2:08 saw that happen just recently while two chargers chased a friend of mine. Dont know how it ended here, but in our case two colliding chargers killed each other and was one of the funniest things I experienced so far.

If a hunter hits you you're dead due to the slow effect Not saying mortar is bad but you can't throw it willy nilly like most things in this game it's a team effort and if you're the danger to the team you're usually the first to go

I think the worst game I've ever fumbled, resulting in me being booted from was the result of a series of unfortunate events causing me to butterfinger eagle clusterbombs against the bugs. A mouse would fart off in the distance causing my screen to shake and drop the cluster beacon and kill a teammate. I got booted after I shit you not 4 times: and I dont blame them. Everytime time I pulled out the mortar cluster I would get smited by RNGesus and swarmed by bugs or chargers at the wrong time causing me to drop it. After that, never happened again: landed every cluster properly. If you ever played with a character named lord daniel that kept clusterbombing the team: I'm sorry, I didn't mean it. RNG was just fucking me.

As a co-op lover, I enjoy playing this game casually (and not going above diff 5 or so, where the tryhards live). It means I will make mistakes that get people killed, and my teammates will make mistakes that get people (and me) killed. And it doesn't faze me one bit. If anything, it can be hilarious. Like when I was attempting to end an illegal transmission with the terminal and my teammate decided to show me how it's faster to bomb it instead... while I'm still next to it. Instead of getting mad, ragequitting, asking for host to kick them, etc... I just said "can't argue with the results" and kept truckin'. Pretty much the only time I get annoyed is if someone is intentionally trying to ruin the team's experience with trolling over and over, though even then my solution would just be to leave and join a different game. That's where I feel this game thrives, really - no sweating or tryharding, just having fun regardless of whether you extract with all the goods or get yourselves blown to smithereens. And also just shooting the guns in this game is so awesome. I won't forget the first feeling of awesome power I felt when I wielded the Autocannon for the first time, or fired my first Expendable Anti-Tank directly into a charger's face. Helldivers 2 has joined my pantheon of "shoot gremlins and kick ass with the team" games alongside Left 4 Dead 2 and Deep Rock Galactic.
One time, I used 380 mm on Cyborg base, and nothing happened. Then I saw a message on screen that I took down an alien hive across the galaxy. Another time, I used 380 mm orbitals, and nothing happened. 5 minutes later, my friend called and said my 380mm orbital killed him in Helldivers 1 game.
As an auto cannon main it's always good to know just because you're on target does not always mean you're gonna clear the shot but hey it's fun to fling yourself
my new routine is wake up, go to work, come home, watch about 15-30 mins of helldivers videos to get hyped up to spread managed democracy, play helldivers, go to bed, repeat
