  • How to remove and repair electrical ignition/starter switch on a 2003 Honda Crv. This can also be used on a multiple Honda models. Quick and easy, always make sure that you have properly diagnosed the problem and that you are sure this is the problem. Some symptoms off this failure are when you go to crank there is no crank at the starter, all lights on the dash are on but the engine will not crank when hot there sometimes a buzzing noise coming from the switch, also sometime early sign of failure is when you go to start the engine when you turn the key there is a delay and you hear a buzzing noise (bad contact). Hope this video will help. you can always replace the switch if it is available and you are able to.

hello, i was just wondering is it a crank and no start or a all the light on the dash come on but no response of the starter " no crank"? if it cranks and no start you should check if you have spark and fuel. If its a no crank i would first try knocking the starter (common problem I've seen before) and see if it might be the starter that has gone bad. Also i would check if the green immobilizer light on the dash is blinking while your trying to start if so you might have a immobilizer problem. Hope this helped
