need a large bankroll as I ran this through a simulator with only $500 and it went okay for a while but what killed me was 4 back to back 8s and before I knew it I martingale'd everything away on the field and a 7 out finished me off.

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  2 года назад +1

      Yep, the martingale is the big hole here. If you can avoid six non field in a row I guess it's fine, but it will eventually bite, and bite big.

    If the dont bet ends up on the 4 or 10, I lay odds on that and the dont pass line. no odds on 5 and 9. I place odds bets on the 6 and 8 if the come bet goes there and odds on pass line. My odds are determined by either the 4/10 or 6/8. I stay neutral on 5 and 9. If that makes sense. I play mathematically not hunches

    The classic dealer stroke job , a lot of work for our boys on the table , make sure you’re tipping well if you play this type of system, also if not for the field bet which could pretty much be played without all the strokey bets , he would have lost or broke even , so again make sure to tip those dealers on this one

    If you boil this one down, it seems like just Martingaling the field with the other bets being pretty level. So, on a short term, you have a decent chance of positive returns, but also the risk of a catastrophic loss.

    High Volatility indeed. I can see this as a way to get comps over time in a fairly risk free way (the 12 being a minor but still present hole) odds don't really get rated from what I can see, but you could always increase your flat bet in order to increase your average bet.

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  2 года назад

      Yeah, really the field bet is the volatility, so you could just eliminate that part ?

      I do not have the money for this strategy! Maybe half your money is hedged. The field martingales, so that is relatively hedged.
      That leaves odds on the come bets and pass line at risk.
      At end.

    The problem with that strategy, in my mind, is that the Doey Don't and then adding Odds, will typically give you an average bet of $1 for your player rating.
    If I have $200 to $500 on the table, I want my average bet to be in that range.

    • @ColorUp

      a single pass line bet which would be $25 subject to 1.4% and they rate at $25 bet so they should be rating you at $50 per bet as its $50 subject to house edge of about 1.38%

      @@jimklemens5018 I get it, and fact craps rating is subjective is crazy and a problem with the game. The casino actually makes double the $ on the bet.

    one more thing i forgot to mention! comps! if they comp you at your average bets it will be awesome, not sure if the will discount your do-ey don'ts, if they dont expect to get lots of comps. as tokyoscarab said, you need to tip or bet for the dealers

  • @vvgman
    @vvgman 2 года назад

    this is exciting! I thought you explained that the field bet is no good, at this rate you would lose $72.5 minimum plus when you lose you double the bet so it can be difficult to figure actual losses because it is based on the individual rolls. so it seems like this is the gamble here. do-ey don'ts push except for 12, so you are getting a "free" odds bet at the correct payout. so shouldn't you increase your odds bet and drop the leaky faucet field where martingale can break you?

    • @ColorUp

      example #4. You are twice as likely to lose bet so you win 2 to 1 for the odds bet. If you bet the don't odds, you are twice as likely to win the bet, so you have to bet twice as much and win back half or 1 to 2. Doesn't make a difference how you play, it pays true fair odds of chance to win vs lose. The correct bet is the one that will win
