Fun thing is that's a voice line from the game it's self. There's some funny lines that your characters make when wounded, even more so if you don't heal it right away. "My liberty forsaken arm"

@@alexanderhoclippiunus7644 They are part of the Canini species, yes. There's a *lot* of fox 🦊 species that vary in that tree a lot compared to dogs. Most "true" foxes are Vulpini but still part of the Canine tree
If you look it up, most of the Canini species are just foxes or fox-like. Dogs are in the Canina part of the tree with wolves. The rest of the Caninae animals are mostly foxes

Oh god, the way Hunters just know when you are aiming at them and dodge bullets like they're Neo and see the Matrix.
It might literally be the laser on the front of your gun that we can’t shut off. I know sometimes it helps if I shut off the flashlight, but I think the laser is still helping them.
Honestly I barely have issues with the hunters 😂. The only thing that needs changed is there tongue attack don't need to slow you down. Smh

Just need to shift the red colors to blue. Reinforcements are a blue beacon after all, even if new dovers tend to act like an orbital barrage and aim to crush their fellow helldivers alongside the bugs and automatons in equal measure

Yup had a random noob join, threw the airstrike beacon on top of a single scavanger right next to him. Instead of shooting it he started to run away but the scavanger followed until it was too late to get away. One of the best moments I had in this game

Not going to lie, I've constantly underestimated the little F'ers. I constantly focus on the big dudes until it's too late, and then I have to switch to close range fly swatting. They are incredibly dangerous and underestimated. I daresay more dangerous than even the Stalker because they can SWARM you.

@@adrenjones9301 I've had hulks and devastators appear out of no where to knock my block off (its happened several times despite having my radar open with scan range boosters so I could evade patrols)

F stalkers. I could be across the map from them when a swaudmate gets near a lair and they will gun for me instead of the person about to wreck their Nest. Next thing you hear from comes is me getting thrown about by a six stalkers minimum as I try to survive

@@ShuRugal Controlled bursts won't save you when you're kiting with 20 hunters on your ass, haha. The moment you have to reload, or run out of stamina, you're cooked.
Hunters are what kill people the most. It's just objectively true; they're designed to pick divers off after they've been scattered by the bulk of the swarm.

I really appreciate how literally every comment is just about the return of Crackhead.
There are two main threats when fighting bugs: Chargers and Hunters. Hunters are just as dangerous as chargers, but for different reasons.
Chargers easily break entrenchments, scattering the group to make it harder for the team to effectively do battle. This is the 'beginning of the end' in most wipes, and it's safe to say that once a group of chargers enter the field, whatever you thought you were doing is no longer the case.
But Chargers are ultimately a red herring. They are a catastrophe for your strategy, soak up everyone's ordinance, and will waste your time. But they aren't a proper threat to individual divers that have game sense and know how to move well. Hunters, on the other hand, are the things that actually kill you after Chargers have ruined everything else. In an 'ideal' scenario, no amount of Hunters can get close to a bunkered group of divers. But once you're all scattered to the wind, no amount of movement and game sense will save you; they can EASILY pick you off.
Protip: when a fight breaks out, kill the HUNTERS first. You might think you can weather the swarm, but 9 times out of 10 you're getting pushed out by charger/titan spam, which means you will end up kiting. Hunters are peak during this phase of a battle. They're the only bugs that can consistently outmaneuver a sprinting diver in the largest variety of terrain. Everything else can be outrun (most bugs), outmaneuvered (Commanders, Chargers, and Titans), or easily lost around obstacles (Chargers and Titans). Hunters can navigate ALL of this and - true to the name - hunt you down.
Chargers will fuck over your intentions and send everyone running. But Hunters are what's going to take you out in the end. If there aren't any Hunters, theoretically you should never die because you can just kite the swarm forever.
All true. Chargers and Titans throw a wrench in the usual bug strategy of horde control, requiring a dedicated anti-armor option to deal with them without having to scatter.
The humble EAT can deal with them head on. And the CD is super low, so any place you fight them, it'll probably be ready to use.

It's missing a time when a stratagem beacon lands on a hunter, and it jumps at helldivers with it stuck to it's body. Or when they jump high enough that even jetpack isn't a viable escape.
Or when you throw a grenade and the hunter jumps at it causing it to bounce back at you

Hunters are the most fun to shoot, especially when they are jumping at you. I have less issues with hunters than most other bugs, unless I jump and don't realize that I'll be surrounded after said jump...
