    As an avid Royal Caribbean cruiser and craps player I saw these videos and realized all that I was missing and playing wrong. First I switched my entire playing strategy for LiD and found that wasn't working for the same reasons. When I watched the video "10 is my friend" I adapted this method. When I play this on my simulator( Craps Master 3d) I lay $100 on 10, $100 on the DP and then place $25, $24, $24 on 5,6,8 for $75 at risk. My main focus is to break even. If I was to play this at a real table I try to manage my chips with the top rack for money to bet with and all the winnings go into the bottom rack. I try not to mix them, that way when the top rack is gone, I walk away. First hit I press the 6,8 to $30 and add $25 to 9. After that I now will press the next two hits to the 10. The last thing, I try to break even, but when my winnings look good and I feel things are right, I press with $110 from my winnings, never the top rack. Thanks for the videos, your channel is one of my favorites.

    Good strategy for comps! I was screaming at my phone when that 4 hit, to regress back down to $160 across. And then 7 came. Once you effectively hedged the 4 (which I would do for $70, wins $140 plus the $70 = $210). Take a 1 hit, to make up for the difference on the no hedged place bets (win $100 on the lay 4, but lose $110 on the inside). 1 hit wins $35. So now regardless of what happens you will be up. I would then begin mid-pressing like you did to get to the $50 payment level. But once that 4 gets knocked off, take your press bet money off the table and go $110 inside or $160 across depending on where you’re at. You want to rack as much as you can because this is a longevity strategy. Not a let me make $500 a hand.

      Jeremy, can you run a video where you take all presses down if the 4 gets hit? I think that's smart, and would be great to see the strategy rolled out with maybe 1-2 tweaks in it. Maybe the other tweak is to put thay $70 on 4 instead of $60 as well. Regardless..great stuff! I'm loving these cruise comp strategies. Can't wait to cruise!

    We play on many cruises. They will give points for a don’t pass but most floors don’t give you anything on a cruise for the Lay Bet.
    Also every single floor person rates differently so make sure and ask. Some I even ask ahead of time.
    Nice video 👊

      Yeah, in my one trip experience I found quickly each boxman rates diff. I wish it wasn’t so subjective.
      It is interesting that they would not give anything for lay bet but do for DP?
      I will see and have to adapt accordingly.
      Thanks for heads up.

    Have you thought about staying on the don't pass. BUT...bet $25 at first to get a point established. Then put up to $100 on odds for the don't pass after the point is established. That way you are only risking $25 on the come out. Then...$100 inside. Don't cap the 6and8...it's not worth it. Press on the hits across all inside. After 3 remove your don't pass odds but keep your $25. Take down all inside bets BUT for the 4 and 10 at $10 each and then let it ride. Or just remove all bets but your original $25 on the don't pass. If it's a cold table leave it. If it's a hot table then move your $25 from don't pass to pass. Either way after your 4 initial hits take most down and then let it ride. Hope this makes sense. It's golden.

    • @iptvclub1575
      @iptvclub1575 7 месяцев назад

      I’m not a cruise ship they don’t let you have improper bets. Yes on land based casinos $25 pays $29 on the 6/8, but on cruises you don’t have that option.

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  7 месяцев назад

      This strategy is to earn comps. 25 then odds would play better, but odds bet isn’t rated so you’d lose 75 points per hr there, same with regression. Although smart play and one I like to do, when trying to earn comps it would remove your points.

    This looks really promising especially for time at table! I sim tested it this evening, and even on a cold as heck table (20 shooters, avg of 5.15 rolls per shooter), I came out $15 ahead. That was also with one case of establishing a point, followed immediately by an easy 4 (ouch). Might not make a ton, but it doesn't seem like you LOSE a lot either.

    Just played this strategy on Liberty of the Seas. After my first night playing, I got up to 1300 points, and I think I was only playing for 3 hours (plus some low-bet BJ previously). I'm down about $400 but I have the free cruise, and will play again the next couple nights. Didn't have any good runs, so I think this is still a pretty good result considering.

    • @tjkrz
      @tjkrz 6 месяцев назад

      I should add that I did this same strategy on day 2, and only got about 400 points over a couple hours. I ended up down another $100. It was a different PB so it might just be luck of the draw. I'll also admit that I didn't do a great job of recording my time, so those estimates might be off -- I'm not used to playing for comps! Since I already had the free cruise, I just played "All Day" for a couple hours along with $10 BJ on the final day. I ended up right at 2000 total points. Overall a great success -- booked a 4 day cruise for next February. I should easily get to Prime next cruise, which is in June, and I'll get another free one!

    I could see playing this as an Iron cross, $200 lay 4, $10 H10, $85 5/6/8 and $25 field. The field would also hedge part of the lay bet. I would press the 5/6/8 to $35/42/42 and after collecting $100 either lower the lay to $100 or take it down

      Just got off Harmony of the Seas; they rate you on base bet and don't count odds. They initially rated me at $30 hr after a hour of play; I was like WTF. Then they upped it to $75 rating per hour then again to $120. Every time they change your bet rating the clock re-starts. I found standing on the end next to one of the dealers was the best spot to play from. Dealers were great; I'd tell them my strategy, they would know ahead of time my bets; I'd have chips in hand ready to go. By the end of my first night I knew to ensure my bet rating was accurate, I'd ask every dealer shift change to confirm my position and bet rating. On Harmony dealers and pit boss had an ipad type device on a swivel arm which usually was positioned where the pit boss would sit to enter bets for comps "across from stick man". The dealer next to me could spin the ipad around; look at your position on the table; tell you your name and bet average within a few seconds. The dealer could then update your bet average with a few clicks if the pit boss wasn't at the table. IMO start off with big bets get that initial high bet rating and confirm it with the pit boss or dealer. The dealers and pit boss know everyone is playing for free cruise comps and are rooting for you to win, they will work with you to ensure you are executing your betting strategy and having fun. It makes it much easier for the dealers if English isn't their first language to pay out and be accurate if you tell them in advance what your strategy is. Ensure to tip well, first night; I colored up over +45% on $1k bank roll and dropped dealers a black chip for couple hours play time. I did several two-way bets and was tipping while playing. Original strategy was LiD after several PSO/YO 11's out on come out switched to 3-point Dolly/Molly, got back to starting bankroll and switched to $110 inside reduction strategy. Didn't get as much play time as I'd like as we were cruising with kids, have two more cruises scheduled this year and will hit the free cruise easily.

    I have two questions related to the comp points.
    (1) Have you gone a second cruise to test out increasing the lay bet to $200? Did that increase your points production? Or perhaps they see you have both a lay and a buy bet on the 4 simultaneously so won't count those bets towards points since they offset each other?
    (2) After you hit the 4 and lost the lay bet, but you didn't replace the bet until after you hit a 7 a few rolls later. That reduced your total bets by about half for a period of time. Wouldn't that also reduce your comp points production?

      I just watched the video again. I see you placed a bet to cover the $80 lay. So how much would I need to place on the 4 to cover the lay. Also, if the table is hot would I just be placing or buy bet to cover the 10.

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  7 месяцев назад +2

      Lay bet should be about double whatever you bet inside. so 80 covers 44 inside.
      As far as protecting the the 80 with a buy bet. Make it whatever you feel comfortable with. Bet 20 to pay 40, covers half. Bet 25 to pay 50, and if the 25 came from casino and not your pocket, you could pull it down after it pays and essentially have 75 back which nicely hedges that loss of 80. Yes if roll is long and making money, cover that 10 as well

    • @fruitshuit
      @fruitshuit 7 месяцев назад

      From what I understand if you're going for comps like this strategy is, the way Craps tends to get rated is that your average bet goes into the computer and your rating tends to just be that average bet combined with your time played (or sometimes number of rolls if the casino tracks that way). The system tends not to be granular enough to track the exact amount bet on each individual roll (which is why pressing bets doesn't always help comp strategies since it requires someone to manually update your bet on the computer). If it were possible to do so, the best strategy for comps would be to put down a big initial bet to get rated, then just turn your bets off and hang out at the table accumulating points but risking nothing! But of course the boxman will step in there and you won't get rated if you try that. If you're a place better, your bets are off automatically on come out rolls, but you're just playing normally so you'll be rated normally.
      So essentially, if you're a place better you'll probably be rated the same whether you have your bets on or off on the come-out rolls, so you should probably keep them off (if you're playing for comps).

    I don't understand the purpose of the hardways 4. With a 7, you lose 44 + 25 and win 40 on the lay. That's a loss of 29. With no hardways, you lose only 4. What am I missing?

    • @ColorUp

      Hardway is $5.
      Roll 7 you lose 44+5 and win 40- loss of 9
      roll easy 4 you lose $40
      roll hard 4 you lose $40 but win $35 - only loss of 5
      this strategy moves big risk from 7 to the 4. The hardway protects against one of the three rolls to roll a 4. So that only two dice combos hurt you bad. 3-1 and 1-3

I was on a recent cruise where several people were there to try to “earn a free cruise.” It created a whole lot of drama with 30ish people trying to get on a single craps table that will only support 14 people at a time. I saw people trying several strategies that seemed to have a single goal of getting as much money as possible on the table with the least amount of risk. I saw people losing thousands all while having a near zero risk of having positive influence on their bankroll. Why not put the whole $35 on the 4 each time?

    And as usual it all depends on what the table is doing.

    Why not hop 4 easy and hard hop
    15 to 1 and 30 to 1 payout

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  7 месяцев назад

      You could, so maybe $10 easy 4 and $5 hard. Is $15 dollars worth it? Over time no, but until it’s hedged with a buy bet. Maybe.

    If you hit an easy 4 like you did many times…why not go back to a $200 lay bet???…instead of having $110 inside and exposed to the 7. Again. If you hit the easy 4, then go right back up on the lay for $205 and the $10 hard 4!

      You can. If it hit many times, it would be knocked of many times? No right answer, it’s just a guess…er gamble 😄

    Don’t forget when you’re deep in a roll you can always turn off your place bets

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  7 месяцев назад

      True but turning off point earned which is what this strategy is about. You could probably get away with it for a few rolls though.

    Why would you get your Vig back at 8:30?

    • @ColorUp
      @ColorUp  7 месяцев назад +1

      I wouldn’t, my mistake. You get vig returned when bet is returned, but not on a win
