Hi Samuel, Thanks for your comment. The fire below the TV is an electric fire with an output of 1-2kW which is generated by a fan heater and blown approximately 45 degrees down and out from the fire. The heat generated by this fire combined with it being blown away from the fire is nowhere near significant enough to affect the television. We have installed many setups like the ones you see and never encountered an issue with this. In short, thank you. A very reasonable question but it is not a concern with this setup.
