"Do I have to play Alan Wake 2 after this?" YES Edit: I am all for that somehow making it into Eurovision. Not sure how it works with established popular acts though (Poets of the Fall AKA The Old Gods of Asgard are already pretty popular).
Poets of the Fall AKA The Old Gods of Asgard would be amazing in eurovision but they would need to make a new song ( cant enter with an existing/old one) but im sure that would be no prob XD
I don't know if they would, honestly I'd like it but I think they like how much they're known right now, I listen to them since a really long time and I never really saw them make a big publicity or anything like that, it's pretty much Poets and their fans if you know what I'm saying And if they ever do Eurovision or anything like that, they prob wouldn't perform as Old Gods of Asgard as they're kinda RP with Old Gods being an alter ego lol But honestly they fully deserve to be as known as the biggest groups rn as their work is absolutely mind blowing and perfection
I was hoping to find some people who hadn't played Alan Wake reacting to this, because it needs to reach more people. So good. Your reaction was everything I hoped it would be as well.
No we Finnish are not Scandinavian. Nordic is proper term. And band playing is called Poets Of The Fall and sadly they have never attended Eurovision... They should, but seems that it wasn't in their interest. Would been a damn good chance to redo Finland win after Lordi (Hard Rock Hallelujah).
@@sasiuru It's not that Scandinavia is somehow beloved, it's about geographical and cultural accuracy. Saying Finland is Scandinavian is kinda like saying California is Cascadian (part of the Pacific North West). Source: a Finn
I’m sure you know by now, but in case you don’t, if you’re confused as to why there are two men singing for Alan Wake, that’s because there are actually two actors who play Alan Wake, the face actor who provides the face and live action segments, Finnish actor Ilkka Villi, who you see dancing in the middle of the stage, and voice actor, Matthew Porretta, who’s the man singing next to David Harewood.
That performance was phenomenal and on point with the same performance in Alan Wake 2. The game is a fantastic ride. We definitely need more Alan Wake and Control after this. 😁
Yes you need to play both of them!!!! Theres an amazing rock musical section un the 1st game too but NOTHING compares to the scene this song and dance is from.
Ah yes. You have to play both games. The second one. the story and how they included this musical part is one of the best things I' ve ever seen in gaming! WOW!
Only those who played the game would be so amazed and probably not be cringed by this It could be one of my top highlighted segments of a game in history.
What you said at the end of the video about not being mad if AW2 beat out BG3 for GOTY because of this was my exact same sentiment when I saw this in game. I would not have been mad even for a second if Alan Wake had won over BG3.
Yes you do need to play this game. This isn’t even the full song either. If they went any further it would have game spoilers if you listened to the lyrics closely. Also, Deep Sea Summoning from the game is awesome as well. No Spoilers.
FYI, Finland is not part of Scandinavia. The former Viking countries are - Sweden, Norway, Denmark (some also include Iceland, but not in general). Finland is part of the so-called Nordic countries though. And the Old Gods are much too good to waste them on something like Eurovision. No way.
Amazing very well done the game and the performance, the game was amazing as well I think it should of been giving game of the year it such small time it was out it make a big impact 💪🏽💪🏽
I bought it after seeing this, after a month of debating. Worth it even if the game hard-locked after 10 minutes on the PS5. Maybe get it on series x if you have the option?
Y'all answered with a resounding YES, so here's Part 1 of my Playthrough of Alan Wake II ruclips.net/video/4SBpU3T7j14/видео.html
We all need someone in our lives that looks as proud as Sam
Sam Lake is just so d*mn happy that his new game is FINALLY popular and getting noticed❤️ Such a great guy👍🏻
@@krisisgod666I think this is their most popular game since Max Payne.
He is so happy!
@@SuperNeos2 ayoo control was pretty good. But it only had a budget of 40 mil or smth
As a gamer that gets to experience what they've created, it makes me so damn happy that Sam Lake is having the time of his life
While this was awesome, the in-game scene was beyond amazing. But i wont say any more to avoid spoilers.
Agreed👀👍🏻
Yeah it's a lot better sounding, but that's to be expected.
"Do I have to play Alan Wake 2 after this?" YES

They got Loreen back 🤷♂️

Honestly I think I'd like it even more if Poe announced a new album and played This Road on Eurovision somehow.
Established artists and bands can take part in Eurovision, but teh song needs to be brand new, so this one would be ineligible.

How do we get THAT into Eurovision indeed 🎉
I supported Finland last year, so I'd just keep the train going through this year too lol
I was hoping to find some people who hadn't played Alan Wake reacting to this, because it needs to reach more people. So good. Your reaction was everything I hoped it would be as well.
His “what is going on” is exactly how we all felt playing through these scenes in the game 😂
Thank you for the correction! Good to know to be correct going forward!
@@PatOSmith89Swedes & Norwegians tend to have bad day when they hear that someone is saying that Finland is part of their beloved Scandinavia... ;)

0:55 yes, yes you do lol. And don't worry, the game has tonnes more of crazy and wild stuff lol
It is on the list now for very very soon to play lol
This year TGA was great, and by far this was my favourite part
Yes you need to play both of them!!!! Theres an amazing rock musical section un the 1st game too but NOTHING compares to the scene this song and dance is from.
Yes you do. There is a entire level of this.
Ah yes. You have to play both games. The second one. the story and how they included this musical part is one of the best things I' ve ever seen in gaming! WOW!
Its even better in the game, you gotta play it
Only those who played the game would be so amazed and probably not be cringed by this

Another good song that comes out from Alan Wake 2 is called "Dark Ocean Summoning" id recommend watching it too
Best musical performance this years game award

Old gods of asgard (in game) = Poets of the fall (real life)
this was absolutely insane, level of awesomeness comparable to Mick Gordon playing BFG Division 7 years ago
This performance definitely sold thousands more copies of Alan Wake 2 lmao (it sure sold me on it)
That was so sick! :D
Oh GOD, I wish this was in Eurovision, would've won in a heartbeat
HEY, Deadly Premonition is the twin peaks of video games

YES, you must play it ❤
Alan wake 2 is basically the metal gear solid of horror games
Yes. Yes you do have to play Alan Wake 2 now. And even Alan Wake 1 and American Nightmare. It is law.

You should had played it already bro, if you weren't kidding! 🙂
For context you fight through a rock opera and its fucking awesome 😂😂
How do we get this to Eurovision.’
Easy, just get Remedy to put song to Eurovision with their creative team featuring Poets of the Fall.
Yes!
You should. It’s amazing
Best definition: Twin Peaks, the videogame (but scarier). hahaha
Amazing very well done the game and the performance, the game was amazing as well I think it should of been giving game of the year it such small time it was out it make a big impact 💪🏽💪🏽
This is just a sliver of the song, the full version is over thirteen minutes long
Listen to dark ocean summoning from Alan wake 2
Yea play it.
I bought it after seeing this, after a month of debating. Worth it even if the game hard-locked after 10 minutes on the PS5. Maybe get it on series x if you have the option?
Unfortunately, no chance for Eurovision. Eurovision songs need to be made for Eurovision. It's the rules.
Speaking of Crit Role, is that Marisha at 4:11?
Oh my old Gods of Asgard, she totally is!
Is that Bryan Danielson is not something I expected to see
Go check poets of the fall music
Why are they doing the Oompa Loompa dance tho
It's on par with all the rest of the weirdness in the game.
Nordic!! Finland is not Scandi. 😊
nope, not scandinavian
