Hi! There’s an error in the video I wanted to point out. At 3:08 I say to slip stitch into the first 4 stitches of row 6. It should be one single crochet into each of the first 4 stitches. I’m so sorry for the confusion! I hope this clears things up :)
i just learned how to crochet and finished my first work, seems pretty good for a first time so i feel confident... now i'm going to try your tutorial hope i'll make a good work with this one, thanks for the video :)
I have just stared to make this super easy to understand! Unlike some other tutorials that are like oh you have to dc into 2 chain then go in the middle of the dc and then go into the hole next to the middle. This is so easy to understand I was looking forever to find a tutorial that was like this one:)
Woooooooooow! I love my bucket hat! But just saying I think you made an error on the row that you have to single crochet four you said slip stitch four but when I saw you doing the single crochet I did it I just wanted to point that out other than that you did a great job explaining this!
hi i already started my work but i have a question, sorry if i'm bothering you btw, but: at the end of road two you say i'll have 24 stitches. considering that i have to put TWO single crochets in each stitch, do i count every two single crochets as ONE or TWO stitches? (hopefully you'll understand my question 😅)
Oh my gosh I’m so sorry! At the end of row 2, you should have 16 stitches. Each stitch is its own stitch. In other words, when you put 2 stitches in each stitch, count them as 2 stitches. Hope this helps! 🥰
Hi! For row three, you wanna put one single crochet into the first stitch then two single crochets into the second stitch. You want to repeat that all the way around until you finish that row. I hope this helps! p.s. ur hat is going to turn out amazing 😉😽
hi. im probably missing stiches but my hat keeps rolling uppp. but its really easy to make soo yeppp. do u have any ideas on how to not skip stiches and how i know where my row started and ends?
Hi! I’m not sure why the hat would be rolling up but you could try a fabric/yarn stiffener! For not skipping stitches, I would just make sure you see every stitch you make. i.e. every time you make a stitch, make sure it’s next to the one you just made. Lastly, you can trying using a stitch marker to see where your rows started and ended! (also, make sure you count your stitches after each round so you know you didn’t miss any) Thanks so much for watching!!! 🥰
@@joymakes I ended up messing it up like coz of the type of wool thing I used I used a really thin one ahhhh but im gonna try again just not right now!! but before I messed it up it looked amazing
@Kris Tine I’m so happy it looked good! Dw too much about the mistake. I messed up the first time I made the hat too! For reference: I used a weight 4 acrylic yarn (just your standard acrylic yarn thickness). Happy crocheting! 🥰
Hmmm. Maybe your hook size is too small or maybe your stitches aren’t super even. I would suggest making a swatch of single crochets and see what happens. If it’s still really curved and weird, try a different hook. If not, give the pattern another go! Hope this helps :))
@@joymakes thanks! i was using a 3 mm hook but i sized up to 4 mm :) i was also wondering in the start on the start of round 4 i think it was, do i do double crocheg in each stich around? or is it just the one second stich? thank you❤️
Hi! For round 4, you want to single crochet into the first two stitches (the first AND second stitch) then do two single crochet into the third stitch. That’s the repeat for row 4 :)) Also FYI I used a 5mm hook in the video so you might want to consider using a slightly larger hook. 4.5 would be good! Thanks so much for watching!!!
Yes! I used red heart super saver yarn in white as well as the Caron one pound yarn in lavender/lilac. The yarns were both a medium 4 size. Hope this helps!
The 3 Cute Foxes I’m going to try and get it done maybe before the end of this month but it’s a little hard with school online and stuff but I have hope in myself❤️❤️🤪☺️😩
Row three for example, it would be *single crochet in to one stitch, 2 single crochet into the next stitch* and you would repeat that 8 times or all the way around the circle for a total of 24 stitches. In other words, do one single crochet into the first stitch, two single crochet into the second stitch, one single crochet into the third stitch, two single crochet into the fourth stitch, etc. Hope this helps!
Hey! I actually started crocheting almost 5 years ago. At that time, if I’m being honest, my crocheted pieces looked like trash. 😂 I’m not sure if your comment is a complement or not... but I’ll take it! Anyway, thanks for watching!!! Pls subscribe 😃😃😃

How long did it take to crochet it?
It depends on the person but it took me around 2 days (about 4 or 5 hours total). Hope the helps! 🥰

Yayayaya!!
im so confused you saying "this is the repeat" repeat of what the whole thing or just the last stitches

joy this video is popping off 😍 iconic
THANK U BRAMMM!! 🥰
ur more iconic doe 😉
i cant even see my stitches, and everything is too tight?
It could be your tension. Maybe try a larger hook. It might help :)
I made mine to small :(
:( you can try stretching it if you don’t mind the hat having some gaps :)
@@joymakes thank youuu I'll make the next one a bit bigger though since I made the hat for my younger sister :D
Yay! 😊
