Unless if I know that I need to sharpen it but those bleeder blades who's going to sharpen them, they're a mechanical blade that should be razor sharp. They look like a razor blade. I'm kind of new to all this, still learning. But yea man, i get if they aren't super sharp, but I should never be able to slide my finger down any broadhead blade like that. Absolutely nuts. And yea, who's going to sharpen a razor blade? It's unfortunate, but it's one of those things. If you release something like this, people are going to know lol. So either way, someone at Ozcut failed to check their product before it went to the public, so it always falls back to them.
Those heads are very close to muzzy trocar ti broadheads the only difference is the muzzy fixed blade is in the rear the other rear deploy toward front I have a brand new pack I opened them because they look bad ass like killer but they were somewhat dull also crazy I never used them they are still in my closet
Yea no worries, I have a box of metal now. I tried to make them work after the video too. Every bleeder blade that came in the pack did that. Kind of nuts when you think about it.
Honestly, I don't think this is a bad thing. (Other than being sharp out of the box) One, you are shooting into gel. That is much different than shooting through an animal, much higher friction. The stuff is made to stop bullets. Second, I'd rather have the bleeders break off and allow the arrow to pass through. No pass through, terrible blood trail. I would agree with your test results, but I would argue that it is a feature, not a bug. just my two sense. Great video!

Kudos for being honest and open about them. I can tell you're still not thrilled to be putting this info out there, and that's commendable. New subscriber and I'm glad I did. Keep at it.

I just planned on not using any more of their products. Now it makes sense why they went south. Thanks for sharing because I was so confused.
I bought the hurricanes. Dull as a butter knife. The hurricanes are the only head I can't sharpen. Ozcut was 0 help except saying they would sell me their sharpener. And I don't think it will sharpen it. Also I'm a knife maker and can put a razor edge on knives and any other broddhead I've ever needed to sharpen.
@yournotthatguypal9749 I can sharpen them now, but only after I modified a $500 wicked edge sharpener. But I shouldn't have to do that. I ruined 1 head trying to get it sharp. If they know how, why send them out dull
@SouthernDrawTN all they offered was a discount code on the sharpener. All I wanted was video showing how to sharpen them. Only thi g they said was they would speak to the higher ups and see if they would do one. What's worse is they sensor their reviews. I left a 1 star on the website and it never got published. So basically they have to approve reviews and they only post the 4 and 5 star reviews.
I definitely appreciate you putting this out! I was psyched to try these out. So disappointing! Thanks to you, I did not have to potentially come to the same conclusion. I hope they figure it out and make it right. Did you bring the sharpness of both heads to their attention as well?
Yea no problem, like I said, I hate doing that but if I didn't release it now, that's dishonest on my part. Naw I didn't tell them about the sharpness or the fact one of the extra collars in my second pack was missing a blade completely but I'll just share this video with them. Hoping this was just a bad batch. I guess we'll find out when they respond. If I'm being honest, I think they must of rushed this broadhead or something. I don't know that i'm just guessing, but hopefully this video gets out to everyone because I know Ozcut is a popular broadhead. Trying to possibly save people the headache, time and money if they aren't willing to test like this. Take care.

I bought some from Walmart. I had the bleeders snap off on a deer where they snapped is the back of the hole where the pin goes through

I shot there regular 3 blade last year and I thought the same thing with the sharpness
The hurricane? If so, I tested those earlier this year and felt the same way.

I second this I couldn’t have physically cut myself or stabbed myself with the hurricanes and piss poor customer service
