Bass musicians seem to be that way across the board. Coming from playing Trombone and Euphonium in bands to singing bass in choirs, it's always a chill section. Love it.
I sang bass in a Barbershop Quartet. Was always fun!

Disney should hire you to be a part of every movie they ever produce.
I think every single one of these singers is actually currently employed by Disney (singing/coaching the Voices of Liberty and/or the Dapper Dans)
Yep, they are! But I want to hear them in movies! I swear, I'd jump out of my seat in the cinema if I hear Kate Lott's soprano :D
Tony does more than just this and auditions. He also directs a men's barbershop chorus in Tampa Fl and a women's barbershop chorus plus he has a quartet he sings lead in called Main Street.

We've hit the point where I smash the like button before the video even begins, because I'm never disappointed.
I'm a tenor. A wannabe Voctave quality singer....tough level to reach. BUT....the bass team....you really nailed this. Tough to jump around and be dead on pitch with each other. I am always truly amazed. The biggest question I have - who in the world would give this a thumbs down? Seriously.....what could you possibly not like about it??
Lyle Orr isn't that the truth! It's so Bizzarre that there are always few people that push the thumbs down on just about everything posted to RUclips. I'd love for it to be a requirement to input an explanation to push the thumbs down. I really want to know (at least for things like this). I mean I get it if it's a posting of a news item or something, but these are professional musicians in a virtually impeccable performance! What are those (currently 5) naysayers thinking here?

but if you ask your question to me, I kinda think there is too much echo in the song which makes the quality just a little bit lest

E.J. Cardona I'm Obsessed, all of your voices have literally consumed me. I have everything remotely related to you guys on Google Play Music. All of Jamie's and Derric's arrangements all in one big playlist. honestly all I listen too EVER, and I happily force you guys on my friends against their will. For 6 months straight. "One of them was even quoted staying "I hope I NEVER hear that song again ....."dodododododododo" lol #YankeDoodle. And another told me she catches herself casually humming Voctave all the time thanks too me.

PTX just appeal to the masses since they're young and dynamic and generally cover modern songs but there's absolutely no disputing that Voctave are vocally better, in fact they're flawless.

Ikr? Another thing I love about Voctave is they have a wide range of people, so you can hear any notes as low as first octave to as high as the sixth octave. Also, Voctave has a lot more people and that means more harmonies.❤

It's probably the highlight of this song, super good. I also love the transition there to "Be Our Guest" so much. It fits perfectly and is so satisfying
I absolutely love how happy the ladies look as they simultaneously switch their gaze to the gentlemen as he reaches impressive high notes after 2:11. This group is a blast to look at and listen to :) Your music is amazing!
Do I get emotional? Are they amazing? Is that high soprano flawless? Are these basses SICK? Do I need AUTO REPLAY??? Oh my, YES! This group is nothing if not perfect. I both love and envy their camaraderie and work. I've had a taste of this sort of thing in my life, enough of it to know that they have been blessed to find one another and to work with one another, and I am ever so thankful that they share it with us. Wonderful Solos by Jamey and EJ. The bassists gave me chills with those notes, seems effortless. The altos were strong, smooth and steady. And the sopranos, lawd!, were superb. The excitement and enjoyment vibes Tiffany gives to these videos are priceless!!!
I cannot stop rewinding and listening to the entrance chord at 2:31 when the tenor says "I just" and the rest of the group comes in on the vowel Ah. It sounds like a train whistle or an organ chord. It's just a wall of sound and it gets me every time. Amazing arrangement and just one of the best vocal groups on the planet. Congratulations.
The best part is watching everyone interact with each other (especially during E.J.'s solo!)!!

Listening to this for the 31415th time and I just wanna highlight a few perfect moments from Jamey Ray, who has got some serious vocal chops himself:
1:14 - Lovely little run upwards + catch in his voice at (and as a bonus, his body language matches!).
1:19 - Nice little growl.
1:32 - Playful and totally spot-on change in intonation on the 'hotter' and 'water'.
Ah, Voctave. Something new to appreciate every single time. Never out of nuances!

I could watch and listen to Kate and Tiffany sing all day long. I love how each member of this group is so supportive of each other. They live the truth that the success of each individual contributes to the total success of the group. Listening to Voctave should count as college credit to a music appreciation course.
I absolutely love Jamey's little riff at 1:15 in "Under the Sea" and don't even get me started on EJ's riffs in "I Just Can't Wait to Be King" This medley is AMAZING!🤩
