It's good to see that even high-drive, high-quality dogs tend to struggle sometimes. What you see on social media is always the perfect execution and never the actual process.
I'm quite sure there are a lot of great trainers in within the United States but I must say you are definitely amongst the top trainers around, Not taking anything away from Anyone else 😇👍🏾
It’s an e-collar. He made a joke and called it vibration instead because e-collars are banned in Europe. There’s no way your dog doesn’t give two craps about an e-collar.
@@Spartacus4281 I'm aware of that, I asked a question. He is trained on the e collar, but you know how it has a vibrate feature? And to be fair e collar technologies make just a vibrate collar.
@@Erin_29 That is the same as mine, the vibrate must just be very weak. I just upgraded to the tom davis collar and the vibrate feature on that is really strong so we will see if it has any effect. He is trained on the stim but his fur is so thick it takes a while to get contact so it would be nice if I could use the vibe to get him back sometimes.
I thank you for your video. I just got this product for my turf. Im small 5’4 140 and it was extremely hard to operate the machine. May I ask how or where you got the wheels and size of the wood used. Maybe a video on what you used to add the wheels? Looks so much easier!
is he zapping the dog as he issues a command and only stopping when the command is completed correctly OR is he waiting for an incorrect action before zapping. looks like he is saying sit or platz and simultaneously zapping until the dog completes the move correctly.
He’s testing the dog. Proofing him. Repeating the command he’s already in to see if he changes position. If he does, he’s just guessing…and needs more training

Sure does make me feel better about training my dog.

Oh my goodness. Love the hover butt comment. That is my girl....anticipating and thinking way too much. She does the hiver butt. Drives me nuts.

Very useful vid on how to straighten out some of the kinks.
Great bark on Mr. Handsome Chiko 🤩
L oved the "Like, subscribe, comment below!" bit😆
Geeze. My GSD dog is so similar to this. Crazy smart. And a tad stubborn. 😂
"hover butt"😂 i know, but can you describe it any other way!
Good Lord, what an incredibly awesome dog. He is amazing in his appearance. Great work man, as usual.
Im always anxiously waiting for the next shield k9 video to come out !!

Any one elses dog not give two craps about a vibration collar as a correction?

@TeenyTheOne my female GSD doesn't give a crap about the vibration on her e collar. I have the Dogtra Arc.

Would love some injury prevention/rehab advice and videos
Genuine question... Do vibration collars work? I'm in the UK, and ecollars are being banned.

Looking forward to when Chico is worthy of competing in IGP trials. I’m wondering if he’ll surpass Gage’s results. I assume that’s a big ‘yes’.
Oh no he was injured? What happened.
are you adding pressure when you ask for the command?
Which e training collar do you recommend? As im going to need to incorporate one into my training besides prong collar for my E LH gsd.
Dogtra or Mini-Educator
👍
Why were you stimming the dog when you were asking nothing of him and talking to the camera??
All these puzzles puzzling me 😉
@@shieldk9 im not against e collar use, im genuinely asking you a question, no need to be a dick about it.
Hoi ben jij eeen Nederlandse? wijze videos heb je
👏
Where did you get that position box?
I have the same question... did you end up finding it?
@@almostquasi unfortunately I have not.
Damn... thanks for the reply. Guess I better start designing lol
Did you plan on keeping Chico to use in your breeding program?
Seems like he may not really know what platz is because you keep saying platz when he’s down, you shouldn’t say it again

Any reason why the lead is around his back legs?
To make him stand
